Just another chippy but ok though

Went there today at 4:45pm and ordered a small portion of chips. Went home and started eating them and could only manage 10 chips or so. They were absolutely disgusting. I think they were yesterday's chips, left sitting in their cooking oil for 16 hours so the only taste was burnt cooking oil. I left the rest of the bag out in my garden so the pidgeons could eat them. No takers so far. Should have just thrown them in the bin. This place never fails to dissappoint. It's been ran by different people over the past 10 years that I lived here, and all of them are doing something wrong. At first it was the wait times. The food was tasty but waiting an hour or two for food really put me off the place. It closed down for a couple of years and opened up again with new staff. Food was mediocre but the wait times weren't that bad. Then it closed down again. A couple of years later and here we are. I tried it one more time and they can't even cook a decent portion of chips so I'm not going to trust them with any other food. Feel sorry for the staff. If they are using yesterdays chips for their customers then obviously something is wrong. A few of my neighbours think this place is run by the Triads - and the staff are slaves. It will go out of business soon enough.

The food was lovely until my partner and I found a hair in both of our dishes.. can’t fault the cooking but the hygiene could definitely do with improvement. Staff were lovely but both had their hair down when preparing the dishes. There was a spring roll with a hair cooked inside and one in the chicken curry

Almost 2 hr wait , phoned they said on way (I live 5 mins away in a car ) 30 mins later drove to shop ,food arrived tasted ok but only warm ,wouldn’t bother again ,it was for my daughter’s birthday tea kinda killed the mood

The black dishes have so many jalapeños in them. Since when does a black bean dish have them in. It really ruined it for me. The meal has left me super thirsty. Fast delivery and the chips were nice.

This Chippie has just re-opened with new Chinese owners. Chips were re-heated warm ups that tasted like crispy rubber. Paid £3 for a large Portion for 2 and it was more like a regular Portion. Beef Curry was ok but not much beef in it. Fried rice was greasy. Sausage was also re-heated rubber and the dog refused to eat it! The Meals cost more than nearby much better Chippies such as Hungrys up the road. Staff not friendly and look like they don’t want to be working there. Sadly no improvement on the last below par owners that had it - Can’t see them lasting 12 Months like the last lot!! 👎🏻

Ordered special fried rice from here £8.20 and barbecue sauce £1.80 over priced and not very nice went in bin will never order from here again disappointed

Salt and pepper sui mai is a must to try! haven't had a bad meal there yet!

Re heated food like eating rubber flip flops that was just the chips. curry was like jelly .pies looked like left in microwave for a week just avoid this place and save a dissapointing tea . Plenty of good chippys round corner . When complain he dont understand or speak English.

Same as wallasey dump same owners dry food 1hr hafe wait for cold food and when call him to complain carnt speak English???

Chips were shrivelled dry and hard as if they were old chips reheated l ended up throwing them in the bin as they were unedable

Great chippy, really convenient for higher Tranmere. I usually order beef in oyster sauce with noodles. Foods always delicious, would recommend.

Huge menu, don't have to wait long for it, decent prices, been a few times and plan on going more often.

Es el mejor para llevar chino en la zona. También es el más lento. Puede morir de inanición esperando un plato sencillo. He esperado más de dos horas en el tiempo. Dejamos durante una hora una vez y volvió y quedó allí slackjawed. Los lugareños saben que tienen que esperar. Lo mejor es pedir la semana antes y después de recoger. Por desgracia, su comida vale la pena la espera.

Hacen un langostino en salsa de ostras preciosa king, entonces de nuevo nunca he tenido problemas con cualquier cosa desde aquí. El servicio un poco lento, pero vale la pena la espera
