Wok n Rock in Forest Heath

I would recommend the wok n rock as it has really good food especially the sweet and sour chicken and really friendly customer service and they cater for big groups as they catered very well for our table of 12 adults and 5 children , the service was 100% perfect and would just like to say thank you Hollie for everything you did to make mine and my families evening a really enjoyable experience I will be visiting again on my next visit from The Netherlands . By far the best Chinese food we’ve had in the area! We will definitely be back for more! We had about 5 dishes and each one was just as good as the next!

Went to eat at this restaurant many times. I found the staff accommodating, they have the best tofu + vegetarian dishes !

We have lived in lakenheath just over a year and some friends recommended this restaurant so we gave it a try and it was great,the food was hot and very tasty would defenantly come back waitress was very polite and nothing was to much trouble Thank you very much.

We stumbled upon this restaurant and were very glad we did. The food was delicious and the gentleman who served us was friendly and welcoming. Perfect on a cold January evening!

Find this restaurant thought friend recommendation. Went there when my partner and me near by lakenheath, friendly service, and I have to say it is the best I have tried in this area, will try their takeaway next time .

While visiting our kids, we ate here 3 of the 9 days of our stay. The first night was so good we went back the second night. We then visited again the night before our flight out. The food was fantastic! The service was good and the staff was very accommodating. We really appreciated the establishment flying the American flag. It’s shaming, when people in our own country have no respect our flag. Wok & Rock!

We had a lovely meal at wok and rock Chinese restaurant tonight. In lakenheath suffolk Food was hot and looked great. Staff were friendly and served in good time.

Didn’t have to sign in with track and trace when we got there. There was someone else’s mask on our table. Menus were dirty with curry sauce and crumbs. Staff was either on something or just delirious. We were the only ones in there (should’ve known it was going to be downhill from the start) and asked for no onions in chow mein and it came with onions, I’m a waitress myself and trust me it’s not hard to remember to press the button that says no onions for my only table of the night. Food was so salty I couldn’t finish it because my lips were tingling. Came to £40 for 2 starters that were clearly frozen and warmed up, 2 mains that were wrong and quite frankly disgusting and genuinely inedible, and 2 cocktails which were probably the best part but cost £14. No atmosphere or relaxing music, only sounds we had to enjoy was the owner having a debate with a customer over the price of a stella. Don’t waste your time or money, if you enjoy overpriced food and a night on the toilet this is the place for you.

Wow..absolutely amazing food, had 2 deliveries so far (due to lock down) and simply cant fault it. Well done to you and your staff for lovely food and prompt delivery. 5*****

I have been ordering from Wok n rock for a while now and I LOVE them!!! They deliver even here in Feltwell and I order from them pretty often. I am a pretty big Chinese food snob and no one can beat Wok n Rock! I will visit them at the restaurant soon and leave a review on that to but seriously haven’t met a dish of theirs that I didn’t like! The following are items on their menu that I have tried and loved : crab rangoons ( the price seems high until you try them!) egg rolls, Singapore rice noodles ( my favorite) hot Singapore fried rice, sesame chicken, wonton soup, special fried rice, chicken balls with sweet and sour dipping sauce ( also try them with the homemade Chinese bbq sauce), sweet and sour chicken, beef with broccoli, mixed starter platter, mini veggie spring rolls, bbq spare ribs (seriously amazing.... their homemade Chinese bbq sauce I can not stress enough is AMAZING!!!!) I think that’s it. But this place is seriously amazing!!!!

Nice restaurant, and good for a takeaway. If I had the choice I would go for a takeaway. Turns into a pub/bar/club late at night. Although very. Nice food! At good prices.

Great food, great service - we often order delivery and it's not only fast, but we can depend on the delivery person being friendly and remembering what we like. The egg drop soup is the best that I've ever had and I order different dishes each time. I have never been disappointed.

We stopped here on our very first evening in Lakenheath and were pleasantly surprised (considering the size of the village I wasn't expecting to be bowled over). We ordered the beef with broccoli, sesame chicken, steamed rice and garlic pak choi, plus wine and beer and some soft drinks - came to about £40. Wasn't the cheapest but reasonable considering all of our meal choices were amazing. Really tasty. Waitress was lovely and the food came out pretty quickly and piping hot. Will return!

Initially thought it was a total rip off for what it was and seems I was charged £6 over what the menu prices state when I’ve checked my bank so now even more of a rip off!

