The best restaurants serving Chinese food in Wirral North West

Completely tasteless vegetable spring rolls , filled with little other than bean sprouts , and the curry sauce was dreadful too. Definitely not worth £13.50. Wouldn’t go there again.

Order the same meals regularly and always enjoy, however tonight there was a change to the crispy chilli chicken, we have always liked the fact that it wasn’t dried up chicken like everywhere else, the chicken pieces were lovely, tonight there was a change and the chicken was very crispy and basically no meat inside. We also never got our usual lovely delivery driver so hoping it’s not a change of ownership!

Absolutely shocking food, I got charged £14.00 pounds for a 1/4 of crispy duck and pancakes. It was the smallest portion of duck which would only go far enough for 2/3 pancakes. But to add insult to injury it wasn’t even crispy, just soft and fatty, I had to crisp it up in the air fryer.

Awful mushroom chow mien. Noodles with a couple of mushrooms soaked in soy sauce!!

Salt & pepper chicken was a rock hard lump when we opened it. My son couldn’t eat it, it was that bad the small piece he did try eat he couldn’t even bite through and tasted of no chicken at all. The chips to go with this were very over cooked & ended up in the bin. The sausage dinner was the same chips where over cooked and couldn’t be chewed & the sausages where like rubber. Soup wasn’t great either. All ended up in the bin apart from the prawn crackers which where the only things edible.

I have been getting meals (delivered) from China City for the past few years, excellently cooked/hot on arrival/all staff very helpful/polite including delivery staff, 100% customer satisfaction, A.B, A Prenton customer.

This chip is one of the best I ever been too The salt and pepper boxes are too die for Highly recommended!!!! 5 stars from me

Awful. Chicken fried rice was more like boiled rice and the chios were obviously re-warmed and rock hard. Save your money!

Lovely place with more than just fish and chips. Best salt and pepper wings around and the singapore chow mein was heavenly!! service was fantastic too would highly recommend 10/10

Really nice food at a good price too. Quick service and they deliver to the local area. Easy to park outside the outside the takeaway as well

Food is always excellent and the lady behind the counter is always really happy and smiley keep up the good work

I know, I know, it's a chippy. But the chips were soaked in grease and not at all crispy. Felt like the chips had been frying for 60 seconds before being put into the tray. I might try them again in future but there's too much competition around to make a mess of such an easy dish.
