Been using Wok for last 6 years, great food, friendly staff,

We had a family takeaway yesterday. The egg fried rice was 99.9 % rice and 0.1 egg totally bland.the sweet and sour battered chicken was fried in burnt oil as was my toffee apples. So disappointed what a waste of £42. Wont go there in a hurry again.

After 30 years using a previous takeaway and suddenly they changed hands and drastically went downhill, I chose this one on reviews. Wow. This is going to be my regular. The best tasting and best ingredients. The delivery man was really friendl. Thank you for such a yummy meal. 10/10

My girlfriend and I really love the food here! The food at this place is delicious, and the staff is friendly :) We also find it convenient to use their own delivery app. I highly recommend this place to those who haven't experienced it yet 😊

We've been getting takeout here for 8 years, the food is always delicious, and they have the best hygene practices I've seen. No complaints really! Super friendly and even suggest new foods to try out!

The "special" ho fun (flat white noodle) with gravy is the only legit one I have found in this area. Same flavour as China Town, really nice. I prefer with no meat and they give me really nice Veggies and tofu.

We've been ordering Chinese here for over thirty years! (Before I was born!) It's always fantastic, food is hot, fresh and in delicious every time.

Waited over an hour for the food to be out for delivery - then the delivery driver had us out trying to find him as he would not listen to our directions. By the time our order finally reached us, it needed to be re-heated and had taken over 90 minutes! So disappointed as I had heard good things about this restaurant.

Go here when I have a Chinese takeaway on a Sunday one thing is they used to give free prawn cracker but now you have to pay for it lovely staff tho if you go here have chicken spaghetti and egg fried rice

Very good love the chow mien and egg fried rice with the crackers and some chicken or fish thing but the onley thing that it was disappointing was the prices has gone up.recommend going here if you want Chinese.

Friendly, lively modern Chinese takeaway. Open plan kitchen shows their confinence to all customers about their quality of food and Hygine of kitchen. About the menu, all are high standard takeaway we can expect from chinese resturant yet reasonably priced. however, Young friendly boss here only offer proper fried Hofun in this area as far as I am aware.. I ‘ve been eating seafood hofun here for many years and still wating to order for myself later today.

Food quality has really declined and awful customer service - no appreciation for long term customers. Ordered food that came burnt! Call to ask for replacement to be told “if you don’t like our food go somewhere else” — so shocked by this rudeness. Clearly no respect for customers or care for the food they send out. Avoid!

Loved this place years ago then it did go down hill so I stopped ordering but my friend ordered the other day and I tried some it was soooo delicious so I ordered that night and again tonight yum yum there back in the game customer service is so friendly 10/10 and the food 10/10 tastes like proper home cooked food I’ve loved the vegetarian soup, the Chinese vegetables in garlic sauce and there black bean sauce is spicy and full of flavour, the chicken ball are full of chicken best chicken balls my mum has had and rice is on point. Definitely recommend choosing this lovely takeaway

I'm fussy about my food and I'm particularly fussy about getting to the end of a long week and treating the family or myself to a decent takeaway. This place ticks all the boxes and I couldn't recommend it enough

I had this as my favourite take away already as my adult children and I loved many menu dishes from this outlet and I would normally collect . After Covid-19 and needing to isolate, I realised that their contact free delivery service was second to none. Their delivery service even out does Just Eat and Deliveroo services which are fine, but bettered by THE WOK EXPRESS team.

The food is usually really nice, although expensive compared to others, but staff attitude really sucks. The details mentioned on their delivery is wrong, we phoned 20 min before 10, and got told there was no drivers, maybe you should say that on your menu!

It's a local restaurant, but it was my first time trying it and it was reasonably priced and delicious!

Have used this take away service for a long time. Usually good. although I find them expensive . I will never use them again after an issue where a delivery was incorrect and although they offered to replace but said we could leave it till our next order.and it would be on yhe computer. 1 week later I tried to use this option but then refused saying it wasn't on the system. After being a customer for over 20 years a rude manager said any customer could say that they had something missing from a previous order. basically accused of trying to get 1 free dish on a £53 order. A very ignorant rude manager will no longer have my business. There are plenty of other Chinese takeaways . If you do use them still I suggest any problems you sort there and then so they don't get money for nothing

Used this takeaway for the first time tonight as my wife wanted a Chinese meal for her birthday. Not having used it before was not sure what to expect. Well the food arrived before the time stated which was a good start and was hot and very tasty all that we ordered was just perfect. Will definitely use this takeaway again.

