FullHouse Chinese Restaurant in Wirral

Had a meal in the restaurant once and a takeaway from here twice. Ordered a takeaway last night for delivery to a friend's in Stanley Road. Food arrived within 1/2 hour and was piping hot and really good. Had crispy duck and pancakes, beef and blackbean sauce and chicken satay. The meat is so tender and all dishes I've tried have been very tasty.

Only diners at lunchtime..hence the low atmosphere mark...food was absolutely spot on..definitely will be returning

A great restaurant and takeaway ! The food is always hot and delicious. Great selection to choose from, my personal favourite is the mixed king prawn. All the staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. With adequate & comfortably spaced seating alongside the lighting and decor, this is a relaxing place to enjoy a light meal or a full banquet. Cobra and other larger available on tap plus a healthy selection of spirits and soft drinks. The toilets are always clean and fresh. Located within a minute of both bus stops and Hoylake train station it’s easily accessible and wheelchair friendly. There is also plenty of parking spaces if you’re travelling by car. I would definitely recommend visiting and seeing for yourself.

Both dine-in and takeout are very good - extremely tasty and well prepared meals, prices are reasonable for quality and quantity. Recommend.

Enjoyed it here,lovely ambiance with good modern style interior. We were spoilt by the lovely owner. She even offered me Oolong tea from her own personal stock. Dimsum was of good quality, came out piping hot and delicious. Would certainly recommend here and will be returning.

Very disappointing. Stay away from here if you want to avoid getting misguided and not given the full array of food that you PAID for. As we were choosing the food from the menu, we were discussing with a waitress what would be ideal. We were discussing about an ideal banquet to feed 6 people (mind you, there are 2 kids with us and obviously 1 banquet is too much to feed 1 child). We were all thinking 4 BANQUETS. As soon as we got the receipt, they charged us for 6 banquets. We asked the waitress about why they charged us for 6 banquets when 6 banquets never came out of anyone’s mouths. The waitress who checked the receipt seemed rude and kept on saying that we asked for 6 banquets. We all thought that was odd as we never mentioned that. ALSO, they never gave us all our vanilla ice cream desserts (6 desserts which were included in the 6 banquets). They basically ripped us off and charged us for food that we never got and absolutely took advantage of us. I also noticed that they never gave us our receipt back, which is absolutely ridiculous given that we wanted to complain about the service. The next day we spoke to that same lady who seemed very rude on the phone. She said that we booked late (we booked at 8:30pm) at the restaurant and that was why they never gave us dessert - how absurd and ridiculous is that?! There was no apologies from their side and they said to go ahead with the complaint and here I am. What a service.

Can honestly say, nicest chinese I've had in a long time. Had banquet with a extra portion of salt & pepper 🌶 chip. Every course was faultless. Hot & sour soup nicest l've ever had. Portion size was massive too. Only grumble was cost of pint of beer. Thank you and will be back.

I can't really review this one as we went for Chinese new year the place was busy although they fitted the 7 of us in 4 adults 2 children and one tyrant tot food was great and when they had chance staff attentive

Excellent chinese food served by very friendly staff in a nice quiet atmosphere. Once visited you will be back...the Banquet meals for 2/3 or 4 people are very good value and tastes wonderful! Thankyou to all the lovely staff.

We had a lovely meal here at the weekend. The service was excellent, the staff were welcoming, polite and served us quickly. The food was very tasty and freshly cooked. The seating was fine and the restaurant was warm and welcoming on a cold night. This was our 3rd visit since we moved to the area. We would certainly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be back.

Still hungry expensive if you eat a banquet should you be full ? If I have a banquet I want something outside the box not boring curry beef and sweet and sour ....impress me to make me want to go back or give me alternatives...nothing wrong with the food cooked by the way its just we/you need more these days to survive

I had ordered a curry like meal. I thought that the bottom of it was chicken and it was mushrooms when i had been told there was no mushrooms. The whole meal tasted like dirty swimming water.

The food is seriously good at the FH. We eat here about every 6 weeks. A great choice of Dimsum dishes. A big thumbs up for the char Sui won ton noodle soup it is so tasty. Leanne and the staff provide excellent customer service.See you soon.

This is the best Chinese food I have tasted in a long time. Excellent service and great customer care. The liquor coffee is to die for and the best I have tasted in over 30 years. No squirty cream used here, but the real thing. Excellent night out and certainly our "go to" Chinese Restaurant, even though it means taking the train! Thank you guys and girls. X

Rip off. 45 mins between soup and mains. Starter of 2 ribs and 1 prawn toast per person £20 per person. Rubbish service. Rude when asked for bill. Less expensive places in Hoylake doing better Chinese

Lovely quiet atmosphere with lovely food

Went with friends on a saturday night. One of us is a vegetarian. The choice was brilliant for all of us. The food was excellent and we could finish it! The staff were friendly and very helpful. Would go again for sure. Thank you.

