Customer service is really bad. The lady who served us was very rude. Food taste horrible. We had only the soup and the rice, the crispy pork was really bad. Couldn't eat it at all. Will never come back to this place, waste of money.

One of the best hot pot places in the UK, halal options available, friendly staff, a nice vibe and quite spacious. First time trying hot pot and it did not disappoint, the clear and spicy half half broth was good and the buffet makes sure you leave full. The premium beef was especially good. Price was reasonable for what it is, it's the sort of thing I would do on special occasions so happy to spend a bit more. Also, a small detail that I think many places overlook was how cold the soft drinks were. The can came ice cold as if it was kept in a freezer, perfect in combination with hot pot, I had to order another.

One of the top spot for hot pot special that it has halal menu top quality ingredients and many varieties of type of vegetables, proteins, noodles and different type of soup base . The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating there is plenty of space

Very good BBQ in Chinatown!! Would recommend!!

I came here with a group of friends. The server we had did not really understand what I was trying to ask about the food before ordering which made it difficult to communicate.The menus outside is different for the halal menu to what was inside so I couldn’t even get the meal I wanted to have when sat down looking at the actual menus (also with altered prices to outside the restarting). I just had to resort to going for the veg meal offered since the waitress couldn’t really get what I was asking. I ordered the stir fried green beans for 15 pounds. The order came and was just a plate of green beans… FOR FIFTEEN POUNDS. I was just shocked and had to resort to sharing some of my friends’ food. I also tried to ask the waitress about the noodles and if they could alter the ingredients and she didn’t know what I was saying. They should not be leaving a false impression of a stir fry for fifteen pounds and rob me of a meal. Bearing in mind a plate of green beans was the most expensive thing we got compared to full bowls of noodles. Absolutely ridiculous will not come here again and I don’t recommend.

The kebabs are very unique and I will go home in a second. Especially the mutton kebabs are very delicious and highly recommended.

Unexpectedly, the flavor restaurant actually held a barbecue buffet event! There are many types of skewers, the meat is fresh and tender, and the seasonings are just right. Highly recommended! !

We tried the all you can eat bbq set today. Love the bbq skewers especially the lamb and beef, very flavorful and well marinated with different spices! Can adjust spicy level if needed I think. High value with £32 pp me and my friend were super full and satisfied :)

I visited this Chinatown gem after seeing Zhang Linghe's recommendation, and it did not disappoint! The restaurant offers an expanded menu with hot pot, Beijing-style copper pot, grilled fish, barbecue, and various stir-fried dishes. We ordered a variety of dishes, spending under £90 for a feast. The highlights were the Mouthwatering Chicken, Mao Xue Wang, Kung Pao Chicken, and Lamb Skewers. Each dish was flavorful and delicious, making it a highly satisfying dining experience. Zhang Linghe's recommendation was spot on!

Tried the grilled spicy fish and meat noodles. The fish was very dried and not tasty ad I ate in China and other Chinese restaurants. The meat noodles were fine. Overall the food was not fresh and tasty and a bit expensive.

Recommended by a friend, but a few of the dishes were disappointing... The tomato beef brisket is all tomato sauce, and the tomatoes are not stewed...

Quite rubbish service attitude. The restaurant I arrived at first, I had already asked the waiter to order. When the waiter saw the foreigners, he immediately walked over and told them the menu. After finally finishing talking, a group of six people came over to my place. They immediately left my table and went to explain the menu to them. extremely snobbish

Decent halal hotpot restaurant but choices were a bit small. The food was delicious however and I felt like the employees did not ignore our needs. We were serviced well and got everything we needed. One thing is that the temperature adjuster did not really work sometimes and it gets a bit hot in there. Sometimes hotpot restaurants have like fans to pull the heat vapour but they didn’t so it got humid. Also this has nothing to do with the restaurant but this one table kept staring at us heavyyyy it was weird but I loved this place. Try it out cause it’s halal and anyone who accommodates me deserves the world

The pot dumplings are so sweet...the eggplants from Disanxian are so hard...the Arctic Ocean is like water.

Friendly service team, tasty and varied food options, and a good atmosphere. They have a great selection of freshly-barbecued skewers which are great for sharing. Also the ‘guo bao rou’ is a must-order - fried pork with a sweet, sticky sauce. Great spot in the heart of Chinatown.

The Guobao Pork is my favorite old-fashioned Guobao Pork with Scallions and Ginger! 🌶️Spicy and sour kidney slices are a must-try if you love spicy and sour food! The sauce is really flavorful, and the kidneys are fried very tender. It goes well with rice🍚I ordered some vegetables🥬Vermicelli and cabbage are also good with rice.

