Octavian is such a wonderful and pleasant young man I’m very impressed with his resilience and kindness to everyone, he’s a very talented individual and deserves a much needed pay rise.

Octavian the most delightful, fine gentleman who really walked into my life so surprisingly and I’m so glad, he’s changed my eating experience, felt like when Macbeth is feasting at the banquet.

Hadn't been here for a long time but was quietly impressed by the improvements. Not overly busy,the food had a good variety and fresh.

I recently visited Cosmo with my friends to celebrate a birthday, and we had an amazing experience. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was vibrant, and we truly enjoyed every moment of our dinner. A special thank you to Farhan, who went above and beyond to make the birthday celebration extra special. His attention to detail and friendly service made a big difference and helped create a memorable evening for all of us. Thank you, Cosmo, for the great hospitality. I like COSMO so much. The sheer variety of cuisines on offer is super impressive. The entrance fee is really affordable and the staff is very professional and polite.

Very good Indian cuisine, the rest was uneven. The drinks system is not at all clear. The fire alarm rang throughout most of our meal (even though we were told after a while that it was an electronic problem)...

Lovely meal with family! Wide variety of different foods to have and all of excellent taste and quality. The atmosphere was perfect and not over crowded like some other places. Service was quick and we seated as soon as we arrived. Good variety of desserts and even an ice cream machine with cones and a huge chocolate fountain with marshmallows and sweets as well as waffles, churros, cakes, jellies, mousses and fruit.

Went with my girlfriend, staff was accommodating, very helpful and let us go at our own pace

Just had a fantastic meal here! The vibe was spot on, and the food absolutely nailed it – I especially loved the Prawn with Courgettes and the Lamb with Cumin. Mark and Mohammed from the front were legends, making the experience even better. Everything was top-notch, from the drinks to the service, and I can't wait to come back in a couple of months! We both got food poisoning!! My partner and I came here with really high hopes. After hearing lot's about the place, we finally decided to hold our excitement and make a booking. The staff were lovely and the atmosphere was nice and quiet. We initially enjoyed our food, but later I'm afraid to say my boyfriend had to go to ring 111, where he was then advised to ring 999 because of suspected food poisoning, which was so serious that he kept fainting and being physically sick. I am also sad to say that, although my reaction wasn't as dramatic, I also suffered from similar issues. Really expected more from a big chain. Sad to say we're going to give this a miss from now on. Also very suprising seeing that this particular location was awarded with a five star food hygiene rating last year!

Food is always hit and miss some is great some not so much but normal for these kinds of places felt rushed with a 90min time-limit for table thou

Sadly the food was all cold and some of it was over by the time our reservation was . Desserts were stale and tasted like they were a couple of days old.

I've been there twice, and both times were amazing. The food is good and wide range.

This restaurant was one of my favourite. It had a lot of food choices all around the world and best quality. The price was really good but not that cheap. All places are clean and beautiful. 1 hour to eat anything that you like was the best things I have experienced. Highly recommend to come and have dinner with family and friends.

Came here again with my family and once again there was a food item mislabeled. The mushrooms said it had molluscs in it and it was labeled vegetarian, when i queried why they would put molluscs with mushrooms and call it vegetarian, they said there are no moluscs in it. The rest of the food was great, more vegan options than last time.

Wow busy busy. We booked for 6.45pm , queuing outside but moved in quickly. fast service by manager to get us to the table. food was a good mix of very tasty indian , chinese, continental , lots of choice, only downside was the lack of plates being refilled and the pudding areas, did not want to eat from the chocolate fountain and soft ice cream after seeing many kids with the hands in it (but thats kids for you), other pudding were delicious lots of choice . quick service for drinks too, well done cosmo made a 21st birthday great

Fantastic experience at Cosmos today! Great food and great atmosphere

We just had a fantastic meal and everything was top-notch! The lamb leg was incredibly well made, and the kids loved the pepperoni pizza. The atmosphere was lively and inviting, making our almost monthly visit feel special. The service was excellent, and I genuinely can’t think of anything I’d change. Great value for money all around!

