Got the £9.50 box of salt and pepper fish and chip box. Best salt and pepper seasoning from a Chinese I have ever had. Strong flavour and has you wanting more. Quick delivery too will definitely be returning

Food used to be lovely now it’s terrible 😞

Had food from this place a few times, sometimes good, sometimes just ok. But won’t go there again. Went in to get food, there was a youngish man in there with dark hair and beard, I watched as he was serving, looked like he had cold or maybe hay fever, watched him serve someone then as he was finishing up wiped his runny nose with his fingers, did this couple of times, then went on to serve someone else. Not at any time did he wash his hands, just carried on serving, Disgusting lack of hygiene!!!!

Generous portion sizes, delicious food, speedy service at a reasonable price. Can’t wait for our next meal from here.

Salt and pepper donner meat is incredible and the salt and pepper spare ribs are perfect. It's a nice little, local chippy everyone should try. Worth the wait

I have been using Big Fish for quite a while as it is my local chip shop. Albeit I have had the same dish pretty much every Friday, but sometimes in the week (Can't be bothered to cook) and each time had the meal delivered. For me the response to my phone order has always be great, the delivery that followed again has always been great. People there have always been friendly and the food has been consistently very good quality. I wouldn't bother going anywhere else, so we'll do guys and thank you.

Salt and pepper donna meat is unreal, best onion rings on the wirral as well. Not had a bad meal from here and I've been coming for quite some time

Had a sausage dinner from these the other night and it was well below the usual standards. The peas were rock hard lol. I couldn't work out if they had been under cooked or over cooked. Plus the service was too slow and I had to wait nearly 25 minutes just for two English chippy dinners. Come on guys you've got a good reputation in the area. Don't let standards slip and spoil it.

Food here is not that good . Staff are nice . Except for the owners who seem to boss there staff about when they know what they are doing . Been here a few times . Never been happy with the food. Chips half cooked in tray on counter top then re heat then. No thanks . Hate that. Just cook them. I would happily wait for yummy 😋 chips . I live like 3 mins away . And go to other chippy cause this place not nice

Ordered by phone by the time we got there our food was ready I had asweet and sourshichicken bowl hubby got a salt and pepper bowl mine was fabulous as usual prices of batterd chicken sweet and soursauce I picked fried rice which there was plenty of we both finished our meals and were satisfied and enjoyed it will definitely be going back to try the oth bowl on offer

Dont waste your time or money waited over a hour and half for food which came slightly warm. Tasted awfull and oily jus a big box of grease. Better places in wallasey first time tried wouldn't go back again takes alot for me to write a review don't say you wasn't warned.

Don't know how this place has good reviews. It took more than half an hour for a couple of sausage & chip baps, the slowest service ever. The sausages were cut in half and looked like they were thrown back in the fryer to cook the middle. Disgusting!!

Good prices, great range of Chinese and traditional chippy foods. Would recommend to anyone.

Had a lovely takeaway from here. Wonton soup was delicious. the deep fried combo box was beautifully presented and some of the nicest Sui mai I've had in a long time served with soy sauce. Salt and pepper chicken fried rice was fab, huge portion too. Really nice chips, again massive portion. Overall excellent quality and great value. Free prawn crackers and salt & pepper chips was a nice surprise too.

Can't believe this place gets decent reviews. Chips wer cooked in burnt acrid tasting fat. Took them back for a new portion. Got home and they wer burnt again. Couldn't eat them.

Food is always cooked fresh so either order ahead or be prepared to wait, otherwise it's all good

I discovered this hidden gem recently and keep going back. Firsty I was hooked on the amazing ribs (huge and plenty of meat) since then I have strted going through the menu I can highly recommend The Szechuan house special, packed with all meats and plenty of different vegetables too and packed with flavour . This is definitely the best Chines food available anywhere in Wallasey

Ribs,get the ribs best you can get for miles . A very very extensive menu if you don't want ribs. You wont be disappointed

This place is a very good standard, but for Tripadvisor to put it in the fine dining category??! This will simply put up expectations way beyond what is possible in a good, competent, friendly chippie. Shame on you tripadvisor, or in event the person who posted it as fine dining .

Very nice staff. Delivery available. Normal choice of Chinese dishes, sausages, fish and chips, fish cakes, etc. Not outstanding. Premises look clean.

Chips were like cardboard,looked as if they had been fried several times,fish was lovely,nice touch adding piece of lemon. Fried rice was a bit dry,but suppose it's personal taste,Thai Green Curry was spicy,not a lot of meat and prawns in House special. Staff were civil,not really friendly, but not rude either apart from Chinese girl
