The best restaurants serving Chinese food in St James's City of London, Westminster London

Food was good but the service was very poor. Staff clearly trained to get you in, fed and out within your 1.5 hour slot. Also quite rude. Furthermore I did not like them taking £10.00per person deposit from your card at the time of booking ! This was a good venue but seems to have gone downhill.

Food is amazing, especially if you like spicy food. Probably the best one that I have tried in Chinatown.

Tao Tao Ju is a lively, busy restaurant – there's a lot going on here! Many large groups, especially younger people, create a high-energy atmosphere. The food was delicious, more hearty than light or healthy, but absolutely delicious. If you're looking for authentic, hearty cuisine in a convivial atmosphere, this is the place to be. It was definitely fun – four stars!

Second time been here, whilst visiting London, and really like this cocktail bar. Does quirky and well thought out drink. Like that the menu changes so we could try something different each time. Partner and I got two drinks each. All 4 were delicious. The frosty was probably one of the best drinks I’ve had in years. Very attentive and quick service. Nice atmosphere

Food quality is fresh, Staffs are very kind. But there’s many extra charges for example .. basic source, garlic, etc. So you actually need to pay more than only unlimited hotpot.

Nos mostraron nuestra mesa, dado el menú entonces el servicio se detuvo. . . fue tan lento. . esperó 15 minutos y luego salió. . . . . .

Tuve un almuerzo Dim Sum en este restaurante con mi esposa para celebrar mi cumpleaños. La comida y el servicio eran excelentes, y el sumiller muy servicial. Incluso lograron un pequeño postre de cortesía con una vela para mi cumpleaños. Con todo, una gran experiencia y sin duda volveremos. Tal vez no es barato, pero pensé que los precios eran justos dada la calidad de la comida y la ubicación central de Londres.

Nous y avons mangé avec ma fille. Un accueil très chaleureux par du personnel souriant et très agréable. Au moment du choix des plats et en réponse à mon incompréhension pour un plat le serveur à rechercher des photos sur internet afin de m'expliquer. Prix correct pour Londres.

Gab and Vivien's service second to none -always felt welcomed when we come out for a get together or evening meal. We did not make any reservation but was given a table . A shame we didn't get to have the lobster dish but Gab was able to recommend some other dishes which was very tasty.

Queríamos un auténtico té de leche estilo HKG y tuvimos una gran decepción en Café TPT para el almuerzo, así que pensamos en darle una oportunidad a Los Ocho. Solo sacamos el té y se hizo en casa y sabía mucho mejor que el té con leche de Café TPT. El té de leche de los Ocho es 5. 80 libras que nos pareció un poco caro, pero supongo que son los precios de Londres. El servicio era muy bueno y no me cobraron un cargo por hacer el té para llevar. La próxima vez que volvamos a Londres, iremos a almorzar a The Eight y probaremos su auténtica cocina estilo Hong Kong como dicen.

Nos gustó mucho el aspecto del conjunto menú vegetariano y decidí probar.La sopa caliente y amarga no estaba mal pero sólo tibio, plato de degustación de tofu y rollos primavera algas estaba bien, pero no era nada especial y vino sin salsas así que era bastante seco.Los platos principales consistía en 2 tipos de platos de hongos con verduras brécol y estacional, picante berenjenas, dulce y amarga ayer y un arroz mixto plato .Fue agradable pero nada especial , bebidas bien y el servicio era frío y no muy amable.El menú del día por 2 era £16,80 cada uno, lo cual no era barato en comparación con la mayoría de Chinatown, intentaría en otro lugar la próxima vez.