Great place to sample a lot of cuisines

I’ve been to Cosmo in some other cities before visiting this one in Oxford and I can say that I enjoyed the food in the other locations more. Not to say the food was not delicious, it’s just that the ribs and wings were a bit too dry. Also, the lift was out of order so we all had to use the escalator. Finally, there’s no parking and it was not easy finding where to park as someone who came from another city

Atmosphere was nice, food was bland and staff unattentive, will be my last return. Also had to pay on arrival, very odd.

The best quality World Buffet for miles around, right in the heart of Oxford. I particularly liked the prawn and lamb dishes in this well laid out restaurant. Top notch service and ambience to enjoy a meal. Hope it continues to thrive in Oxford city centre for years to come. 😋💛

Very bad food. Only the Indian section was halal. Plates were dirty. When things finished it took them ages to re-fill.

Very nice restaurant, of course it is a Cosmo, meaning quality food and service. This was our first visit to the Oxford branch. However, it won't be the last time we visit Cosmo Oxford. Highly recommended for solo, couples, or families.

A very nice place to come with family and friends. You pay £25 and have 90 minutes (1.5 hours) to eat as much as you want. There are different cousins and several types of dishes. I prefer Indian halal option. However, there are many Vegetarian options, too. The place has Chinese, Indian, Japanese and other nations meals. There are also fruits, cakes, ice cream and unlimited soft drinks. If you come this place, try to ask for Birthday celebration. Your kids will love a robot 🤖 that carry a birthday cake to guest. Enjoy your time. I strongly recommend.

Wonderful option for a Christmas feast 🍲 The variety of food is impressive, as I could make my way through each lane for every refill (Chinese —> Indian —> Western —> desserts). 🍶 With the most basic option, you could get tap water (not other soft drinks!) by asking for a glass at the bar. 🥩 Deserving special mention is the satay sauce. Honestly if I had more appetite I would go for another round of Chinese food. 🛜 One suggestion for improvement: fix the wifi connection in the restaurant. Since it’s located in the basement, no one could receive any signal otherwise.

Absolutely legendary buffet place to be eating all your kinds of different foods from different cuisines. Be sure to try the ice cream with the chocolates because it is very very good.

Our 1st time back since the reopening. Absolutely fantastic wonderful new dishes. All tasty very clean friendly and efficient. Wonderful Manager Tommy and Graciana who were very welcoming and friendly going above and beyond. Such good value 10 out of 10 we will return. I love the spaghetti bolognese and the enton mess the ice cream and chocolates fountain

The place has global cuisine as for buffet..Chinese ,continental,dim sum,indiain,japanese etc….also having kebab corner,chocolate fountain … overall good experience..Also you can try once…lacking cleanliness for plates and cutlery’s. We dont feel as a fresh.

Tandoori chicken was excellent, lamb curry was way too salty, chinese ribs, very good but chicken satay way to salty as for the beef platter......salty, salty. Over all too salty or too much flavour enhancer!!! Would not be using this place again.

Everytime I have been here with family somebody has fallen sick with food poisoning, I am currently ill aswell. Also very expensive for what you get I would not recommend

The prices have risen substantially yet they are not serving things like scallops because they are too expensive (according to chef)?! You now also have a time slot of 1.5hrs from the point of entry so if you are waiting for others to arrive who may be running slightly late then you are paying for that time?! Some of the food was cold and looked like it had been sat there for a while so that could be improved. There was also a lot of food on the floor for the duration of our stay?! The general atmosphere was subdued and flat around us. 1 of our party had a pushchair and struggled with entering/exiting as the lift was out of order so that was a big negative!! Finally the staff were friendly enough but when you are paying not far off £100 for 2 adults and 2 children, I would not expect any different!! Won't be returning in a hurry!!

