Order the same meals regularly and always enjoy, however tonight there was a change to the crispy chilli chicken, we have always liked the fact that it wasn’t dried up chicken like everywhere else, the chicken pieces were lovely, tonight there was a change and the chicken was very crispy and basically no meat inside. We also never got our usual lovely delivery driver so hoping it’s not a change of ownership!

The prawn toast was greasy. The duck was overcooked and tough. I really didn’t enjoy it and left more than half uneaten. I won’t use this restaurant again.

FREEZING COLD. Won’t order from here again

Got the sweet chilli noodle box with the 3 meats and honestly it was the best noodles box I have had in my life miles better than the well known noodle restaurants

Spring rolls were good. Satay sauce tasted overdone /burnt but chicken was good. Singapore noodles were vile and went in the bin.

Came hot, all the right items, large portions.

Used Welcome a few times now, food is great, delivery always on time and the lady who drops it off is lovely, she always has a big smile and is very pleasant :)

Staff were really welcoming and kind when i went to collect my food, it was warm,tasty and done on time! Would definitely recommend and will be coming back

Regularly order from here, food is always delicious, hot and the driver is very nice as we leave a note saying the baby is asleep.

Food wasn't as good as normal very overcooked. Unfortunately had to throw away.

Ordered at 6.30pm and arrived at 8.20pm. Called at 7.45pm and told it would be with us at 7.55 but took another 20 mins. Awful wait. Has happened before. Won't be using them again. Offered £3 off but have to go through Just Eat which is a hassle.

Chicken was completely rubbery in chicken fried rice, sweet & sour sauce was like thick orange vinegar, banana fritters very soggy, very disappointed as I have had this combo from here before, total waste of money and sadly is in the bin.

Not upto usual standard, not sure if it was because I ordered something different or if it was earlier than I usually order but chips were very poor and sweet & sour sauce lacked flavour.

Having left the below excellent review previously I'm now left disappointed. The food is still excellent however the last 4 times we have gone to order on delivery we have found them to be closed early, not as advertised or as usual. Frustrating as cannot now rely on them. Will have to start looking at competitors when we have been very very loyal until now. Delicious food every time we order, particularly love the black bean dishes and the jumbo prawn rolls! The staff are very friendly on phone or when we have gone in. Very quick for collection and great delivery times and lovely drivers also. Definitely our go to Chinese in Heswall!

Welcome takeaway fantastic. Absolutely amazing! Sliced Fillet Steak with Ginger & Spring Onions was so succulent and arrived piping hot. First time that I have tasted Salt & Pepper Mini Spring Rolls and will definitely be on my order from now on.

Great food, early and friendly delivery driver

This order was 2 hours late! I called you and was offered a refund of £20 which has NEVER been supplied.

Unfortunately we felt that our meal wasn’t up to the usual standard. The steak wasn’t as succulent as usual and the chicken bites were dry. We are hoping that this was just a blip as up until now it has always been amazing.

On Friday night we all enjoyed an exceptional meal from welcome takeaway. Cooked to the highest standard, using fresh ingredients and arrived piping hot.

Food was good. Terrible service, it was Chinese New Year, but waited more than 2.5 hours for food even after going to the shop to collect in the end.

We have just eaten a fantastic meal from welcome takeaway. They never fail to deliver food of the most highest quality. Using fresh ingredients and always delivered piping hot. After a great selection of starters we tucked into a main of sliced fillet steak with ginger and spring onions WOW WOW WOW ! A must for anyone who hasn’t tried it yet.

Lovely food honestly highly recommend. I’ve eaten from one or two takeaways in this area and not enjoyed any so far until last night food arrived quickly, well packaged, everything I ordered was there haha it was all hot nothing was cold or soggy and it all tasted great think this is my go to Chinese takeaway from now on yeh cannot complain at all which is a massive achievement highly recommend and I’ll be reordering again soon after payday.

Been a customer for over 10 years and now and I have to wait 2 hours plus for a small order? Far too long to wait I thought I was a valued customer but taking orders from out side the immediate area is not keeping your loyal customers happy. As soon as I ordered I was given a 2 hour 20 min delivery time. Absolute madness I will be finding a new restaurant.
