Lovely little restaurant with attentive staff and very good food.

I’ve never really experienced a Chinese meal quite like it, I’m in my fifties and have eaten A LOT of British Chinese food…and this might be only my second ever bad review that I’ve been compelled to write. If I hadn’t actually gone in and ordered the food myself I would never had believed it had come from a Chinese restaurant. The egg fried rice had never seen the inside of a wok, it was anemic, cold, soggy and utterly tasteless. It was basically unseasoned boiled rice with a tiny bit of unseasoned cold scrambled egg in it…absolutely unforgivable. The pork was was once again unseasoned and completely without flavour, some of the balls were hot and some were not, it tasted like a dish that had been cooked, frozen and then reheated. The sweet and sour sauce was thin, watery, unseasoned (once again) and a tepid temperature, I asked for some green chilli to be put in the sauce, which they did, but somehow managed to burn them to an acid unpleasant crispness. There’s more to say but I don’t have the energy for such negativity! Fundamentally, it was tasteless reheated rubbish. There was one nice plus point, I was given a free 2025 calendar.

Our local takeaway of choice - and we have several to choose. Good food, wide variety; beware of the waiting at peak times - the deliveries and phone orders will fly out of the door while you’re standing (or sitting) waiting.

On this occasion poor service just been discharged from. Hospital stopped to get food on way home only to get to scarning and find they've forgotten the chips,best offer they could make was for us to drive back or refund it suggested they could get someone to drop them off what with us being regulars but not an option and hung up on me.

Good choice on the menu with plenty of vegetarian options! Pleasant staff who are polite and can help you choose! Sunday to Thursday is a set price menu, Friday and Saturday is a normal menu.

Decent but under spiced takeaway in my opinion. Rice was a bit hard. Chicken Satay a little bland. Chicken chow mean needed more dark soy, black bean not spicy. We did eat early so maybe that was why as we'd heard good things about this takeaway.

Started using these this year and not had a bad meal yet, the kids who are quite fussy enjoy the food, portion sizes are good, not overall greasy, curry sauce is one of the best we've had. Quite a basic menu but everything you need from a chippy

Hadn't been before but this restaurant was so good. We had the all you can eat buffet at £25 per head, the choice of starters was great and freshly cooked as were the mains and so much choice. Good sized portions and the lady who served us was so knowledgeable and helpful. Would we go again ?? a big YES. Thank you for a lovely evening