Absolutely brilliant- 14 people's food delivered piping hot at the exact time we ordered it for. Delicious - several of the 14 are changing allegiance from their usual takeaway. Thank you, Wok and Rock :-)

The Wok n Rock in Lakenheath serves delicious food and the owner is dedicated to ensuring everything is just how you want. There is a friendly atmosphere and it certainly has a very welcoming staff. I would highly recommend the Wok!

Ordered for delivery and waited hour and a half. Which is not good enough, especially when they say it will be 20 minutes. because of the service i wont be going back again

You can call me picky but Wok n Rok was alright. IT wasn't like wow this is the greatest it was more like yup it Chinese food. I might recommend if you don't want to leave the Lakenheath area.

This place is inside the pub, but nicely separated. Nice drinks menu and lots of choices for food. A bit on the high side for the portions but delicious. We had three starters and two main dishes for three and that was enough. Pictures below. The tastiest was the noodles but all the dishes were good.

La comida era buena, teníamos una mesa reservada para nosotros en casi 10:00 cuando habían dejado de hacer servicio de mesa. .

Estar en la zona que pensamos que le daría otra oportunidad, no me quedé impresionado con la comida, muy cara para lo que es y los platos no son lo suficientemente calientes que podrían ser peligrosos. En la parte superior de la máquina que nunca funciona y si te tomas una copa después de las 23:00h los precios suben, qué estafa!

Vine aquí en un ala. Las cosas buenas sobre el restaurante oído así pensamos probarlo. Buen menú, un montón de opciones! Finalmente he probado 'crab Rangoon" y debo decir que fue genial! Lo único que me estoy oan 'como tal es el último poco de Rangún, es desordenada y acabé del poco, yo podía comer el fondo. El plato principal no era pesado como otros lugares de comida china que ir también. Tenía un montón de sabor! Y nos dieron galletas fortuna! ! En resumen, muy buen servicio, buena comida y clientes contentos! Sin duda volveremos! :)

Tenía mi almuerzo de cumpleaños marido aquí, la comida es buena pero no mucho por el precio.

Vino a ver una banda y decidimos pedir comida pensando que sería normal porque el wok y cata Rock está ubicado en un antiguo pub. Qué equivocado era yo. . . La comida era fresca y fabuloso, todos los platos estaban muy bien preparadas. Silenciosos, no estaba demasiado mal. Una gran noche. Realmente sorprendentemente

Este no es un tradicional pub británico. El edificio es de finales del siglo XVIII, cuando era una posada. Para la mayoría de los 19 y 20 siglos fue una funciona como un edificio público.

Paramos a las 6:20 el lunes por la noche, sólo había una pareja de comedor. Pedimos, y 45 minutos más tarde llegó la sopa wonton. Me di cuenta de una orden era llevar colocó después de que pedimos y le fue aconsejado de 20 minutos, te puedes imaginar que estábamos bastante decepcionados que tardaron 45 minutos en llegar a mi sopa. La sopa era buena, pero molesto largo a recibir. Yo tenía pollo chow mein/lo mein fue buena, un poco cutre lado especialmente £6, 90 para el precio. Mi marido tenía pollo dulce y agria, la salsa era buena y el pollo estaba delicioso, pidió arroz frito, que era un poco Blanshard. En general, disfrutamos de la comida y la camarera era amable y servicial, sin embargo una hora para recibir nuestra comida fue bastante decepcionante.

Not the best of places as people hanging about inside and out feel nervous when entering, food not brillaint prices are alright

Well what can i say !!!!!SHOCKING !!At 6.30 in the evening the restaurant was empty which was ok as it was my grandsons 10th birthday, there was 5 of us adults and 5 kiddies,the table had been pre - booked but as we got there at 6.20pm the tables hadn't been set ! ,we was seated at 6.40 pm we asked for the kiddies menu and then we noticed the kiddies menu was individually priced as in all the mains and sides were priced separate. Kids meal nuggets chips and beans £8.00 ?Then the experience really started !We ordered our meal some came out some didn't. Some didn't turn up at all until we had all finished. We ordered a special chow mein a a chicken chow mein but the problem was they were both the same ? But a different price ? So to sum it up.!!!!Service 1 out of 10.Food 1 out of 10.Value 1 out of 10.I would never recommend this place to anyone !Had a better Chinese from a supermarket. ... shocking !!

OK if you want to fall out of the bar into a Chinese Food eating area.Supposed to be a WOK. Well having eaten in lots of WOK restaurant, this isn't. It maybe cooked in a WOK which you do not see and then it is served on a plate and taken to the table. No individual choice of food to be freshly cooked in front of you which is my idea of a WOK restaurant.Quality of food? Average, nothing special.Would not visit again.

