The food servings were good but the quality isn’t. We had the wonton noodle soup and it was bland. The king prawn fried rice was 2/5 stars, if it wasn’t for the prawns it will be tasteless. The food is lacking of authentic Chinese flavours. Additionally, upon payment, we explicitly stated that we were not contributing to the discretionary gratuity. However, they still charged an additional amount.

If you like crispy noodles (I like mine with char siu pork), this is the best place to come. I've had a lot of crispy noodles in my life and since finding this place, I will not go anywhere else if I am in central London. Service is quick and efficient (pleasantries are kept to a minimum, which I actually like). The decor is a little dated, but I'm here for the food.

We went here for a family supper, the soup dumplings were amazing. The chicken and ribs we had too were tasty and the fried rice spectacular. The restaurant was very busy but the service was good and fast. Watching the dumplings being made was a learning experience as well.

Owner extremely rude - We were coming in for food (was completely empty) and it was raining. We stood at the door, and he said "You cant stand here" We tried to explain we were just looking at the menu, and he told us he didnt care and that we were blocking the enterance! Keep it mind, it was EMPTY! Can see why, what an awful owner - Learn some hospitality you rude little man.

Me and my family at first had 2 starters: prawn toast and salt and peppered spare ribs which both were very nice as the toast was nice and crunchy with still being rich in flavour as well as the ribs which were extremely delicious. We then had the main course meals which were: sweet and sour chicken, deep fried battered chicken in lemon sauce, beef satay + kung pao and chicken with cashew nuts. The sweet and sour my daughter had, had a very rich taste. The battered chicken, my son says, was also very zesty tasting as well as being crunchy. Moreover, the chicken with cashew nuts was fantastic: especially the pepper's which were beautiful when paired with the sauce. Lastly the beef satay my husband had said it was very tasty. The service was exceptional because the main server/ waiter was brilliant at his job as he answered any questions that we had very efficiently and concisely telling us exactly what was included in the meals.

Having read other reviews was expecting something a bit special, instead experienced a culinary disaster. Ordered the seaweed salad, crispy fried chicken and king prawns and then pork wonton in hot broth. The seaweed was close to inedible, slimy and covered in raw garlic. Only one taste and that was the garlic, we left it after a couple of bites, even the Chinese lady sitting next to us could only manage a mouthful. The fried food was poor, the batter dominated, and left the prawns dry. The wontons were passable but the broth had no flavour and seasoning, just an insipid liquid with chopped spring onions/chives. Best advice keep on walking, plenty of much better restaurants in Chinatown.

We'd eaten here on several occasions in the past when the restaurant was known by another name. Unfortunately, it's not as good as we found previously and there are plenty of other options to choose from. We found the food to be quite bland and under seasoned.