Went there for a birthday celebration yesterday evening and found it very disappointing. We were a party of 8 who pre booked but found the quantity and selection lacking. Food wasnt replenished and not much left, desserts basically ran out before 8.45 and our booking was until 9.30. Also staff began cleaning the floor etc and told us at 9 that the buffet was closing in 15 mins so no further food or bottomless drinks available even though sign on the table said 9.30. We were not all able to get 10% blue light discount as paying separately but I think on this occasion we should have received it due to the lack of food available from 8pm.

Food was good and service was great friendly staff, a few people that are rude can spoil a Saturday afternoon though. Also your website states your OPEN weekdays and you are definitely NOT….. amend it

Good quality EAMAYL. I have several plates of Oriental food, there was a good choice. Indian food was limited to the usual basic foods. Good place for large groups, and well worth a visit, but there are better places in Oxford for food. But if you want a cheap meal and to fill up on a variety of foods, then this is the place.

I came to cosmos on Sat there was 5 of us...food was ok but wasn't very hot ...I don't like cold food ...

The food is okay, with classic dishes available. Prices are 23 pounds per person on Saturdays and 19 pounds on weekdays, drinks are extra.

Excellent range of foods with a big Asian selection...pleasant environment and good service.Drinks are a fair price.Dont arrive unless you hungry. In the teppannaki section there are some great choices though this can get busy.Also the Indian is very good too.

Seriously, avoid this place, please. The food is horrid. Best example of that would be the 'crispy' duck that was literally a pile of cold, wet mush. Food was lukewarm and some of it seemed barely cooked. No idea how this place has such high reviews.

well i advise Staying away from here if you don't want food poisoning, i was served raw chicken wings , i reported and blame trainees , all food was cold ,we got a refund and will never return disgusting food this place sould be shut down!!!!!!

Fantastic food, great range of dishes. Good Gluten free options as well and lot's of lovely desserts to choose from.

Where do I start. We came here for a littke bday celebration. Greeted by the front of house. First of all asking if we had reserved a table, we said no and she kind of growled we would have to pay upfront. It wasnt an issue, it was how it was said. They then tried to hard sell alcahol, and after 4 times saying we wanted A bottomless soft drinks they finally accepted and charged us. We were lead to a table. Considering we had gone around an hour and half after it had opene to the resturant was busy , you would consider the turn around of the food wpuld be good fresh and hot Sadly not.. Any fried food deep fried food was over cooked stale and cold. The bbq station if you want to try and call is rhodisio the meet was tough. Not onlt tough but they just warmed it on the grill from bringing ot from the fridge that was riased as an issue and they seemed to just put something i had bitten into back on the grill The only hot chinese food was the steamed section everything else lacked everything infact you got more taste from a microwave meal from aldi. My major worry is serviving shelfish at a temperature that didnt seemed monitored. And yes my stomach is paying for it today What i didnt understand. It was the consistancy if it was 10 mins before close. Felt the attemtion to detail was seriously lacking keeping food hot and also with taste The only one food item that was that. Was the curry. That had taste. It was also hot Staff were ok contstanly walking around felt theybwere overbearing at times Dessert was cold which and ironically the hot dessert items were warm Fir the price we have spent the same on better meals I went to a cosmo in a different area years ago and yes it was good. But this just seems a complete money grab as there was zero attention to the cooking zero attention of keeping food hot just a money grab as from reading other recent views on this place and others cosmo seemed to have not bothered with keeping the quality at the highest of levels whilst charging a premium price. And yes there are other world esk buffets do it better for cheaper.

Really enjoyed myself there everyone was so welcoming and very respectful. Food was great and great location.

Friendly and attentive staff and generally pleasant evening. However, I didn’t think the offering was that great. The “Ales” on offer was only Punk IPA in bottles. Indian food had nothing to excite someone who likes a bit of spice, not even so much as a Jalfrezi. Chinese food wasn’t bad but again, limited in choice. Food generally OK but nothing which really excited me. Can’t fault the staff but wouldn’t rush back personally.

