Best Salt & Chilli spare ribs was great .. best we every had And also the Malaysian Fried Rice.

Good was super late when I went a good 40 minutes extra wait than what they said

Felt a little rushed on ordering. One of the dishes was wrong but couldn't be asked to take it back or the rest would have been spoiled.....wish I had as I couldn't eat it. Fried rice looked awful so didn't eat it. My husband left a fair bit of his. Scored 2 stars as the soup was lovely and they gave us prawn crackers. Redeeming feature was the food was all piping hot. The waiting area had loose paint above the counter where it looks like they took the plastic down after Covid regs. Some areas between floor and walls was visibly dirty.

I went to Great China and had the best takeaway ever. I had egg rice, spring rolls and prawn crackers, absolutely delicious. I definitely recommend this place as it has a great selection of food and very tasty.

My family and I had take out from this wonderful business. The food was amazing. the portion sizes were very generous. Lots of different flavours, all of which were great! I highly recommend you try this restaurant, especially the dumplings.

Ask for no vegetables in my and I was delivered rice with vegetables so I ended up with half of tub of rice as the rest when in the bin

First time ordering here since moving into watton. Was ready in 10-15 mins for collection. Great service from lady over the phone, great prices and delicious tasting food!!

This is my go to Chinese takeaway, generally very busy. Chicken with cashew nuts and yellow bean sauce is a favourite ! Food always good and fresh. Stays warm in its containers to get it home.

Piss poor customer service bad staff attitude

Called in to order special set dinner A1 and A2 with chips and it was wonderful.Satisfied my Chinese food craving with out a doubt.The chicken curry and beef chop Suey were the highlight of the show!!!Its a must try.I told them to make it extra spicy hence it hit all the right spot for me.The yung chow fried rice was very good as well.Also the portion was very generous for one person.10/10 for me I will definitely be coming back for more.

The worst chicken chow mien I’ve ever had! Pre cooked and then warmed up soggy packet chicken in a dry, flavourless MSG filled container. Bland, salty and the least authentic dish I’ve ever seen. If they can’t get this right, they can’t perfect any other fish. Terrible.

Great food. Wont go anywhere else. Service can be a bit slow but that is down to their popularity and volume of orders. LOVE IT.

Best Chinese in Watton, good food and reasonably priced

Nice food but expensive on some items. Best spare ribs ever, but there where expensive meals on the order missing which should never happen on a collection. Didn't and couldn't bother phoning up and complaining as we were a few miles away when we noticed food missing, couldn't be bothered. Woman taking orders behind the counter was as miserable as sin which put us right off going again as well. What a shame.

Best Chinese in Watton. Food is delicious and big portions. Is even better now they deliver. They do the nicest prawn toast.

Have family members who are new to the area and we gave this place a go and it was lovely! Great flavour, really quick delivery. Definitely will be the go-to chinese from now on for them! They only take cash for delivery so out of convenience it would be good to have a card option, but other than that would recommend for sure.

Moved back here . Used this Chinese 29 yrs ago every week! Hasn't changed. Still yummiest Chinese ever! Thanks guys.xx

I’m 53 and have tried hundreds of Chinese takeaways, this was by far the best I’ve ever had, very large portions, incredibly tasty, piping hot and just stunning. Both food and service second to none!

Never had a bad meal at Great China. Always hot and wholesome chinese to be had here. Nearly always on time ready to collect. Staff very cheerful.

We had sweet and sour pork balls last night from here and they were inedible. Big chunks of tough meat that you just couldn’t cut through with a knife, that I had to spit out as it was just fatty and chewy even looked disgusting when you pulled batter off on plate. Chicken and mushroom soup tasted nice but large chunks of chicken spoilt it ,should have been chopped a lot finer for a soup. Saving grace was the prawn chowmein that was ok. The last couple of times we have been disappointed with our takeaways from here but after last night will never use this takeaway again. It has gone really downhill as it use to be very good which is so disappointing

Great food as ever and my 'go to place' for a Chinese. Have absolutely no criticisms regarding the food but not accepting payment by card is now becoming more of an issue.

Food was OK but wasn't the best I've had but as your not spoilt for choice in watton I guess its good enough. Need to step up their bbq sauce game too.

So good, it took a while to get it but the food was great especially the dumplings and the beef and oyster over all had an amazing time, would go again

We have used Great China several times and always outstanding ...the best Chinese/Thai we've ever had ! Stunningly cooked, flavours amazing and hot, not greasy just perfect. Worth the drive & we are 8miles away. Shame it's not a restaurant ! This crew know how to create flavour & beyond... very happy 👍

A decent Chinese Takeaway, with a pretty standard menu. My personal order was prepared in timely manner, the food was hot and pretty tasty.

Amazing Chinese. Food was spot on. Staying down the road rang up and ordered over the phone. Ready in 25 mins. They only accept cash and collection only, no delivery or it would have been 5 stars

We get a takeaway a few times a year , the food has always been fantastic, we travel a bit and love to have a meal from here when we get home. Always busy there , Best to pick your meal up, prices are fair.

Our local takeaway of choice - and we have several to choose. Good food, wide variety; beware of the waiting at peak times - the deliveries and phone orders will fly out of the door while you’re standing (or sitting) waiting.

Food is great, but the waiting time is ridiculous, I had to wait 45 minutes for a pre ordered pick up meal

We always order from great china by far the best we have ever eaten and when you have fussy teenagers that only eat good food it is a win all round. Would highly recommend!!!!

