The best restaurants serving Chinese food in England

I’ve just moved to Norwich and have been hunting for a good Chinese takeaway. I’ve tried 4 or 5 so far and last night tried Happy View on Ketts Hill. I am genuinely so happy I found it- everything we ordered was delicious! The food wasn’t greasy, it all tasted super fresh, the prawns and meat were very good quality, the vegetables were crunchy, the sauces were super flavourful and the portions were generous. Super happy all round and they now have one new regular customer!

Myself and my partner ordered a take away from Cinnamon last night, absolutely superb amazing food!! Everything tasted so fresh, not in the slightest oily or greasy and the saag paneer was incredible! The whole meal was and we cannot wait to come back for another!!

Food was so late with 0 updates. When driver finally arrived he tried to say heavy traffic, when I asked why he didn't call with an update he said he had no way of contacting us. I asked but you were stuck in heavy traffic and then he replied no I wasn't. Food did arrive hot even though it was over an hour late and they were 'stuck' in traffic.

Tuve una comida para llevar por primera vez aquí. Las toneladas ganadas fueron trozos planos de masa y no mucho más y porciones de comidas pequeñas. Dadas las salsas para ir con las comidas que ni siquiera estaban a mitad de camino dentro de las ollas, así que ni de lejos lo suficientemente cerca para compartir para la comida real. Muy decepcionante, no volveré a pedir.

Entramos esperando conseguir una mesa y ellos agradecieron. Excelente comida y excelente servicio con un toque muy personal. Realmente recomendaría ir.

Hemos estado yendo a Lucky durante muchos años visitado el fin de semana pasado pedimos 2 platos de carne de res junto con muchos más también. La carne de res era incomible debido a su dureza informé de esto en ese momento y la camarera simplemente se encogió de hombros. No volveré atrás, lo siento.

Forgot prawn crackers again ! But lovely food and speedy delivery makes up for it

La comida estuvo genial todo muy rico, pero lo mejor fue como nos atendieron , merece la pena pasar una velada romantica

We will go again, definitely. Basic but quite nice dining area. Heaters were on. Local free parking after 6pm and for hour and a half before 6pm. Outside is half an hour before 6, ideal for picking up a takeaway. We had the buffet, you request what you want and they bring it out. Food was really good. Service was good too. Update they no longer do the buffet. No worries, the set menu is a little cheaper and enough for us. So updated with recent visit for takeaway. All good and was prepared quickly. This is our go to Chinese.

Really poor .. meat and vegetables cut so big needed to eat it with a knife and fork … quality of pork was fatty (dog liked it though) … sweet and sour chicken was good … crispy duck was ok (definitely not a quarter of a duck … they must get more than 4 quarters out of one duck!!!). It used to be our favourite takeaway - it was so poor we won’t be back

We have order a take away tonight i couldn't even eat mine. we paid £30 for something that had no flavour and the chicken looked like it was bought from asda, I feel very sick after trying to eat a bit of it and i have had to leave majority of my plate. I would not recommend this place we have had a lot nicer Chinese from places that are cheaper. We feel ripped off and disappointed.

I had shrimp vermicelli and it felt like each ingredient had been boiled, then tossed together in the box at the end - it was the worst noodle I had. Everything was completely tasteless and rubbery, not even a pinch of salt. Really confused on how they could have messed this up that bad, I don't think it had touched a wok to be fried together as a whole. I had it with white mushroom and beef, which was slightly tastier, but it was just watery, with a pinch of salt. I had to season both dishes at home with salt, chilli oil and peanut sauce. Feel robbed of £20 for that meal - won't be buying from here again.

Young lady at the front counter was very patient and helpful. Great customer service :)
