Kowloon House in Breckland

Decent but under spiced takeaway in my opinion. Rice was a bit hard. Chicken Satay a little bland. Chicken chow mean needed more dark soy, black bean not spicy. We did eat early so maybe that was why as we'd heard good things about this takeaway.

Our first time using Kowloon for a birthday takeaway and we shall not be returning. Very disappointed. Large helpings but poor quality and lacking in flavour. Would have preferred smaller helpings of higher quality. House Special Fried Rice was totally unacceptable and appeared to contain miscellaneous leftovers, not all identifiable.

I live in a nearby village and was keen to try this place as have heard several good reports. I tried on 6 occasions over around 40 mins on a Friday 17th November to phone in an order to be picked up. Each time I got a message saying ' we are not taking messages' So I drove the 5 miles to be told at least 1 hour wait. I am happy these guys are doing well but a suitable phone message-or heaven forbid someone to answer the phone would have saved me an unnecessary drive out. Will never go again.

Great food, staff and price. Always on time, hot and very tasty- best Chinese takeaway in the area.

We have lived in the village for a number of years, but for whatever reason had never been here before. Having take away food is not the norm for us at all as I usually cook from scratch each night. However after rather a long drive back home yesterday I didn't really fancy cooking tonight, hence the takeaway. It was marvelous, ready in 30 mins after phoning the order in and they take cards, even better. Lovely flavours, brilliantly hot, very tasty and a good price. Highly recommend it and we look forward to going again. If you've not tried it yet, you must.
