Lovely food, nice, clean, comfortable restaurant small yet not overly cramped. Staff attentive, friendly, and quick to help. Very enjoyable evening, will be back soon.

After 3 years of going to all different Chinese takeaways trying to find the best one for me, whenever I order my dish (crispy shredded chicken in chilli sauce) it’s never chicken just mainly crispy batter, until I ordered from here, safe to say this place has gained a new weekly loyal customer, the food is outstanding the crispy chicken is full of chicken and fresh, I’m putting my meal on hold to write this review because it’s THAT good , 😊 👍

Ordered takeaway from here and it was absolutely amazing. Fast delivery, Massive portions, great customer service too as I forgot to put in house number and they called me straight after ordering to confirm address. Have eaten in here loads of times too and it's always been delicious. Highly recommend.

First time I've ever been here. Staff were very helpful, genuinely friendly and provided very good service without being intrusive. Food was very flavoursome, although portions were a little small. I understand this is to stop food wastage, you can order more as it is an all you can eat buffet. Good value for money and well worth the visit. Definitely going back again.

Won’t ever be ordering from again or visiting again to eat in! food was over a hour later so 2 hour wait in all.. arrived stone cold and like it was been scraps.. chips was hard and the pasta\rice in dim sum tray wasn’t cooked and very thick and hard. Asked for a refund but offered a fresh delivery no one showed up. Luckily We got a refund through just eat and ordered from our usual Chinese (only reason we didn’t in the first place as we didn’t have our bank card for cash out so we ordered online)

We went for a quiet dinner having used this restaurant frequently. Our experience on this occasion was awful and it will be a long time before we return. We were seated next to a large table of several adults and young children, for the next 80 minutes it was impossible for us to have a conversation due to the rowdiness and noise from this table. They argued with patrons on an adjacent table which the entire restaurant overheard. It was an awful evening...

BEWARE .OREDR AT THIS PLACE AT YOU PERIL Used their takeaway service. ordered food for 8 people, £84, after traveling for 7 hours for a wedding next day, told food would be delivered in 30 mins, rang 40 mins later and told order was out for delivery , rang again 30 mins later to be told its on the way, rang again another 30 mins later to be told it had been delivered . we had not received the order, I went to the restaurant with my Daughter to sort out the problem, to be told by lady in charge that the driver told her he delivered it, she fetched him out from the kitchen and when I confronted him about the non delivery he threatened me with violence and the lady in charged refused to refund our money, saying we had had the food and were trying to get the money back . being over 70 it was disgraceful to be threatened with violence when all we wanted was our tea, Horrible experience people like this should not be in business Fortunately we ordered through UBER and complained to them and they have refunded us in full, I hope the take this company of their approved list

New Ying King Chinese Restaurant is a gem! The service was incredibly quick and friendly, making us feel right at home. The staff were attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was delicious, with each dish bursting with authentic flavors. Highly recommend this place for a wonderful dining experience!

Then the delivery driver said he would go outside with my 70 year old dad and punch him in the face. So no food and we paid £80 for nothing but being accused of stealing. DISGUSTING PEOPLE AND DISGUSTING SERVICE. AVOID. Ying King is Ming - lives up to the local saying.

Excellent Chinese with piping hot food and very fresh.

Went again the other week and had a great time. The set banquet menu was great and the starters were lovely and the main sweet and sour pork was the best i have ever tasted! Service was friendly and swift! GO!

Delicious and fresh food. Really flavourful and fantastic veggie options. Salt and pepper vegetables and veggie chow mein are particularly amazing! Nice helpful staff, and we use this as our main takeaway.

First time ordering. We opted for a delivery at home and will definitely order again. All the food we ordered was full of flavour and tasted super fresh not at all greasy. I went for the Special chow mein it was packed full of meat with a good balance of noodles and sauce. Would also recommend the dim sum appetiser for two as well as being nicely presented good size portion and was delicious.

This is 1 of the best restaurants in the area, the staff are very friendly and always asking if they can assist. Food is fantastic so nice that you can easily fill up on the starters alone !!! It is all you can eat but the food is made to order so it's not sitting in them horrible hot plates. You can order as many times as you like so don't feel once you have finished that's it. Definitely worth a visit.

The worst chinese i've had. Chips are frozen fries and small portions.