I’ve been looking for a halal hotpot for a very long time I managed to find this one and it was very nice a little bit pricy but you can eat as much as u want obviously I won’t recommend going if you don’t eat much as you won’t get your money worth of food , as for the broth I would highly recommend the mushroom one

I recently went to the Real Beijing. I did not book inadvance and it was pretty quiet. I ordered the halal hot pot and I loved the food very much! The service was great. I didn't enjoy or feel comfortable when sat down. No leg space under the tables which resulted in a knee pain. Apart from the sitting issue everything else was great. Not suitable for anyone who struggles to climb stairs or needs leg room to sit comfortably and eat.

DO NOT COME HERE!! I had hotpot yesterday with a friend and we were absolutely shocked. Besides paying 32.80 per head for it the food was absolutely disgusting. The meats tasted like plastic and were very chewy indicating that they weren’t fresh even the vegetables were stale and the fish had a weird taste to it. The broths had no taste at all!! We also had to order 2 sauces which were an extra £2 each to try to give it some taste but oh my not even the sauces were nice. The cutlery was also dirty, full of dust. The toilets were also miserable! Pee all over the toilet like?? I promise you, you are much better off eating at New China 2 minutes from them. Cheaper and much much better.

The pot roast is sweet and sour and crispy, especially tasty, every bite makes you love it hard, the texture is especially delicious 😋

The place it is not the nicest. But the food it was pretty good. I went for the charcoal hot pot. I thought it was amazing the serving pan with the charcoal burning in the middle. The hot pot (chicken) had an amazing taste. Got veggies, noodles and meat to add. Definitely an amazing meal

There are very few options for a halal menu for hot pot in London, @realbeijing_london being one of them. The halal set menu consisted of a myriad of options from sea food to poultry to red meat and vegetables/mushrooms to choose from. The broth we chose were half and half i.e., half of spicy flavour and the other half mild. I now feel I could've done with only spicy one as the other was too bland for my taste. Having a hot pot after years brought back some college memories of chilly winter days. Overall I'd rate the food as 3.5/5 Service was a big disappointment at 2/5 Ambience 3/5 Set menu price 30 pp ( tad too much)

This is a Chinese restaurant full of love, the first experience of Chinese restaurant came here and it was very delicious! I love the spicy Mao Blood Wanton here, it made me fall in love with Chinese food, also the BBQ here is very special, I recommend the Grilled Beef Skewers, my husband ate 10 skewers in one sitting, it was a perfect dining experience!

The same restaurant as Zhang Linghe! The dishes are really beyond my expectation. I highly recommend the twice-cooked pork and stir-fried vermicelli with cabbage. I went back to China in a second and it is so delicious! The barbecue is also super delicious. Currently, it ranks first in my mind as a Chinese restaurant for bringing foreign friends. Lovely place which does a buffet hotpot as well as standard dining option. The staff are very attentive and helpful and will recommend items based on dietary needs. Unlike a regular buffet where you can see the food and choose it yourself, here you have to tick the items off a sheet and the staff will bring it to your table. The decor is basic and has more of a homely 90s vibe, quite cosy on a rainy day though dark. The Sichuan peppercorn hotpot base seemed a bit mild compared to other places and the taste of the peppercorns were not as strong

I had the beef offal gong hot pot. It was really good. You can eat all you want in the hot pot, which is suitable for my husband. The waiter was very nice and kept asking me if I wanted to add more vegetables. I was too full.

Amazing place for northern / northeastern Chinese cuisine - and apparently beef offals hotpot as well! Using the traditional charcoal bronze pot from Beijing, it is sure to be an authentic experience, especially on a cold day. They also brought out pickled garlic with the dipping sauce set, which is a typical northern side dish that comes with hotpot and a very nice touch, unseen in other hotpot places in London. The beef offal portion was quite generous and the dishes we ordered were fresh and delicious. Highly recommend!

I’ll give a solid five stars for the fabulous service we have. We were served by a tall guy in the hot pot area, who was really nice and sweet.

Our dining experience was truly unpleasant and our issue was handled in inappropriate manner. Here's the story: My girlfriend and I had the dinner here on 5th of May, Saturday evening. We ordered some foods, including two chicken hearts BBQ skew. The first bite was very tender, unlike most of the chicken heart. Then my girlfriend took one piece of it and notice that in the middle it's still pink and not cooked through. We then asked the waiter if it's normal. She said sorry and they will bring us another two skews that will be cooked thoroughly. However, we waited for another 30 mins to get the new one, while the restaurant was not busy at all ( only 3 groups of customer in the restaurant, not more than 10 people). We even asked at the very first 10 minutes that if it's possible to ask for refund for the chicken heart if it takes that long to prepare, since we were already tired after a long day and want to go back to hotel to rest. The waiter kept insisting that it is coming in couple minutes, and indirectly rejected our request for refund. It felt we were kidnapped in a sense that we sat there for almost 30 minutes for 2 skews. The new skew was not even fully cooked ( 1 to 2 pieces were still pink inside). When we asked for the bill, they did take the chicken heart out, however we did not find it sincere. The staff was not rude, but also not really feel sorry about the serious mistake they made. We were sitting there for half an hour, exhausted and disgusted. That night I waked up several times with very serious stomach ache. Basically I did not sleep at all that night. The overall dining experience was terrible and will definitely not recommend anyone to come this restaurant 👎

Still dreaming about yesterday’s dinner! Great attentive service. The food was SO tasty and authentic. The beef was so so tender and the broth so hearty. Definitely an underrated spot. Can’t wait to be back. I do wish there were a bit more halal options and appetisers. Such as dim sum etc. Nonetheless, still very happy with what we ordered.

