Hing's in Charnwood

Unbelievable flavour big portions very helpful a reasonable priced. We come from le2 to pick this lovley food up 😍 would recommend any one with Chinese in mind to give this a go ,

It’s a casual Chinese Takeaway they do deliver to your home I went 6:30 and it was still the quick Hing’s we all know . And my usual .

sevice was terrible and my son birthday and food wasn't ready and didn't know when it was going bee when my husband had rang earlier to pick up won't be going for a long time again

Vile food! The texture of the “beef” was like rubber and the “chicken” was slimy and fatty. Inedible…threw it in the dustbin.

Food tastes nice but shame it doesn't have vegan options. Live local and have eaten here a few times and food has always tasted OK just very little vegan options, it would not be hard to add tofu to the dishes. It seems odd because tofu is cheaper and has a long shelf life compared to meat. So generally we order elsewhere in the city that do serve more vegan dishes. Also the plastic tubs would be better swapped to the aluminium ones. Girl on the till is always very friendly and helpful.

I stopped going here as everything got far to spicy and tonight it was the only Chinese I could find open so gave it another chance never again not after I bit into a chicken ball that was pink

When we ordered form Hings for the first time and were surprised to find the food was excellent. We’ve had 2 more takeaways since then. I highly recommend getting your next Chinese takeout from there.

Moved to Anstey in January 2020. 7 weeks into lockdown we thought we fancied something different to eat so thought we would try Hings. What a mistake. We certainly got something different - the food was dreadful one Chicken dish had not even seen the inside of a wok. Will never order from here again.

Ordered here for the first time and the food was tasty but half way through my meal I pulled two hairs from my plate... they were not mine!!! This put me off my whole meal and after spending £17 I was not happy. It’s a shame as food was ok but there is no excuse for hair in your food.. there was no point in complaining as I wouldn’t want another dish from there again.

I’ve been eating at Hings for like a year and everytime I’ve ordered something it would come out great. Even if I have to wait for like 5-10mins. Sometimes they are busy which I’m not suprised bc it’s the best Chinese in anstey. They even would take out some things like seafood out of you don’t like it. I would totally recommend Hings to my friends.

This is the best Chinese restaurant by miles around Anstey area of Leicester. The food is excellent and the service is very fast. I would strongly recommend their Beef in black bean sauce with garlic and chili, my favourite 😊

So a friend had recommended Hings as "the best in the village" so last night me and the wife gave it a whirl.Our order was, house special chow mein, this had very little "house special" about it. Very little meat or flavour. Prawn toast that was not crispy, BBQ spare ribs, the meat was tender but the sause was dreadful, it was like washing up water after you have cleaned the bolognese pan! Very watery and oily. Even the chips were under cooked and looked anemic.Sorry wont be using you again.

I thought it odd when I collected our order that there was no kitchen activity. There were just two women there (neither one I recognised) and no food being prepared. I felt queasy later on and eventually got up to use the toilet. I have never been so sick in my entire life. It’s now 24 hours later and still the diarrhoea persists. I am writing this review from toilet.

Visited Hings to celebrate my dad getting a new job. The staff were very welcoming and the restaurant was tidy and clean (the decor is old fashioned however I kind of like that from a Chinese) the food obviously means more to them than the furnishings. The food was absolutely on point. This is my new favourite Chinese restaurant in Leicestershire and I will definitely be back. Every dish we ordered was super tasty and it’s also good value for money. Will be recommending to friends and family.

I ordered the prawn & mushroom dish with Egg fried rice. I’d asked for crispy seaweed too but they don’t do it.I’m not kidding, the rice was inedible. It was clumpy, overcooked yet cold, had hardly any egg in it & tasteless & was a cardboard colour! Very unappetising. The main was covered in the same cardboard coloured, transparent but gloopy sauce. It had virtually no taste and a snotty consistency! The large pancake rolls my kids had were nice & tasty but greasy & my partners rice was the same as mine too! I won’t eat here again.

This isn’t our local Chinese, but is my far the best! Never had a problem with anything we’ve ordered, and we’ve been using it for a good 10 years now. Staff are very friendly, although itdoes get busy on Friday and Saturday nights (which for me is a good sign, as it’s popular)

Ordered bbq ribs which felt like sugar syrup watered sauce. Deep fried king prawns didn’t taste fresh but chicken in black bean sauce was ok

As far as I can tell, there is no better Chinese in West Leicestershire. I’ve tried many, and I am picky - especially when they have really dark, greasy rice and noodles. Eugh. Hings’ food is tasty, fresh, not excessively greasy. Would recommend.

Having been completely let down by Chutney Ivy in Leicester after wife's graduation. We managed to get to Hings just as it closed. We explained situation and they stayed open to cook us a takeaway. As always the food and service were excellent.Thank you

We ordered a meal to be delivered locally from Hings, and the experience was excellant. The order was taken professionally, and the driver seemed pleased that this was the biggest order he'd delivered this year!

We had friends around for a regularly arranged meal and decided on takeaway instead of cooking Hings was first choice as it has a very good reputation, we were not disappointed food was prompt and great taste and quality we had four main courses will use and recommend yet again . Best around .

First visit. Had read good reviews and wasn't disappointed. Lovely Lemon Chicken and Yeung Chow Fried Rice. Will definitely use again.

We're new to the village had to pop in to get a menu. Seemed really busy. Menu isn't available online which would of helped us. Enjoyed the food. Dry ribs were very hot so not for the faint hearted. Cash only so make sure you have it ready! Will definitely be ordering again.

The food sadly didn't really have any flavour and the noodles tasted burnt. Not great. We travelled to collect as they don't deliver on the weekend but sadly disappointed with the food.

We have never had a bad takeaway from here, if you call to order exect to wait 30 minutes but if you turn up to order will be served within 15 minutes.

been here dozens and dozens of times always had good meal, got a good selection of dishes. do deliveries during the week. try the different stuff one menu. no parking, although most people just park tge pavement ouraide.

Hings, you can not get a better Chinese takeaway anywhere! My favourite! In fact I won't use any other Chinese now, If I can't have Hings then il go without! Everything on the menu is lovely, the curries, the soups( highly recommend trying the hot and sour) the chow means, foo yung. Pancake you will never find one as good as Hings! Also the salt chilli and pepper crispy dishes are amazing! Staff are friendly too we have become to be friends.

Sometimes life gets you down, throws the odd spanner in your direction and you need that comfort, that warm hug - Or that quality Hing.I've only recently entered into a relationship with Hing but I can already see we are strong together.I like to keep my orders to days ending in a Y and always ensure I order enough for my next three meals. The food is always amazing here and really quick. Only annoyance is that they don't take card payments.....everyone takes card these days but there always busy so who am I to complain.

Hing's is a regular Friday night after-a-pint treat for us. We pop in on our way to the pub, place our orders for a given time, then pick them up after a pint or two. The welcome is always friendly, the lady always remembers my favourite dishes and the food is always ready at the appointed time. The food is consistently good! Hot, tasty and plentiful. If you have any special requests (e.g. I don't cope very well with MSG) they will accommodate your request. Well done Hing's! An excellent service!

The best of 2 Chinese take aways in Anstey. Very friendly people and great food. Everything as usual takes 10 minutes but if you take too long on your last pint they will keep it warm for you.Also deliver
