Tai Chang in Wirral

DO NOT ORDER!! 4 times I have ordered from here and every time it is around an hour after the time they give you on the phone. They do not start cooking until you have arrived. 5 people asked for their money back tonight while I was waiting for my order (45 minutes late tonight) they have lost a few customers tonight.

This is by far the best Chinese I have been to in a while hard to find a good one in the Wirral and this is by far the best a very enjoyable meal and will definitely come again

Again, third time ordered and waited this time for over 3 hours for a takeaway. Initially informed would be a 1 and a half hour wait, which was acceptable at time of order. But with an order and hungry family after nearly 2 and a half hours we called to get “we are busy” would be 30 mins and then told owner we had been waiting too long again. “We are busy” is fine but getting sick of excuses all the time with this Chinese. It arrived and got the order wrong, then said we hadn’t ordered what we ordered with dishes missing. So annoyed!!! Take responsibility especially when staff repeat order!!! We haven’t got it wrong…YOU HAVE! Deliver what is expected…we have paid for it! NOT GOOD ENOUGH. Take less orders so you can meet customer demand in an acceptable time frame!

Food nice but delivery terrible, tell you it will be delivered in an hour, take at least two. Happened on the last two orders

We’ve had 2 separate takeaways from here and both did not disappoint. Particularly impressed with the banquet for 4: so much food! And everything we tasted was delicious. Loved the prawns in ga Liv and ginger and the chicken sweetcorn soup was lovely. Only slight point is we could have done with a sachet of soy sauce. Highly recommended takeaway.

We are a family of 6 adults and this is our regular Chinese takeaway. We order a lot of food including the appetiser combo and a meal each - it's great value at less than £10 per person. The portions are a really good size for the 4 strapping sons in the family too! Highly recommended ☺

Ordered from here yesterday for the very first time. The menu was excellent in it’s variety but we opted for the ‘happy meal’, a medley of Chinese appetisers followed by crispy duck and pancakes followed by a choice of mains. As we were four people we got to choose four different dishes, with no restrictions on the more expensive ingredients as in many other establishments. The food was delivered promptly by an extremely nice young man and the food, frankly, was absolutely superb. All for £13.50 per head. We will definitely use Tai Chang again & highly recommend it for great, good value food!

Wether it’s collection or delivery it’s always 10/10 can’t complain food always piping hot and Delicious. If you want a Chinese or just a bag of chips this is the place to go!!

Currently living in Neston and fancied a Chinese takeaway after work and found this quality establishment. We ordered a mixed starter that consisted of chicken in satay sauce, ribs, prawn toast, seaweed and fried prawns with a sweet and sour sauce and also ordered 2 fried rice, a plain chow mein, two mains: chicken sweet and sour sauce and a special szechuan and some prawn crackers which came to £27.50....which to be fair was well worth it as our house mate had some as there was plenty leftover. Phoned in and by the time We'd driven 10 minutes from Neston to Tai Chang, the order was pretty much ready. The food was quality despite there being a huge quantity and the people running it where lovely. Highly recommend it to anyone.

Didn't have to wait long at all for our order, all the food was delicious, a good price and the portion sizes were very generous. Will return :)

Rang and ordered food for family...went over the order 3 times the lady couldnt speak and understand English...so we got charged £25 pounds and wrong order arrived...the main meal was missing tried to charge me extra for delivering the main missing meal... when it was clearly her mistake...very bad business skills...very disappointed indeed

Rather than go out for a family meal, for a change we thought we would try a takeaway. Tai Chang meals were ordered by phone and they said it would be about 45 minutes. It arrived at our door after about 35 minutes. Everything was nicely hot and well labelled. The best bit though was everything and I mean everything was delicious. Unable to fault. It was as good as restaurant cooked food. Well done Tai Chang. Will definitely be ordering takeaways from here again.

Heswall is a busy little town & this is one of the chinese shops there love there chicken curry, sweet & sour beef, & pork. Always friendly staff always good service would highyly recommend this place for a greattake away

Our local Chinese take aways have either closed or gone down hill so we tried here, but further away but came recommended. Very nice. Starter combo platter is lovely and we had the crispy chilli beef for main which was also nice. Also good that they can make your meals that little bit healthier if you ask, no MSG, lower fat/salt etc will deffo be going here again.

We ordered a takeaway to be delivered to the Caravan club site ...it arrived after about 25 mins ...it was really hot and tasted really nice and fresh ....cannot recommend enough would definitely use again when in area again

Second time to the area and re-ordered from here as was so good last time, a year later it is still as excellent! Arrived quickly and super hot, food was fantastic and tasty, really haven't anything negative to say, can't recommend enough!

Our local Chinese takeaways seem to have gone a bit downhill and this place was recommended. Had a few meals from there now - always collected them - and can't complain at all.

Ordenados por teléfono y recoge. Como era diciembre 27 estaba muy lleno, pero que se las arregló para producir tan excelente comida de calidad a un precio muy razonable. Mi hija visitando desde Londres quedé muy impresionado con la calidad de la cocina. Personal amable y servicial, a pesar de estar dirigido a sus pies. Sin duda volveré y lo recomiendo a mis amigos.

I grabbed a takeaway from here after a long day at work.the next day I was violently sick in work and continued to be sick for the next 6 hours. Very poor

We had four happy meals this weekend what a fantastic feast it was. Lovely starters, duck and a choice of mains. I had steak in Peking sauce it was lovely. So much food and excellent value too. Would defiantly return

Have used this takeaway for a few years now although it has been a while since my last order. I had looked forward to ordering a banquet but was very disappointed. The soup was ok as were the spring rolls and ribs but the main meals were completely tasteless and the chips were raw. Most of the food went on the bin. Won't be rushing back

Best chipy in Heswall, lovely owners and fantastic food, trust me I know what I am talking about! Shredded chilli beef is amazing. Staff lovely and the lady that serves in the front is so kind always smiling and so hard working we love her...

We enjoy a takeaway from Tai Chang at least once a month. Having tried the other Chinese takeaways in heswall at various times we always return here, reasonably priced and always good quality, would recommend.

Me and my family have been loyal customers for over 8 years now! But recently the standard of food that they have produced has been to a 2-5 standard (being generous). We thought it was just a one off, but on countless occasions they've failed to produce the quality of food that they used to.