Fantastic venue for my daughter's birthday. Staff were really helpful and were happy to present her cake at the table following the meal. The food was exceptional and enjoyed in a warm atmosphere. Great take away food. One of the best take out meals we have had in a long time. We thoroughly enjoyed chinese sweet and sour, friend rice, bean sprouts, egg fu Yong. Quick service too.

How refreshing to find a Chinese restaurant away from the big cities that is open 7 days a week from 12 noon. Great restaurant, friendly hostess and really good traditional Chinese Food at affordable prices. And the food is presented very nicely. The restaurant has that old fashioned vibe which is charming and is very clean and bright. There is a very extensive menu (all tastes catered for) and the "Early Bird" menu is super. Right opposite Hoylake Merseyrail Station ..... so easy to find.

Worst Chinese restaurant we have ever been too. Felt like I was sat in a pink canteen. Food presentation unappetising. Nothing tasted fresh. Overpriced for what we were given. Won’t be returning.

Came for a meal on my own, I was treated respectfully, had a nice time, I wasn’t rushed at any time and I enjoyed my meal, the food was hot and fresh and cant complain whatsoever

We ordered a take away and requested it to be delivered. We were told it would be 50 mins before it arrived. It eventually turned up 2 hours later. Won’t make that mistake again.

Was seated right underneath the aircon which was blowing out hot air which was way too hot! The table next to us obviously agreed as they were taking off layers! Asked if they could turn it down which they did… When taking our order waitress coughed over us without covering her mouth and watched her doing it as she was walking around the restaurant… disgusting! the main issue was ordered vegetarian spring rolls and i foolishly bit into them without checking first… mouth full of meat bleeeeurghhh! Waited for ages to get waitress attention.. told her they had meat in.. wasn’t overly bothered but changed them… no money knocked off or good will gesture offered for the upset this caused me… will NOT be back!

First time going to this restaurant and will not be the last - food was lovely and staff very friendly and didn’t rush you between meals - one of us had allergies and they were very accommodating to ensure our food did not have the products allergic to in - establishment very clean - had a banquet and the food portions were very filling

I found the food superb, the staff were very attentive, overall a very experience, I will be going again. Price wise, it wasn’t bad at all for what I had.

Right from the point we sat down to the point of leaving we were treated very well by the staff. Food was fantastic from the soup, crispy duck, several starters and 3 well cooked and very tasty main course dishes. Couldn’t have hoped for a better experience. My wife and lasted visited the same restaurant 20+ yrs ago. Possibly under another name can’t remember now….it’s a must if you like Chinese food. Great prices too!

First and last visit!! Went for early bird menu didn’t think I had to eat like one.Smallest spring roll and two of the smallest prawn toast I have ever seen.Our main meals tasted ok but small portions we have actually come home and made some food!! Not huge eaters but like to think after paying for a meal we would be satisfied unfortunately this was not the case tonight (

Once again an excellent meal 😋 Everything was first class. 😋 We travelled from Prestatyn in North Wales and it's well worth eating in this restaurant.

Pricey food for what class served.

Went for a family meal, 4 of us. Service was excellent, warm welcome, offered drinks just after sitting down. Order taken, soon after. Great range of dishes, very good value. The food was delightful, we have been several times. We'll be going again, very soon, thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

Very average. Rice came first and was dished out on cold plates and had to wait several minutes for 3 of 4 meals but my fish arrived more than 5 minutes later, so rice was stone cold. Manager did replace the rice with fresh but not impressed generally.

Ate in here on Friday night with 3 friends and had a excellent meal. The ribs combination as a starter was especially good. Mains were also good and the service was excellent too.

Food is brilliant, however it can take a while if you're getting a takeaway can result in a bit of a wait. Preorder at least half hour before.

Had a lovely takeaway (banquet A) on new year's eve due to local lock down. All the dishes were very tasty. Very, very busy but ordered and supplied within 25 minutes so well done.

Fabulous food and great service. Take-away banquet ordered for a family birthday and it was even better than we had all hoped. Many thanks to everyone at the Full House restaurant. We will definitely order from you again and hope to be able to have a meal in the restaurant when all the current restrictions are finally ended!!

The best Chinese food on the Wirral! We live in Heswall but don’t mind the distance - the food is too good, the prices are very reasonable and the owners are a delight. What more can one ask for?

After a rocky start following some poor communications, the restaurant came good with friendly service from staff all wearing face masks. Tables well distanced and sanitiser on entry. We chose a starter selection, with sesame prawn toast, chicken, pork ribs, spring roll and prawn dish. These were all very tasty, accompanied by Chinese tea. The mains of prawn in a ginger spring onion sauce and lemon chicken served with egg fried rice hit the spot. All in all, a very good and enjoyable meal out. Will be back and might even try their early evening lobster special next time around.
