Dragon Bowl in Oxford

Unfortunately the food was not up to the usual Dragon Bowl standard. The special rice was very expensive and had hardly any meat etc in it. The chips were hard and tasteless. They tasted as if they were old and just warmed up. We were very disappointed.

The Singapore noodles came badly burned. the whole dish was un-eatable, we had to complain. the rest was fine

Kung Po and rice. Stodge city. Most of it ended up in the bin. Such a disappointment.

Dragon Bowl is hands down one of the best finds on Just Eat! The food arrived piping hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious. The flavors were authentic, portions were generous, and everything was perfectly cooked. Driver delivered to children hospital and was no problem to pick up the food at the entrance.

Worst Chinese takeaway I have ever had. "Crispy" shredded beef was greasy and flaccid. Prawn toast consisted of some sort of blended white liquid pus that bursts as you bite into it. Black bean sauce was falvourless and watery with the greyest, palest, most anaemic beef I have ever seen. Avoid.

One of the duck dishes in the plastic was open and it had spilt. it smelt strange so have kept both containers .. dint want to make a fuss but me and my wife have been unwell...

Wow the chicken bits were just batter and no chicken and the 1/4 duck was so small Didn’t even make 6 pancake I’ve been on just eating for years and this is the first time ever I’ve had to warn people avoid!!!

Ordered for the first time ever which is always a risk, but man, this paid off big time. Will definitely order again. Chicken pieces in the honey garlic and the sweet and sour were cut super small but the flavours were all right where they should be!!!

Have ordered from Dragon Bowl several times. Food has been good - arriving quickly and hot. The boss lady is very reasonable - once had a mix up with my order (happens) and she sorted me out with no bother. Overall a class establishment.

They forgot to give us curry sauce which made having rice and chips very dry.

By far one of the best Chinese restaurants in Oxford. Eveything on the menu is amazing, food is so tasty and clean, and the customer service is fast. A great choice for comfort food.

Haven’t ordered from here for a while and sadly won’t be going back. The beef chow Mein tasted burnt and the beef was chewy & tough , the mo shu pork was watery and unpleasant. The dumplings were nice and the spring rolls were ok. I’ll go back to rice box next time. Disappointed .

The most bland and disappointing take away I’ve ever had delivered. The ribs were cooked but just something like congealed gravy put on the top,horrible. The crispy chilli beef was dry and tasteless too. Threw away after a few mouthfuls. Will not be using again.

Wow what can i say, after singing their praises for nearly 10yrs they’ve really let themselves down. Ordered £40 worth of food for to turn up cold and i could tell it was reheated yesterdays stock!!! Will stay away from now on!!!

The food came early but the quality was a let down. The fried rice was dry and the Honey and garlic chicken was not only chewy and very difficult to eat it had sugar instead of honey in it..

Bought beef in chilli oil and it was awesome Loved it Going to be a regular there.

Was okay, but it was one of the worst Katsus I have ever had. Chicken was overcooked and looked like it was breaded instead of panko. Sauce was lacking in flavour, and the rice tasted stale. The veggie spring rolls were amazing though! And the delivery was quick.

Tasty food, leagues above panda House down the road, and very friendly staff when we came to pick up our order. Will definitely be coming back soon!

I used to love the food from Dragon Bowl however recently the quality has declined. The price has gone up but the taste has been compromised. Need to improve!

One of our best experiences of a Chinese restaurant in oxford. The portion sizes could be bigger for the price, but the service was way quicker than predicted and the quality was great!

Delivery times have been slipping quite a lot over the last couple of months. I don't mind it taking a long time, but you really need to update the estimates so we know what to plan for. Food arrived so late that it was cold. Called the restaurant to inquire, and they said it was out for delivery already, another 40 minutes went by before it arrived.

It says our food has been delivered but it hasn’t been.

Unfortunately, food quality seems to have dropped with the implementation of this new menu (has been a few months since we last ordered from Dragon Bowl). Shame that chicken satay no longer offered as a starter (the main satay option is not worth ordering, nothing like it), and the sweet and sour chicken was a bit tough. Also disappointing that the spring rolls did not come with sauce. Unsure if new management as last time ordered crispy chilli beef and it was all carrot which was not good. Service and collection time were great though, cannot fault that.

First time I use this shop, a few things I like: the food portion was really big (so quite a bit leftover for my work lunch tomorrow); service was too class, polite staff and right on time. The chowmein is no doubt the best I’ve tasted on JE for a long time. So all in all a good enjoyable experience.

Good food, good prices and great people. Service is quite fast, and much more reliable than other take outs I've been to. It's located right outside a bus stop which is great for easy access for pickup orders. Highly recommend it.

First time I. Have used this takeaway. Excellent food, this was delivered on time and at the correct temperature. The driver was polite and courteous,and my overall impression was excellent.