Had a lovely evening with family, for 4 grandchildren's and 1 daughter's birthday. The service was friendly and fast considering there was 14 of us. Tje food is excellent and tasty. The service brought the children cake with candles amd sung/played happy birthday. They also brought them each presents. The children really enjoyed themselves. Would highly recommend.

We ate here for the first time after having tried a takeaway a few months ago. The takeaway was exceptional so we expected even greater things from eating in. We were not disappointed - all the dishes we three ordered were beautifully cooked, well flavoured and so enjoyable. The staff were very pleasant, friendly and attentive when required. The ingredients used were all high quality and tasty. We'll definitely go again. Highly recommended.

Having given this place a 5 star review 3 years ago, my latest experience was below average. I'm not sure if it's under new management but the helpful friendly atmosphere has changed, the bar staff were nice and I give 2 stars for them. The food was very average/ below average, they also seem very strict on the all you can eat menu, not at all accommodating

This place has got to be one of my favourite new places to eat out. The only downside is the toilet set up. Unfortunately, it is upstairs, and there is only one cubicle that doesn't have a lock on the door. The cupboard could do with a sign on it saying that it is not another toilet cubicle. Maybe a sign to indicate when the toilet is in use. It was very embarrassing to walk in on a stranger sitting on the toilet.

Evening time banquet every bit as good as lone dishes might taste. The starters are fresh, clean and tasty without being spectacular. The mains are delicious. I tried the Mongolian sauce chicken and Yellow Bean sauce chicken. Both dishes bursting with flavour. The Mongolian chicken zapping the tongue with soy sauce and ginger in a marriage of passion, whilst the Yellow Bean chicken was fresh and umami despite being served so soon after my first main. The Mongolian sauce is like a posh teriyaki that doesn't need to be followed by a pint of coke, as the ginger keeps the whole plate fresh. The waiting staff are highly attentive and energetic. No sooner had the first waitress taken our drink order that the other appeared in view. They moved in a perfect 180 degree rotisserie which made me chuckle. Great value and a cosy atmosphere. 😊

This is a small restaurant, so when my group of 14 arrived, there was no more room. Really good food, and service, and very pleasant staff to serve us. Recommended.

Second time here for "all you can eat". Well worth the money. You can eat as much as you like. The staff friendly and it is worth booking as it gets very busy.

We had a party off 10 people the food and service were absolutely amazing. The staff went above and beyond. They even gave one of our party a birthday gift when they heard us talking about his birthday… I would just like to say a big thank you to all the staff for making the night so special. Can’t recommend this restaurant enough.

Fantastic buffet and great value at £21.95. My wife and I had a great time, the service was swift and most friendly. The chicken and sweetcorn soup was lovely and hot, the 6 chosen appetizers were lovely and tasty and for the main courses we both had chicken sweet and sour which was the best i've ever tasted. I followed with beef and mushroom but the beef was soft in texture and I didn't like it, so I won't bother with the beef again. Would we go back again - Oh definitely!

Absolutely outstanding!! Went tonight for a birthday meal and despite them being busy due to Valentines day the service was 10/10. The food was delicious as always but the extra touches tonight really made it special. Thank you so much to all the staff here 👏👏👏👏

Great little gem of a place ! They were busy for a Sat night and nothing was too much trouble . We had a birthday and they even gave my daughter a present! Staff was so funny. They do all they can to accommodate us when the table before us would not leave. Can’t praise them enough.

I hadn't been the ying king for a couple of years. It seems like corners have been cut. The bottom of the stairs is a mega hazard. So many people trip over it as enetering. We arrived and where bluntly told we had a hour and half to eat. The servers linger around your shoulder watching you. As soon as you put something down they swoop in and take it with no consideration to personal space. The food has gone down the pan. BBQ ribs which were covered in syrup... Disgusting. Drinks are expensive. To polish the meal off no sooner had my spoon been put in the bowl the rude server came over and said right now you pay and go. The balls on them is impressive but I simply won't be returning and I'd advise others to go elsewhere.

Rude staff. Bad customer service. We had booked but they clearly couldn’t fit us in. We had our bill given to us before we’d even finished eating. Desserts were given out while half of us still had our main courses “to hurry things along”. Won’t be returning.

