i should have just ordered rice chips and curry sauce the chicken wasnt nice at all and ended up in the bin

Seems to have gone from the best to the worst overnight. A really bland, tasteless meal.

Love everything I've eaten from Wing Sun. The lady that serves me is kind and no matter how busy she is, always makes time for pleasantries. The prices are normal, but the food is great. My go to Chinese Takeaway.

missing items, stone cold, curry was watery and had no taste and bad attitude after ringing and complaining about missing items. full refund was requested.

Chicken curry had bones in it. Not happy.

I've ordered from the wing sun loads of times in the past when the father was in charge and was a regular customer and everything i recieved was always of very good quality.however now that the father has retired and the daughter has taken over the atmosphere is still the same but the food has changed significantly and its very dry.ive been twice since and on both occasions I have had the same issue.i did let them know and they gave my next meal free of charge but that was exactly the same so unfortunately I dont think I will be returning.

Not to be rude, but worse Chilli and Salt chips, Kung Po chicken (may have been wrong meal sent) and chicken chow mein. Nearly all wasted and kids wouldn't touch, so McDonalds ordered. Myself, partner and 1 child said worse Chinese ever had. Really disappointed.

Decided to have a change from our usual Chinese. Big mistake. Underwhelming and fairly bland food. Long delivery time too. £3.30 for a small bag of frozen chips, Salt and Chilli Beancurd which barely had any salt on it and was bland. Was suckered by all the 5 star reviews!

WOW just WOW!! Food amazing, the only Chinese I have ordered in forever with so much sauce and meat in the beef curry, Yum 😋 and the egg fried rice was so fluffy. Just one slight moan, PLEASE PUT SOME MUSHROOMS IN THE CURRIES ( everyone to their own taste hey ) Overall an absolute delicious meal and will definitely use again...

I mostly order from here amd the food is good, however today the chicken was not great, Gristley and a little chewy. Chow main was lovely and chips were great.

I was surprised i norm have that few don't do Singapore chow mien and they often little spicy but this place blew my tongue off was tasty

Had our first order from here today due to the review's I've seen online... Wish I didn't. Everything was very greasy. The chow mein was horrible, the rice was tasteless, and the chicken balls were rock hard and so tough and dry I ended up giving them to the dog and even he struggled! The only decent part was the barbecue sauce and the prawn crackers! Not normally one to write reviews but this was by far the worse Chinese I've had!

Ordered from here yesterday the food was very average and seemed like it was not made fresh to order beside the chips. Service was good delivery came within 15 mins of the order. Wouldn’t recommend this place.

Currently my go to Chinese takeaway. Consistent and good quality food, cooked well, plus always and prompt service, which suits me fine. I little bit expensive for what it is, however I will accept until better options appear on one of the delivery services

Do not hesitate to try the excellent food provided by this establishment. The beef curry is my personal favourite but I've tried most things on the menu and have loved every single dish.

Tried this Chinese for the first time and can honestly say it was the worst Chinese I have EVER tasted. Everything was awful. The chow main was caked in thick oil and had an aniseed taste, Chips were dried up, rice tasted like a salt pot , ribs were burnt. I didn’t complain but would never go back. A shame as the owner seemed a nice fella but the food was really bad.

To celebrate Chinese New Year we thought we would treat our grandchildren to their first Chinese food. Unfortunately we chose this takeaway. I even rang up and complained which I’ve never done before. The food was either tasteless or full of vinegar. King prawns evidently reheated, like pieces of chewing gum. You should be ashamed to serve this food Wing Sun. it’s now in my bin. Avoid this establishment at all costs.

Always amazing food, lovely, fresh and hot. The chap in there is always very welcoming and accommodating and the food is always ready really quickly. No Chinese is better.

Awful chinese the worse ive had will not be visiting again over priced and low quality food i know my CHINESE food and believe me these are poor try chungs kitchen or rising sun in loughborough or golden river tudor rd also hings in anstey is steady so much better quality chinese guys awful chinese hate to leave bad reviews but also hate spending hard earnt money on poor grub.

Used the place for years had a bad meal tonight so rang they said bring it back and we will replace it Well took it back meal was replaced but subsequently the owner barred us for daring to say we had a bad meal

The food is good, but the portion sizes have slowly been getting smaller. A good alternative is New Golden River on tudor Road, who now deliver to Thurmaston.

Food was substandard certainly not worth paying for. Returning I dont think so would rather go hungry

The best Chinese take away in the city.

Lovely man served me, had a nice manner and inquired about my day. When I said I had a way to travel home he made sure all the food was extra wrapped in paper. When I got home 40 mins later food was still nice and hot. Also have a very nice curry sauce! :)

I have eaten here a few times and it has always been good or excellent. It was the latter this week, hot, tasry, freshly cooked what more do you need?

Called at 23:25 and a rude English man said in an annoyed voice "we are closed" after I pointed out this google page said late night dining, he said I an annoyed voice"we never said that" and abruptly ended the call. I've marked it in my book as 'never order from here'. I suggest you do the same.

Quiet place, it's been there for ages, was my first time I ordered something here. I didn't personally like the quality of the food. But it was decent for the price.

If you're feeling hungry and fancy a cheap and cheerful Chinese meal then the Wing Sun is okay. Some dishes are better than others.

I can honestly say it was the worse takeaway I have ever had, the meals tasted nothing like any other Chinese meal I have ever tasted and will never be driven to ever revisit the place again.

Love this take away... Freshest Chinese I have every order and always piping hot. Great tasting and lovely guy Simon who takes the order. we've been having take away from here for over 10 years and never had a bad one. Never greasy either which a lot of places can be.

What can i say??? I have been going to the Wing Sun for almost 30 years. Firstly it was George behind the counter but eventually he was replaced by cheeky Simon! The food is superior & although they don't deliver i still would never go to another Chinese (except when they close for their annual holiday) It's actually the only Chinese i have ever been to where you can bite into a pancake roll without having grease dripping down your hand. The food is piping hot, beautifully cooked & i'm sure other Chinese establishments would pay to discover the recipe for their Curry Sauce!!! They also do half portions, which is perfect if you want to try something new or, like us, have different tastes in curry (mild, ho, beef, chicken etc). Well done to all the staff & thanks Simon for the excellent welcome, the cheeky banter & fast service. PERFECT. It's a shame they don't open an eat in restaurant!

I swear I have been using this place for over 20 years on and off and nothing ever changes. From the door scraping on the tile to the same guy behind the counter in his ever humorous personality to the amazing standard of food No other Chinese will ever be as good as this place. It's just a shame they don't deliver. But always worth collecting because it's outstanding
