The best restaurants serving Chinese food in England

Rung for takeaway at 6.00. Arrived at 8.05. Not very warm . Rang twice to ask where meal was and lady quite abrupt. Our wedding anniversary meal ruined. Flyer through door said free prawn crackers on order over £10. Did not happen.

I had my first experience at this Chinese takeaway, and I was genuinely impressed. The food was fantastic, full of authentic flavors, and the staff, including the owner, were warm and welcoming. If you're looking for a nice Chinese cuisine in New Malden, this place is a must-visit!

This place is great and service is always good . I always too get take away too and still taste yummy .

I have been going to the Lon Wah for more than 40 years and have always had a great experience, but my most recent takeaway was very disappointing indeed. I went for the Spicy Shreeded Beef and it as very bland with not much sauce. Alongside I chose chicken with pineapple and again that was tasteless and devoid of any real flavour. The portion size is quite small compared to other take aways, and yet they charge quite alot for their dishes. Maybe I chose the wrong things from the menu, but I was expecting alot better.

Hop song was my families favourite restaurant in my years growing up in Grantham. I have been to many Chinese restaurants in the 30 years since I moved but none of them make egg drop soup and deep fried scallops. After 30 years they are still on the menu, still delicious and still freshly cooked. Thank you for keeping them on your menu.

Did a Google search for our last night at butlins for a good Chinese, found golden house, wasn't disappointed, we had crispy duck, special fried rice, ribs and crackers, very nice and crispy duck was already shredded which is helpful, overall it was a great choice and would definitely go back. Thanks 👍

Really enjoyed this restaurant, food was nice , needs more deserts I don't like jelly but they have a proper ice cream machine that's brilliant. The only down fall for me was no sushi I love sushi please put some on . We coming back in December. Plus you need some music or something .

Horrible food Horrible service. I've used this takeaway for years despite it going downhill. The food is now inedible bland or overly hot. A complete rip off. The man taking orders is often incredibly rude. He couldn't hear properly yesterday and got very snappy over the phone. The food is expensive with small portions. I can't use this place again.

We were so disappointed with the service here. We went in for evening meal and although had a great starter, then sat for a long time, without drinks watching other people’s food be served and our main didn’t turn up. When asked where the food was we were told the order had been missed but were still given the receipt for our starter . We feel the starter should have been taken off as courtesy given the 1.5 hour wait and not offered any drinks. The manager tried to explain there were new staff in. Hopefully just a poor experience tonight.

We are only here for a day but visited Oriental Aroma for its all you can eat buffet. You choose six starters from a list. Then have some pancakes and then a choice of main meal. Each course was delishous. We left very happy and full. We would highly recommend this restraunt.