Great service, I phone an order for collection, the man who took the order, was very friendly and confirmed what was in the dishes. On collection the young lady was very polite and friendly. The food was excellent, tasty, and large portions. Pity I was only visiting the area for work, but will return if I’m in the area.

I ordered food from them was told that it would be delivered within the hour I asked if they would get the driver to call when outside.... a hour and a half later im still waiting for my food so I call them again was told its on its way it has left the shop. 15 minutes later I received a call from a gentleman telling can you open the door im knocking on it.. I walk outside to find him tapping on my elderly neighbours door bearing in mind its nearly 9 o'clock at night now. I take my food upstairs open it up to plate it and its pretty much stone cold to the point i had to put my takeaway in the microwave to be able to eat it.... I call up and they offer to make the meal again and send it to me bearing in mind its now been nearly 2 hour's since I placed my order. I said its taken you over a hour and a half to bring me my food from when I first ordered what makes you think i even want to wait another god knows how long. The young lady on the phone was not willing to understand my frustration proceeding to talk over me telling me everyone tonight has had to wait that long for there food. The customer service was appalling. I could have cooked a three course meal in the time it took them to bring me a chowmain and a special fried rice. If you want to order a Chinese and eat it while your still hungry I would definitely recommend staying well clear of the wok express new malden. Cold food ridiculous waiting times for your food and a terrible customer service if I could rate minus 5 stars I certainly would been ording from them for years but its gone down hill terribly in the last year or two....

We tried Wok Express for the first time and was really impressed with the food. There is a definite freshness to the food which you sometimes don't get with fast food takeaways.

Have been ordering from wok for a while, but tonight's food below standard I have been getting, beef was tough ,and the sea food ho fun noodles, was 90per noodles 1 small PC of crab stick ,5 prawns 4 PC calamari small was like chewing a rubber flip flop,very disappointed as up until tonight food was great ,will think twice about ordering again

The Best Chinese in New Malden, KT3 area.

I love their Chicken Wonder and their hofun is good too. but I do agree with other reviews here that it's a bit up and down. Occasionally the dishes are far too greasy and tasteless. I haven't found better elsewhere so I will keep going.

I just 10 mins ago ordered Singapore noodles. Awful taste, very dry. No taste I have been in UK for 22 year and had noodles from Chinese restaurants. This is my worst experience.

The food was nice and as expected for a takeaway. It was made quickly and delivered in good time. The food was ok, black bean was nice as were the noodles. Deep fried squid a but chewy, strips would have been better than large chewy pieces. However, if you fancy a Chinese take away, it hits the spot.

The food is up and down depending on the chef , thursday is good food day. The lady taking the order makes her own rules, he doesnt admit she send wrong dish, twice. then she refuses to deliver when she is not in a good mood. She closes before 10:45. refuses to take orders,

We were all hungry on a Friday evening so were pleased with the quick delivery ... The food was OK, just like it used to be in the 90s... chilli beef was still crispy and the sweet and sour chicken was good. Other pork and chicken dishes were alright but not exceptional. We all liked the mixed starters.... but we were very hungry!

Would not recommend this place. Food was edible but not great. Very disappointed for the price the chicken balls were dry and tasted as if frozen. The sause was watery. The barbecue spare ribs were odd tasting and not great. The rice was sticky and not that great. The only thing that was decent was the beef chow main

Er is erg veel keus in vlees, vis en groenten om te wokken maar tegenwoordig ook om te grillen of te laten bereiden op de bakplaat. Fijn is dat je op het grillen en bakken op de plaat niet hoeft te wachten, je bord wordt netjes naar je tafle gebracht als het klaar is. Alles ziet er fris en vers uit.

Dependable standard Chinese takeaway with large range of usual options, plus some more unusual fare including ramen and Korean dishes. Specials available at lunchtime. Good delivery service if you can't make it in person, but in-shop service is very fast.

I ordered my food, and then I got a phone call asking me to provide an extra £1 because I was "outside of their 3-mile delivery zone" despite being 1.5 miles away. Then, the driver turned up early, and called me saying he's waiting and asked me to get a move on. Do not use. Money grabbing and rude.

Ordered something that was not on menu , no problem . Absolutely lovely. Best meal for a long time . We have tried several takeaways in the last 3 months as we got hooked on Kung po chicken which is not on the menu. Tonight we decided to go back to Wok Express and asked if they could do this dish So pleased when they said yes .

