The best restaurants serving Chinese food in England

Telephoned order through at 6.25 pm & was told that it would take 15- 20 mins for order to be ready. Order was not ready when I went to collect at 6.40 pm & was still waiting for order at 7pm. Politely asked why the delay as customers were placing orders at the counter & receiving theirs before me. Was told they were just doing mine & apologised. Think they had forgot to do my order. Eventually received my order at 7.10 pm a wait time of 45 mins. Was not happy. Would have been quicker to request a delivery from another Chinese which I will do in the future.

I would recommend the wok n rock as it has really good food especially the sweet and sour chicken and really friendly customer service and they cater for big groups as they catered very well for our table of 12 adults and 5 children , the service was 100% perfect and would just like to say thank you Hollie for everything you did to make mine and my families evening a really enjoyable experience I will be visiting again on my next visit from The Netherlands . I was looking for somewhere to eat, and the waitress greeted us at the door and warmly invited us in. She was very communicative in describing dishes and hospitable. Will certainly return.

I called in here for an evening snack and wasn't impressed. It wasn't very tasty and they use way to much plastic. There isn't any recycling bins in leysdown. Traditionally Chinese takeaways are served in foil containers, this helps to keep the food hot whilst walking back to our chalets. I won't be using this place again. Also I should add this building is very bare, not appealing at all.

Ordered half a duck. Very little meat on it. Salt and chilli chicken wasn’t very meaty. Sesame toast tasted of vinegar Chicken satay sticks were very small portions. Felt like we’d overpaid for the meal given what we’ve had elsewhere

Very small venue, but excellent food and service in every way. This is a staple restaurant for us and we have come to know the very caring staff in a personal way. Try them! :-)

Found this little gem not far from Church farm holiday park. Food was beautiful, big portions. Just delicious. Would 100% recommend

Daughter brought take away home and I had a chicken curry and some prawn crackers. Never had such tough chicken and the prawn crackers weren't crispy just hard. Will go back to Danny's Garden in future.

Picked up a buffet meal for 6 last night after our visit to the cinema the food was amazing and it was also probably the cleanest take away place I’ve ever been in.I’ve already looked at the menu to see what I’m having next time.

Only tried this as our go to Chinese is shut on a Tuesday. I've passed it before but never tried it. We got around £83 worth for the family. We ordered a various selection of items that everyone would like . The man who served me was nice and friendly . I did collect , I would have preferred delivery but they only do delivery via uber eats and I'm not prepared to pay and extra £1 on most dishes especially as I'm paying over £80 as it is . Food was ok , it was hot , there was plenty of it and the other family members ouldn't fault it . There was nothing wrong the food per se but I've had better in the area. There is a lamb in ginger dish I hadn't tried anywhere before and that was really nice. I save some for the next day and would get this again . Everyone else liked what they'd eaten.

Awful customer service bag split half way down the road food all over the floor and was told not their problem! Won’t be using again.

We have been coming here as a family for a long time. We are pleased with the welcoming atmosphere and the friendly service. They are always happy to see us and remember our names. We always get the salt and chilli prawns and the sweet and sour chicken (Cantonese style). We also love their curry sauce as it is too thin and watery and has lots of flavour.

We had a lovely Chinese from here just recently, I am from the area and it always smells nice. Only downside is that you have to wait long after being told how long to wait, but the food is great.
