Tsangs Kitchen in Oxford

Had a takeaway for the first time here. Won tons were flat pieces of batter and not much more and portions of meals small. Given sauces to go with the meals which were not even half way inside the pots so nowhere near enough to share for the actual meal. Very disappointing, won't be ordering again.

This is now our new go to Chinese delivery and I order from their website. Sometimes it's super quick and it's always be been within the stated delivery time. The food is really good! Perfect chilli and garlic chips, amazing crispy duck with pineapple, crispy sweet and sour chicken balls. Nothing is soggy. The black pepper sauce, green Thai curry are really nice and have a good spice to them. Excellent portion sizes. The leftovers from chicken balls, two mains, chips, large efr and large chow mein feeds us lunches for the rest of the week!

Ordered from tsang’s kitchen last night although they were busy but worth the wait. Ordered the sweet and sour chicken. It was fantastic!

Food is so tasty. Customer service is excellent always cheerful and welcoming. Would recommend going 👍👍👍

Revolting. Extremely poor quality. Food tasted like it had been lying around for a long time and was frankly inedible. Don’t waste your money. 1/10 would not recommend.

We've just had a very tasty meal from Tsang's kitchen. We phoned in our order and the meal was ready for collection about 10 minutes later. I feel very full now.

Been away for a while, ordered tonight. Simply amazing!! Food arrived hot, and the Korean spicy chicken was amazing. All of the food we ordered was amazing, prices are perfect. Thank you for an all round beautiful meal 😊

I always enjoy my food from here and the prices are very reasonable too. My only request to the restaurant is please put descriptions of the dishes on the menu. I like to try new dishes but am never sure exactly what's going to arrive.

Food arrived super early, is great value for money portions-wise and there is a great selection on the menu. Haven't tried too many different dishes but not best quality I've ever had, still really good though.

The food quality here is absolutely head and shoulders above the other Chinese takeaway’s in Oxford. We have ordered from several different takeaways over the years and couldn’t imagine going anywhere else after discovering Tsangs last year.

Cheap but Small portions, good food though

Delicious food as always for a very reasonable price. The portions are a good size and the serving is not bulked out with lots of extras meaning there is plenty of meat. If I'm having Chinese I'm ordering from here.

Ordered around 7pm, order said it would take 25-40 mins. Then it says that it will arrive at 8pm. Eventually arrives at 8:45...

Tsang's used to be great, but recently has been a letdown. Wontons had no filling, prawn toast was undercooked and soggy, and everything tasted like it had been cooked with burnt/old oil.

The rice was overcooked and Singapore chow menu wasn’t the best

The food was hot, very tasty and a reasonable price. I don't need to say more. I've tried these 3 times now and every time they did not disappoint. They are now my Chinese of choice 1st time every time.

Excellent food! Super impressed with how tender the chicken was inside the chicken balls, have found it’s almost always dry from other places. The special egg noodles were the best I’ve ever had, again the meat was amazingly tender and very tasty. Will definitely be back for more soon!

Delivery was 20 minutes late. Thai curry, spring rolls and spareribs were tasty but the tofu in black bean sauce was really oily.

Prawn balls were very overcooked

Had a dinner party for six so ordered set meal for 4 and added a few extra dishes. They even threw in some free spring rolls 😁 Not a bit of food left! It was absolutely delicious. Thank you!

While the default option "ASAP" was selected, I had planned for the food to arrive around the stated time and 30 minutes early meant I wasn't ready for it. Fast service is often a good thing but the ETA needs to be at least vaguely accurate.

Great food at very reasonable prices. I've been ordering a couple of favourites and something new to try each time. Every selection has been good. A special 👍 from me as there have been no horse chestnuts or bamboo shoots to pick out of what I've ordered so far

A good selection to choose from at very reasonable prices. My order arrived over 15 mins early piping hot, by a friendly driver. The portion sizes are good and everything was very tasty. Would I recommend to a friend? Definitely and will be ordering again myself 10/10

Best chinese we have had in a very long time.

Chow mein was fine. The satay sauce on the chicken skewers was odd - not much peanut just salty gloop. Chicken was still pink in the thai style stir fried (was not a stir fry - came in a very non spicy yellow sauce). Spare ribs were great.

Tasty food, good portions and always hot. Have ordered from here a few times now and it’s always been great.

Utterley disgusting food. Have phoned up the restarant (at 19.00) asking for refund as food inedible. They agreed to pick up food. Restaurant said we would get refund via Justeat. We asked for receipt for when driver picks up food. Driver had not arrived. Phoned at 20.00. Told restaurant as very busy and would pick up food later. Also advised we would not get receipt when driver picks up food. Now 21.15. Still no sign of driver to pick up food. Very poor service. the woman who took our phone call kept laughing and did not take our complaint seiously. Absolutely apalled at service. I asked to speak to manager. Told manager did not speak English.

Possible the worst takeaway ever. The egg fries rice was inedble, whic is extraodinary for a chinese takeaway. Avoid. Utterly disgusting.

The food was great, the sauces were not so gloopy as some other restaurants. It just took longer than expected to arrive, possible due to Saturday evening. We would try them again.

Just average really few better Chinese takeaways on the app

I ordered from here as my local take away was shut. Never again. The singapore chowmain probbably had more onion's than noodles, The sweet and sour chicken ball's in batter were dripping in oil and same with the spring roll's. The only decent thing I had was the can of coke. Every bit was thrown in the bin. Phoned the takeaway and the woman was so rude to the point of almost shouting. DO NOT GET FOOD FROM HERE!

Food was real good but I did think the garlic chilli chicken balls were a bit over done

food was rubbish chicken balls burnt and too hard to even bite into, No beansprouts or onions in chow meins and very greasy went in the bin. won't order from here again that's for sure.

It’s very busy on Saturdays and due to social limitations I totally understand that things maybe later than usual, food was amazing, worth the wait.

Y después de toda esa espera, fue bastante mediocre, no estoy seguro de dónde sacaron la foto de ese rollo de primavera, pero no se parece en nada a las que recibimos. Casi ningún relleno y tan aceitoso como siempre, no hay suficientes cebolletas o pepino para el frío, panqueques juntos, suficiente pato, pero a más de 15, debería haberlo. Gastamos más de 50 en esta comida y nos dijeron que podríamos tener un 20% de descuento en la próxima comida. Lo siento, no habrá una próxima comida!

Primera vez de intentar y la última. Las alitas de pollo con chile estaban empapadas, las algas demasiado saladas, y muchas de las galletas de gambas estaban duras y no estaban bien cocidas. Es una pena, ya que leí las críticas primero y pensé que sería encantador. Se adherirá a House of Tim o Panda House en el futuro.

Great food,but a little bit late

The food was burned, the egg fried rice was dark brown and the chicken balls were also dark brown and very very crunchy and the tofu was rock hard.. I called in and I was told that there was a quality check and it wasnt burnt it was the soy sauce in the rice but it even smelled burnt and tasted it too.. I felt upset that manager was making out I was lying about all of it.. it was the most terrible experience ever with Chinese restaurant from just eat. The stir fry was nice and the prawn crackers, that's the only positive I can give

Favourite Chinese takeaway in Oxford. Very affordable and friendly family service! Love the black bean tofu and seaweed!

There wasn't really any flavour to our main meals. The rice was the tastiest food.

Unfortunately on this occasion, I’ll have to rate 1 star for the food. Was dripping with oil, and was disgusting. It’s a shame because it’s usually amazing. I won’t let it put me off, I just hope that this is a one off. On the other hand, delivery time was excellent, 30 mins early!!