My favourite Chinese by far. Fast deleivery and the food is always tastey and hot. I moved away last year to Wimbledon and was sad I couldn't order from them anymore, however I moved back recently and I am happy to get them back!

Fast service and good priced. I highly reccomend their Katsu.

We picked up Noodles Chow Mein Deep fried crispy Beef Sweet & Sour king prawn balls The waiting time was 10 15 mins as the take away is always popular The only snag is that the area is heavilypatrolled by traffic wardens so waiting period is limitedwe will visit again but will use their delivery service

I always use this chinese take away in new malden !! Food always taste good price is a Little high compared to other places and plastic containers a bit shallow as well !!! Never had any problems here others don’t taste as good !! Bit of a cheek to charge £1 delivery up to 3 miles cost of the meal is enough for it to be free !!

By far worst chinese takeaway I have ever tried. The food arrived and both chicken dishes were extremely rubbery and in the smoked chicken there were a lot of black marks. When I called to complain, the man on the phone was very rude and wouldn't listen to anything I had to say. Eventually the manager answered and only refunded half of what I paid. One of the most dreadful takeaway experiences ever. AVOID.

The most awful service I've ever experienced. Very expensive too, for very avarage Chinese takeaway, there is no appriciation for customer loyalty.

Have lived and tried Chinese in all sorts of places and this is the only one I ever return to. The food is far superior to others. Well cooked, great attention to detail. We have been using Wok Express for many years. The veggie options are also much better than those I have had elsewhere - I highly recommend their veggie with nuts in black bean sauce. Where some places each dish taste roughly the same and it can be hard to distinguish one from another, at Wok Express dishes are freshly cooked and distinct.

Delicious food. Delivery takes a while so I would suggest to pick it up. They have taken themselves off of just eat app, but they have created they're own app which works ok. They're crispy sea weed is phenomenal and they're one of the few Chinese takeaways that don't come drenched in a load of oil or fat.

After a busy day a Chinese just fitted the bill... we had a selection of starters, which were really good and a couple of mains between three of us... the portions were generous and everything was tasty.... we ordered through Hungry House, which was quick and easy... it even arrived early which was good... good price too.... will use them again...

I popped in again tonight for a collection order, food consistently good as it has been for many years. For those who complain as to wait times, think that The Wok Express is on Just Eat and Hungry House and their customers are likely to get some priority , get out of the house, take a stroll down there and order in person, a frightening thought to many but you won't experience excessive delays if you are waiting there. Remember garbage restaurants where not many order from may deliver immediately decent restaurants who have a high volume of sales require either patience or common sense as to ordering at busy times

I had to hunt around TripAdvisor to find Wok Express in New Malden, which surprised me. Every now and then, I just fancy a Chinese takeaway. It is close to where I currently live, and I thoroughly recommend it. I don't like very greasy Chinese takeaways, and that is where Wok Express gets it right. Their food is not greasy! The Chicken Chow Mein is my favourite, and all the usuals. The service is quick and efficient. The takeaways are served in practical tupperware boxes, so quite often, as the portions are generous, I can store anything that I don't eat and it does not go to waste. The prices are not cheap, but reasonable. I would recommend Wok Express for one of those "I fancy a Chinese" evenings! Good food, good service.

Avoid the Wok Express New Malden. We have waited two hours for a delivery and still no food. What is worse - no communication despite us making 18 attempted calls to the restaurant over the evening - they obviously have the phone off the hook as no answer. Most disgusting service I have ever experienced and completely ruined our Saturday evening.

I tried every fast chinese in the area and this one is spot on. I'ts local, it has good food, it's served within 15 min sometimes even quicker (depending on the order size and obviously how busy they are). You ordered meat you get meat with veggies not other way round, want it more spicy - let them know. Very friendly, very polite, tasty. Once I had it delivered to my door by the owner as their delivery guys were busy. Recommend.

I and my girlfriend were starving so we ordered from wok xpress. I am new to the area so I had no idea what to expect. I ordered about £18.00 worth of food, it was about 3 weeks ago. I meant to review it straight away, although I did complain immediately, nothing was done/offered. To be honest the food was that bad that I will never recommend it to anyone, and I will never use it again. We threw most of it away, I cant even tell you how much we hated it. It also makes you wonder why you cant put a review on its main pages, obviously afraid of bad reviews. Crap food!