Can't really rave about this place at all. I thought the prices were on the high side and food very average. It's really a pub with a pool table that serves Chinese food. All in all I couldn't recommend it and I won't be returning.

I have had take away from here a couple of times and have always been happy with the service and the food. Most recently I have visited this establishment with friends for a few drinks, the bar staff is very polite and friendly. this is a nice pub, not to loud for a general conversation and yet it is enthusiastic enough to enjoy a game of pool or darts.

So so meal, nothing special and quite pricey. Good service but wouldn't rush back. 3x cost of a takeaway meal. Was ok, but for price wouldn't rush back

This is a strange place to get Chinese as it's also a lounge. Food is good but a little expensive for the portion size.

I was there just before Christmas on a night out with friends to listen to a band, Your toilets need more attention, the mens room appeared to have more than 1 days worth or urine stink. experience put me off ever eating there.

Chicken fried rice is really, really good. Nice restaurant, we only did takeaway so I can't speak to the staff or the ambience but the takeaway was great. We're going back to visit.

Friendly staff it food expensive for what it is. Nothing special. £78 for three of us and wasn't astounded. Two starters between us, three mains and one desert. Couple of alcoholic drinks and a Coke.

It's a decent sized restaurant and the staff is friendly enough. There's usually entertainment on site over the weekends which makes it loud to eat out as a family, but great for takeaway. My children love the lo mein and it's the only place I've been able to find crab Rangoon. Yum! The rest of the menu isn't terrible and the prices are good.

This place was a last minute decision during a power outage. The entree's were adequate, small in size, what I would expect to be standard side (rice) at a Asian Restaurant was 1/2 the price of the entree`. We ordered a dessert of ice cream which was taken directly from the refrigerator (visible in the dining area) and was more than the entree`. Do not eat here, drive the shorter distance to town of Mildenhall to Mr. Wongs. Much better portions and prices for the food...We are talking Asian here....

Average Chinese place. I wasn't blown away by the food. The service was good and the people were friendly, but in the end its mostly about the food.

The food is good and at a reasonable price to, we were served well and enjoyed the meal,there is some form of entertainment most weekends .but we ate during the week ..Worth a visit ...

I have been here a couple of times, both with parties, and both times have been good experiences. The service has been very good and the food tasty. I would recommend the buffet selection as you get a good selection of food. It is also good for a takeaway and has regular live music at the weekends. Well worth the visit

My husband and I went for a meal here last night. The waitress was very attentive and friendly. The food was delicious and fresh. The wait between each course was perfect.The portion sizes were good for one person but more expensive than other Chinese restaurants.The only issue I had was that the plates for the main were cold so my crispy beef soon became chewy beef which wasn't as tasty! The waitress definitely deserves some recognition as not only was she attending to the restaurant tables but she was handling the takeaway and the adjoining bar. Not once did we feel she was neglecting us!

We live quite far away yet they were more than willing to deliver to us. It was a very quick service. The food was the best Chinese I have had in the area, and the prices were not too bad. The quantity of food was astronomical! Very good take away delivery

Four of us visited the Wok 'n Rock for a meal on New Year's Eve 2014, and none of us had been before. It was a really lovely surprise! The food was absolutely beautifully made, the service was speedy and attentive, and the atmosphere and friendly and welcoming. At times it felt a little bit cramped, but this being said it *was* New Year's Eve, and so perhaps at other times it wouldn't be so busy.We had an alloted slot for our meal, but at no point did we feel rushed or pressured to finish and get out. The staff were very friendly and obliging, and we'd definitely recommend a meal here!

When I was sorting my order out I did think to myself that it was very pricey, but upon receiving my food and trying them for the first time, I am pleased to say that the food quality matches the price. Absolutely lovely. Will definitely be ordering again in the future.

I have visited most of the Chinese restaurants in the Tri-base area. This has the best Chinese food by far. The food is fresh and healthy with perfect portions,a must visit if jonesing for some great grub.

The food was good. I took the wife and kids and we ordered noodles, fried rice and some sweet and sour dishes. Service was great and the food was pretty good. The meal was a little pricey from what we were used to in Germany and in the States. But pretty typical prices from what we have heard of the UK. The portion we perfect sized for one. Not enough to share unless you were splitting two meals. Overall 4 out 5. We would go back if we wanted Chinese.

We Visited this place recently with friends and the food was very nice and reasonably priced too! Wasn't sure what to expect as this was a pub converted to a restaraunt, however there is still a pub/bar area.

Had a lovely meal at the Wok and Rock last night the food and service were both excellent, the restaurant is clean modern and newly refurbished, definitely go back they also do take away Chinese for those that do not wish to have a sit down meal
