Yeung Sing in Wirral

Food was delicious we got the shredded chicken in chilli sauce with fried rice and the salt and pepper shredded chicken with noodles. Both I though was at a good price and competitive with other local Chinese’s very happy with my experience and it was delivered 15 minutes early which is always a plus and by a very friendly guy.

Not usually the type to leave a review but i was disappointed by the food. The staff are lovely and welcoming they are at no fault. but the food on the other hand wasn’t the best and my family and i wouldn’t return again. we ordered salt and pepper chicken it was practically hard , the texture and everything about it really not enjoyable £7.50 it cost but on the menu it says £6.80… definitely overpriced for what you get. curry sauce was way to fruity to eat and we ordered chicken fried rice which some of the chicken was pink? i’m assuming it’s chicken as i’ve ask for chicken fried rice. And my little brother was eating the chippy and found a hair in it as he was eating it, i get it accidents can happen but that is not the most pleasant sight. lovely people but wouldn’t return

The chippy is under new owners and management since mid last year/2022. We was a bit miffed if the takeaway was going to be as good as before. Nevertheless we tried it and got sweet sour pork which was delicious though the side chips could have done with staying longer in the frier. Still a good sausage dinner though Delivery guy is very friendly and smiley. Overall, a good Chinese on the Wirral

Absolutely love this chippy. The food is always tasty, well cooked and big portions, sometimes too big. Chips are always crisp not soggy or incipid. The Chinese meals are really good too. Can't really fault it. Never had a single bad meal from this place, hence the review.

Yeung Sing is a small gem on the Wirral. The place relatively unknown but even so they always provides top notch quality food. Their food hygiene of 5/5 speaks for it. I love their Beef Chow Mein, Singapore Vermicelli and Special Fried Rice - my recommendations! I still go here when I feel like a takeaway during quarantine. The family has ran the shop for years and are very polite people. They made some safety barriers to ensure safety for their staff and customers. It’s tough for self-employed businesses during this time but I wish them the very best. Probably one of my favourite chip shops on the Wirral and definitely the best quality in the Bebington area.

Best Chinese chippy around never had a problem food always hot and fresh don't wait to long either really struggle to get a better chicken fried rice and salt pepper chicken prawn toast chips could be better there hit and miss

Been coming here for the past 10 years. Yeung Sing has a fantastic rating of 5 for food hygiene. Never had any problems. Always tasty food. Curry is delicious and there is a wide range of dishes. The fish is huge and cooked well. Quality is top notch. Family run business. Staff is friendly, humble and polite. Can not fault this takeaway at all. Every time I come it’s fantastic. Delivery service is always fast, can be slower on busier days like the holidays but perfectly understandable.

Only went here as it was one of the only chippy’s open on Boxing Day and what a mistake. Should have stayed at home chewing on my nans slippers as they would be tastier than the slop I came away with. Rice was stuck together and stodgy, the sweet and sour would be more suited to hanging wallpaper and the crispy chilli beef bore no relation to what I ordered, it certainly was not crispy and any beef content was probably fried away before Xmas. When we got home the chips were missing (probably ran out the back door following being fried numerous times over the Christmas period). Just waiting for the stomach cramps and sickness to begin. STAY AWAY.

We stopped going to this chippy. The chicken in the Chinese dishes isn't edible, its an awful texture, nothing how chicken should be, i always had to get beef dishes. I was also sick of finding hairs in my food which happened on many occasions throughout the years.

Been here many times and the food is always good. Family run business and staff are friendly. Manwah, the other Chinese chippy nearby is very salty, and the quality there is not as good as Yeung Sing. Recommend here over there even if it’s a slightly longer walk. Yeung Sing also offers a delivery service here for one of those nights you are tired and don’t want to walk. Salt and pepper chicken is my favourite and their chicken fried rice!

Is it possible to leave less than a 1 rating! Well this has got to be the most awful meal I have ever had from a chip shop. To the point of me questioning was the chicken even chicken??? Avoid this place!

Live in Bebington and this chippie is nice Quick service and quality food at a good price Nice chinese family running it. John .

probably worse chippy food i have eva had.and thats saying something after chippys round here from start to finish awful salt n pepper prawns in thick greasy batter. special chow mein where every meat tastes the same (of absoulte nothing) chips under cooked best part of the meal was throwing it in the bin pathetic effort

I know a majority of people in this area haven't heard of this little gem before, and they would normally go to the extremely salty Manwah in Dacre Hill. Just think this chippy has been here before Manwah and it's still going strong, because of one thing, the quality of the food. I have to say it is one of the best, if not the best, Chinese takeaway on the Wirral. They don't advertise that much (not on Just Eat, not on any Website, not even in the bloody phonebook) because they don't have to. I guarantee that you would be very happy with your food if you order from this family owned restaurant. You can call them on 01516431911. Enjoy!!!

Luckily this is my local chippy and the food is always very good, They are very fast and efficient and they have 5 star hygiene.

Good portions, chips lovely and chrisp, fried rice not greasy. lovely and fresh. The chicken has the texture of chicken, this may sound strange and obvious but if you have visited nearby Man Wah recently you will know what I mean.
