Eastern Chef in Charnwood

Friendly staff, same food as all other Chinese takeaways,fairly consistent, not had a horrible meal yet.

I have used this take away for 10 years. Lovely food and service.

Decided to try Eastern Chef and glad to have done so service was friendly and polite whilst waiting for my order several people came to collect food being greeted by name and obviously regulars . The food is excellent and price is good to give it a try .

Good food overall but my Singapore noodles were just overly spiced with curry powder... yuk... menu in photos ... you're welcome :)

Waste of time and money! terrible food!

Very Expensive not good value for what I ordered at all.

We have never had a bad meal from here, always tasty, polite service and good value.

Chowmein was tasty as was the salt and chilly chicken, salt and chilli chips were over cooked and was quite pricey for the portion sizes.

Used Eastern Chef Rothley for the first time yesterday after our usual Chinese was not answering the phone. I have to say I was surprised , it was fresh and tasty , loved it . I will continue to buy here . Thank you for l;ovely fresh food and a friendly service :)

Food was barely warm and not very tasty. We won't be returning!

Great great quantity of products cheaper than local supermarkets including the big 4 good covid-19 policies and polite staff

Like most chineses it looks pretty grim from the outside but the food has always been good. It’s quick too. Cash only.

We have just had a takeaway from here and it definitely was not worth the money we paid. We were surprised how quickly our food came out and on Opening it up we now know why. Soggy chips, bland mains just not nice to eat. Wish now we would of had chippy like the kids. Definitely won’t be returning to re heated old food

Lovely food, quick service, but only cash payment. You be stuck without cash in your wallet. And Rothley has only the coop which is not nearby for ATM

Not impressed , they forgot one of our items prawn chowmein was just noodles and six of prawns .. had quite a wait as they were busy ..won't be going again

Food quality has dropped over the years. Ok Chinese but certainly better ones to pick from in the local area.

Special rice was half a portion of soggy rice with hardly anything else in it, satay just tasted like watery curry sauce and Peking sauce was like a sweet and sour with vinegar in it. Maybe it's a one off bad experience but my first and last time ordering here.

Highly recommended great tasting food A+++ we use to use mountsorrel but thats gone very downhill so

Really lovely meal tonight. Four different dishes ordered and all were really tasty and we all commented that the meat was really good quality. Best meal we've had from here and best Chinese meal we've had in quite a while.

This place is worth a visit the.takeaway is very good friendly staff in there and always helpful if you want to change a dish in the set meals

Fantastic Food and Friendly Service

Our lad is Coeliac and can't tolerate gluten. We asked what they could do for us and one of the staff came out of the kitchen to help. She could not do enough to advise and help make a meal for our son and was very aware and cautious of what they could make. Nothing short of first class service and help for which we were very grateful. The food was also extremely tasty and all in all we had a fantastic meal. I cannot speak highly enough of the service we received. Many thanks
