The best restaurants serving Chinese food in Wirral North West

Ordered a takeaway. Missed off rice from order said it would be 10 mins to deliver it. 50 minutes later and we are still waiting on rice so all other food is stone cold? ?. Rang me back 5 mins after 1st phone call and said itd be 10 minutes more. No option for a refund online either so now £20 down drain . First and last time using this place

We have had takeaway food from here a few times and apart from special fried rice, we haven't been given what we have ordered. We initially thought it was just a mix up and we had a dish meant for someone else. By the third time this happened we have had to reach the conclusion they don't care what you get,it's already been paid for in advance. Our last takeaway was last Saturday and we were given Singapore vermicelli which only had pork and 3 prawns in it and was TOTALLY unseasoned. I was prepared to quickly stir fry it with soy sauce and sesame oil to make it edible and because we were too hungry to go back and complain but ENOUGH IS ENOUGH, won't go again.

Highly recommend fantastic value for money we travel 10 miles round trip each month to treat our family. The taste is delicious and portion sizes are outstanding we even got free prawn crackers. Definitely worth a visit

We have just had takeaway from here and it was horrible (worst i’ve ever had). Nothing had any flavour and I had high expectations given I had spent over £50. The chowmein tasted of nothing, the salt n pepper chicken was the driest chicken with no flavour at all and didn’t come with any veg just plain chicken in a box. Rice was edible if curry sauce was on it. Can’t believe we paid £17 for dim sum and the sui mai was rock hard. The starter also came with what looked like mouldy lettuce in the box! Won’t be ordering from here again, stay clear! Will be getting my money back!

Awful chippy ! Couldn't believe my eyes when I got home and unwrapped the chips they were burnt black almost ! Reheated and reheated I just couldn't send them out of that was my business, chicken fried rice consists of chicken and rice nothing else so not much taste, curry sauce not to bad prawn crackers lovely but staff terrible and very snotty, can't even be bothered to ask if you want salt & vinegar probably so they don't have to lift them up and put on your food avoid if you don't want to waste your money

A well presented takeaway, clean, hygienic, with friendly staff which offers a very wide variety of foods from fish and chips to omelettes, chinese food to pizzas. Highly recommended.

Visiting the area and looked for a good Chinese takeaway. Lovely food! The salt and pepper chips are just the best ever. I had a very tasty sweet and sour chicken.. Definitely recommend.

We order from Kowloon regularly. Food is always hot and delicious. Best Won Ton soup ever. Service is always fast and with a smile. 10/10

Absolutely terrible food!! Arrived and wouldn't take my order as cash only. Had to drive home to get cash and honestly don't know why I bothered!!??? Part of my order was salt and pepper chips.. don't know what their interpretation of this dish is, but I basically got a lousy portion of chips with a chicken and green pepper in black bean sauce poured all over it?? How is this salt and pepper chips? Only went here as The Imperial was closed. Will not be bothering again as half my dinner went in the bin. The hot and sour soup was at least edible.

My order was an hour and a half late. I called when the order was 30 minutes late, the one who answered lied to me and said that the order is with the driver and he is near me then 1 hr later no one arrived. I called to cancel my order to find that the order was not even made yet.

I visited around lunar new year—I couldn't recommend the King Wah more! The owners are wonderfully kind and lovely people, and the food was incredibly delicious. I look forward to visiting again in the future, and would recommend the restaurant to anyone in the area.