This place is absolutely awful. I’ve been 3 times now and each time they have messed up my order, plus what I did eat was tasteless and cold ..... I will not be going back again.

Really disappointed. Waited two hours for delivery of food. Had guest who had come straight from work and it spoiled the evening. It would appear customers who ask for home delivery are put bottom of the pile. Will not use again.

It's the best place we find 4 Chinese food

I moved to this area a few months ago & have tried a few of the local Chinese takeaways with mixed results. But having tried Great China last night this will be the one I'll always use in the future. Tasty, good quality, & not too greasy. the correct order was ready at agreed time, & I have to say the sweet n sour king prawn balls were the best I've ever had, yummy.

Very disappointed the noodles in my house special chow mein were like uncooked bachelors super noodles, rubber chicken and ribs cremated first and last visit 😡😡😡

Food is ok if you like it greasy. We have had food from here on several occasions and it is getting worse so we will no longer be getting food again. One good thing i can say is food is hot when you get it

Need to train staff on telephone orders...food missing off order which was repeated several times on telephone and when spoke to manager basically said we didnt order it !! Know what was ordered aa had to tell person on telephone that specific item wanted twice !..customer service skills defiantly needed here ..food cold because order mucked up..

Popped in for a takeaway for the first time. Pleasant staff and not too long to wait considering it was 7-30 in the evening. Really was surprised by the quality of the food and the amount. This was by far the best chinese we have had since we moved to Watton 8 months ago.

First the address shown here is Thetford, it isn't, it is Watton. This is a consistently good take away. We only order the vegetarian options, so can't speak for the meat. There are several vegi options to choose from, alway very good.

Very quick delivery and only cost £2 to where I live. The prawns and noodles tastes great, so did the sweet and sour sauce and the chicken balls. Only down side is I did find a hair, to be honest it could have been mine, but I doubt it as it was mixed amongst the noodles. I would eat from here again, I just hope I don't find another hair. Food tasted great anyway.

Staff are really nice and polite, they are always helpful. The food is lovely and tastes great compared to other Chinese takeaways. Any dish that we or our friends have ordered has been good.

Ordered a takeaway for the first time at 7.30 Saturday night. It arrived by 8pm piping hot and absolutely huge. Could have fed the neighbours too! Two mains a rice and some noodles and two of us couldn't finish it. Free prawn crackers came too. Tasty hot and quick.£3 delivery charge and we are way out of Watton. Will definately order again, but less dishes although I don't think we ordered that much really.

This is by far the best Chinese in the area! The food is simply delicious and it never disappoints! I always order a chicken chow mein and it's simply perfection. The chicken is very good, the noodles are always tasty and the meal is never over loaded with gubbins unlike most take away places! The sauce is delicious and the vegetables are always cooked through. You get a very generous portion size and it's never too greasy or lacking in flavour. My partner orders the beef curry and again, perfection in a meal! The meat is very good, (unlike a lot of Chinese take ways in the area who seem to use very poor and unedible cuts of beef). The sauce itself is absolutely delicious, perfectly flavoured and exactly what you expect from a quality chinese. The rice is always good, the vegetables are yummy and cooked through and you get a very generous portion. Pile it all into a prawn cracker and it's Chinese heaven! The crackers are never soggy or distasteful, they are always crunchy, fresh and spot on. Somehow they manage to stay fresh for a few days after without going off! We live a few minutes away and our food usually turns up within the hour, there's never a problem and the delivery drivers are always very friendly. The price point is also good, definitely worth every penny!

If you like meals with chicken in them do not order from here, I had sweet and sour chicken Hong Kong style, chicken fried rice my husband had a chicken curry all ended up in the bin, never have I had such slimey funny colour fatty chicken in my life to be honest I really do not think it was chicken at all!!!

Best Chinese in watton... Delivery as well

We often have a chinese takeaway from here. We always ask that they don't use coloured peppers. This is never a problem. The food arrives hot and delicious. In 4 years that we have had food from here we have never been disappointed. Sadly we have very recently moved and so we are not sure whether they deliver to thisarea. This takeaway never disappoints us. We have several Chinese takeaways that are more local to us, but this one is by far the best and is worth the extra travelling. They also deliver; we live 7 miles away but they only charge a small fee for this, well worth it. They only deal in cash though, and that includes collecting from the shop, but conveniently there is a cash point just across the road.

Been using this takeaway since I moved to Watton. Never disappointed great food specially the crispy chilli beef. I like the fact that is a open kitchen and you can see the chefs cooking. Really clean. I will definitely use them again. Worth it to give a try. Keep the good work and the good chefs that you have now!

We used this takeaway when it first opened a few years ago and our meal was awful. Tonight our usual takeaway was closed so we thought we would try it again. Big mistake, we had chicken in black bean sauce and chicken chow mein. The Chicken was disgusting, if chicken at all. Slimy disgusting un edible. We had egg fried rice also which was quite nice but we will not be using this takeaway again and would not recommend it to anyone.

This is my go to chineese, great food and big portions for little money which is rare with take away restaurants, delivery times are fast and accurate if you ask for a specific time. Overall great restaurant, keep it up.

We tried this chinese as looked very popular.The staff seemed as though they just wanted to get home.The food that we had was not as good as you would expect from a busy place.Pherhaps the other parties were just interested in eating as much as than can for there money,we were there for good food!!!Would not recommend for a night out unless you wanted to over eat your way through the menu.