Unfortunately we did not have a great experience here. My son showed me the instagram video for this place and knew we wanted to try it. We chose the tomato broth and spicy 1, which was too spicy and salty and we can handle spice but it was over done. The whole cook it yourself is definitely overrated for families as your spending most of your time sorting the kids. Overall it was overpriced and I wouldn't really recommend unless going as a group of friends

First time trying copper pot shabu shabu in London The soup base was upgraded to beef offal pot for free🍲. It gave us a lot of beef offal, beef tendon and brisket, which is suitable for everyone to eat together. The copper pot is really cooked with charcoal fire, which is a great experience👍 The beef and mutton rolls are fresh and the portions are very sufficient. The sesame sauce is delicious. You must order it. The fish and shrimp are very fresh and the Cantonese sauce meat is delicious and sweet. The vegetables are washed very clean. I like yams and mushrooms. The key point is that the service at this restaurant is very good. We reordered the dishes twice and he smiled the whole time. The boss even came to ask us if we wanted to add the dishes. It was a very good buffet experience.

The copper pot buffet is delicious. In the near future, it can be upgraded to a beef offal soup base for free. The soup base is fresh and sweet and you can drink it directly. I am very happy. The beef and mutton rolls are huge and you can show off. The fish, shrimp and other seafood offal are very fresh. I like the white radish, mushrooms and yam. They are 100% suitable for the bottom of the pot. The waiter is also very friendly and is online the whole time. The plum juice is also delicious!

This restaurant should be visited by everyone who wants to eat deliciously, but also to see how they communicate with children. the owner was so nice, played with the child, willingly took pictures and asked if there was anything missing. I will recommend to everyone.

Authentic Beijing hotpot. This is nothing like any other hotpot in London, the soup base is clear and not heavy. The recent beef entrails soup base promotion is ace. You can upgrade your soup base to beef entrails for free. The meat is so tender. Highly recommended

This is my unmistakable "canteen" in London's Chinatown for so many years. The northern cuisine is very authentic, and the barbecue is a must-try. The offal shabu-shabu is also very suitable. The all-you-can-eat hot pot includes a lot of mussel prawns. High-end ingredients such as cuttlefish, yellow throat and black hairy tripe. Highly recommended!

The atmosphere was cosy and we were sent upstairs for the halal hotpot. We went for the tomato broth and the clear broth. it was bottomless and we just kept ordering all kinds of seafood, veggies, noodles and meats till we couldn’t eat anymore, I also got chilli oil on the side and my friend got the soy sauce with chopped chilies. They tasted really good. At times it took them awhile to get to us, but it wasn’t really that bad. The food was delicious and I’m definitely going back.

Best Halal hotpot in London! For £30, you get unlimited halal hotpot for around 2 hours. All the meats are halal. The broths were soooooo delicious (especially the chilli one). The vegetables and sauces were all great accompaniments to the food. If your looking for halal hotpot, than look no further!!

The last time I visited we ordered the ayce hotpot with 2 soup base: Mushroom and Tomato base as this was the only halal/vegetarian option. With the ayce hotpot you are given a menu and you tick off what you would like as well as being given a small cooker in the middle to boil the soup. At first it seemed amazing, but after a few bites it's noticeable that the flavour does become repetitive. Only then it kind of becomes quantity over quality. Most of the items we ordered did taste prepackaged, for example the beef/lamb slices had this artificial taste that stuck to our tongue. The chicken slice was what disgusted me. After boiling it you would expect it to cook and become a bit harder, so that when you bit into it it can shred properly. However, after boiling the chicken slices, the texture resembled hard jelly. Even after leaving the 1cm slices of chicken to boil for over 30 minutes, the texture never changed. So that was never touched again. In general if you're in a group and you would like to dine outdoor, maybe for a quiet evening then sure the hotpot is a great idea. But flavour wise not the best.

Apart from the beginning which took some time for someone to approach me to be seated, the service and food was exceptional! The food was fresh and hot, full of flavour and they made sure to check in to make sure everything was good. The only down side was the table I was sat at, was very much to the side and cramped, it was hard to fit all the food on the table (one starter, two bowls of food and drinks) and I couldn’t eat as comfortably because I was right next to the window/wall. They have a separate halal menu also.