Gave this a place a try when we fancied a chinese and was not disappointed…….so much so we booked again the following week to celebrate a birthday! What a lovely little independently run restaurant. Staff couldn't be anymore helpful or pleasant and the food is just spot on, fresh, hot and most importantly tasty with plenty of it! You certainly leave with a full belly that's for sure. On the birthday visit they had some nice touches to make it more special and i just cant recommend this place enough! Looking forward to booking in again soon.

Lovely hidden gem. A small business, however, the food portions are not small, the food is by far the best on the Wirral. The staff are very attentive and welcoming! Joey is the best! Would highly recommend people try this just once, it definitely won’t be the last visit if you do.

Instant coffee! Overly stressed staff. Ridiculously big prices. Large soft drink was £4 and then it was the cheap kind of cola. Main with a side of rice was £15. Chicken over cooked. It gets the one star because the exit door was working. No problems with the exit that’s why it gets one star.

The service was amazing and despite a full restaurant, surprisingly fast. The servers are obviously very committed to the job, they were always around to help and were very friendly. I can honestly say it was some of the best food I’ve ever had, and the all-you-can-eat style works so well. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants something a bit different when eating out as well as some delicious food.

Usually go to another similar type Chinese all you can eat in Oxton Rd, but this is hands down much better, food hot, was worried when the apertisers came out, was expecting 1 of each item but out came 2, hot and sour soup was absolutely amazing, will defo be going again soon

Came here for the first time tonight, the food was gorgeous, all tastes fresh, definitly worth spending the extra money compared to your usual buffet...the only thing I'd say is the kids age limit should be higher, we went went with 3 children ages 10-12 who all got charged adult meals of £21.50, and they all ate kids sized portions, maybe do a height limit like some of the liverpool buffets, that aside, the food was great, staff were great and we felt very comfortable ❤️ I would go here again with adults only xx

Fabulous food that was worth the price

Ordered take away spent £50 they missed items off that I ordered came back with them and still missed more again ! Not impressed and food was very mediocre...won't be ordering again.

What little food there was hot but the quantity was poor very highly priced £11.90 Childs menu (sausage and chips £11.90 + small scoop ice cream) I just felt we were being rushed and when the main meals came very little had to search for the pieces of chicken etc very disappointed as this occasion was for a birthday treat. I don’t mind paying for a good service/food etc but I will not be going there again

Well the 'Rooneys' dined tonight at this fabulous restaurant..and we can't recommend it enough, eaten in many places, but this was just lovely..fantastic food, unbelievablely good service, nothing to much trouble and a relaxed atmosphere, we will definitely be going back soon..an absolute gem....thank you guys for a great night...

Come in 4 58 and was turfed out told to take bill by a very abrupt member of staff at 6 55 i understand that they need the table back for the next people but felt rushed along so much so i had only drank half my bottle of prosecco and had to walk home with the other half one woman in there is bloodey ignorant and has no customer service skills at all the guys were nice pooring my wine hovering a bit but at least polite ive been coming to this resturant for years and years and never had such poor customer service given how long we were in charged 150 pounds kids charged full adult price each and my son only had a bowl of chips and noodles both kids same age so 4 of us cost 80 quid for all you can eat but rushed out ... food was nice but i dont go out often and feel let down and wont be back and i know others feel same since its been took over standards have dropped massively disappointed given how much we used to love place and how hard i worked for 150 pound for little time or politeness just a number now rushed in and out no more niceness or chat like the olden days in there shame ...

£19.9 All you eat banquet! Great value of money! Very friendly staff and efficient service. All dishes are delicious, I especially love the prawn toast and sweet n sour pork HK style. Leave with a super full almost bursting belly! Highly recommend everyone who wants to have a taste of Chinese food at a very reasonable price!!!

First experience was a take away for Chinese new year last night. The food was so tasty, fresh and piping hot despite being a takeaway for delivery. We are going to book to visit the restaurant for my dad’s birthday in a few weeks now.

Dined in for all you can eat at £20 per adult. Food is ordered via waiting staff then cooked fresh and delivered quickly and piping hot (not a buffet where dishes get cross-contaminated and sauce is spilled everywhere!). Service is amazing and staff are really friendly. Will definitely return. Thanks

Wednesday 11th January at 7pm table-This restaurant is amazing, the food came out fast and all you can eat amazing price and was with good company. The staff were lovely and friendly. I have no complaints and would definitely return. Thank you. 🙂
