The fish and spring roll tasted as if they had been cooked in well used oil. Never had any complaints before with this restaurant, food has always been really good and great portions !! maybe they had an 'off day .

Food was very good. Everything was hot and fresh and quick delivery. Salt and pepper ribs are the most amazing ribs we've ever tasted, just fall straight off the bone. we enjoyed it so much we've ordered 2 nights on the run! Definitely found our new Chinese takeaway.

Food great as always but was 15 mins late & forgot the fried rice.

Order was good when it arrived but 1 hour late.

Love orchid the food is always good quality i only ever order from them as you know its going to be nice, however every order there is always something missing or wrong... missing additional item (chips) I paid extra for to accompany my meal so meal was nearly £10 and was missing half of the meal !

Waited 2 hrs for delivery and when it eventually arrived it was cold so was thrown in the bin wouldn’t use these again or recommend anybody to use them only 2 miles away and took over 2 hes

Good quality food let down by delivery. I ordered for the advertised delivery time. Then I was sent a message saying they had increased the time. Then they were late with that.

Ordered food at 7.15 at 8.05 it said was on the way 8.40 Calle the restaurant and was told it was with the driver would be there any minuet phoned again at 9 to be told there was a mix up the order hadn’t printed and had not been made

I’m hoping this review is just an outlier because the food is usually great. Ordered today and the prawn crackers were inedibly stale and I found small bones in the special fried rice too.

Hot & sour soup was spicy & hot. Mixed chow mein, tasteless and does not look appetising, gravy is watery & a off white colour. 2 King prawns, a couple of pieces of chicken, beef & pork. It's not worth the money & wouldn't order again.

Not it's usual standard. Chips were undercooked and mushy. Singapore rice was bland. Expect better for the price

There was no hot and sour sauce to go with the crispy chicken. Chips were a very small portion and were really greasy and the curry sauce unpleasant. The noodles and crispy chicken were good.

Very pleased with our first order. Everything arrived hot and spot on the delivery time requested. The portion sizes were generous. Will definitely be on our favourite Friday night takeaway list!

Got message of just Eat saying on its way, 10 minutes later it still hadn't arrived so rang the orchid they said the driver is on its way to you, still no sign 10 minutes later so rang again and the driver had gone back to orchid without delivering to me so they had to cook the meal again. I then finally got it 10 to 15 minutes later as it's only up the road. Over all it took about 1 hour 4o minutes to receive meal.

Taste was good but not very hot

Always order from this Chinese restaurant but the meal we received tonight was cold so we where disappointed.

Disappointed ordered chicken fried rice and special fried rice and chips, chicken was tough and dry and the chips where awful looked like they had been reheated.

Asked for no onions....couldnt be anymore onions in curry if you tried.... But rest of food was nice...thanks

When placing the order the delivery was 30 to 40 mins, no sooner I had placed the order it went up to over an hour, then it was delayed, even the time on the app said on thing but it was later again. Would have gone elsewhere with better delivery times

1 portion of chips between 2 meals. When 1 is supposed to come with chips and other paid extra for.

We have used the Orchid many times and the food is very nice everytime. Would recommend to anyone.

Food was great delivered on time however the driver ignored the instructions to come through driveway gates and was trying to access the wrong door but other than that all was good

The food was later and delayed. It then took forever even after saying it was out for delivery even though the restaurant is 5 minutes away. Will never go back

Food was superb came half a hour early and all food was warm and cooked to perfection best duck I’ve had in a long time.

Chicken and sweet corn soup tasted like pepper ….Singapore vermicelli had no taste to it at all! Salt and pepper chips was the only ok thing we ordered.

Okay but paid for a cheeseburger and they forgot the cheese. And asked for no beansprouts in the noodles and there were. Ribs not very meaty.

Nice food overall beef in black bean sauce was a bit tough though .. they forgot the chips aswell but did send them out after I called the restaurant.

1st time of rdering from here and wasn't sure what to expect. The food was delicious and service was great. Well worth the few minutes extra it took. I will be ordering from them again.

Would recommend this Chinese although I do NOT recommend the chow mein. Salt and pepper chicken and chips are very good.

Unfortunately we were given the wrong order which we collected. We didn’t realise until we got home and when we returned to tell them and take the incorrect order back, the service wasn’t the greatest. Thankfully when they realised we had brought the incorrect order back they were really apologetic. We couldn’t fault the food though once we had received the correct order it was absolutely delicious.

Beautiful food delivered hot and fresh The cod was huge and covered in a crispy not soggy batter and was a meal in its own! Highly recommended