Please stay away from this restaurant. I think all-you-can-eat buffets are a scam. I thought this one would be different from others, but it was a disappointment. There are lots of varieties, but the food is not good quality. They all look nice from the outside but inside not at good level. For nearly most of the food, there was a missing item inside. Most of it was tasteless. The ice cream was not like ice cream; it was sugarless. All the Chinese food was oily. The chips and hash browns were extremely oily. Please change the oil regularly; otherwise, we will get the same taste for all kinds of foods in the section. The pasta was unsalted. The red cabbage salad was extremely savory with no trace of cabbage flavor; it only tasted like vinegar. Some of the cherry tomatoes were moldy which put me off getting salad. For that much money, the quality of the food is terrible. It is too expensive. Even Lidl £0.80sh margarita pizzas are tastier. Unfortunately, the only tasty things were the tortilla crisps, cone of ice cream, and soft drink (which are all packaged items). Keep buying them from those brands! Please improve the quality of the food or reduce the variety to spend more time on improvement. I will not be coming back again.

Recommended by my family, we had to take a trip there. Well hidden & down the escalator from the main street near St Giles, you will find a huge hidden gem ! Very large restaurant( Best to book a table) but luckily, we found a table . 20 pounds eat as much as you want with an enormous variety of meals & desserts from different countries !

Last two visits to Cosmo was not a good experience, as the escalator wasn’t working and my over 80 years old family friend has to take the steps instead and was struggling. The table we were given was wobbly and moving to side by side as it was not balancing properly. There weren’t any desserts left at the end everything was empty. The food was ok, they had variety of cuisine.

I found it a bit frustrating. The place was very crowded and the food did not meet my expectations. There were few sushi options, a line and a wait to get a small portion of seafood and when it was my turn they had run out of scallops.

This food might satisfy Westerners, but it would spell failure in Asia

There are lots of options to choose from- Indian, Mexican, Italian, Chinese etc. If you have a good appetite and you are looking for variety, then it's 100% worth what you pay for. I would recommend the pork ribs, sweet corn soup and spicy aubergine- these are what I liked the best. Some of the desserts were quite good- again, lots of variety. The chocolate fountain was cool! I noticed that the kids were greatly enjoying the dessert section. A good place for family dinners. In general, the food is not bad, it's average in taste. The variety is the appeal, not the taste.

The Indian looking staff just rudely brush off against customer without apologizing while I was dining. Such rude behavior for service

Come here regularly whenever I'm in Oxford. It could do with more veggie options but there's still alot for me. The only problem I find is the staff often do not speak English well and don't understand what you're asking so after asking 5 people you might get somewhere.

Ate here when visiting the area. Some of the options available are different from my local one in Norwich, so it was a pleasant experience.

A great place to socialize with friends and family, the quality of the service is great, the staff is very helpful and attentive, regarding the food there is a huge variety of options and I believe it is impossible to try everything the restaurant offers, so the quality of the food ends up not being one of the greatest, but I recommend the place!

Great service, good foods, well seating for large group

Visited Oxford and after some drinks fancied some Chinese food. Google searched and this place was the closest with decent existing review ratings. When we arrived was very busy with 15 minutes wait but this was all very well explained so we waited in the bar with very engaging and welcoming bar staff. We really enjoyed our experience here, the buffet food was all very well presented with superb choices and all of good quality and great value for money. Will definitely re-visit and thanks to all the team at this Oxford restaurant . This was my first visit and you made a great first impression.

The quality of the food is not very high but it is sufficient. You can see the prices you attached photos. I would not recommend it if you are not very hungry. You can sit with a large group and eat comfortably. Drinks except water are not included in the price. St Giles car park is very close if you have a car you can leave it there.

Amazing atmosphere but some food was cold and not a lot of options though there was a lot of fish. Drinks were payed for seperatly but its paying for the cup and you can fill as many times. A few ajustmants needed . Ice cream and popcorn machines out of order I would go agian but i dont like fish.

Popped to cosmo's all you can eat in Oxford tonight! ABSOLUTE waste of time and money. The food quality was disgusting. Food was Cold, pancakes for the duck were dry and falling apart.had to come home and make food. The manager came out with a food probe started probing all the food and said the food was up to temperature trying to insinuate that I was making it up.. what I was stating was the food was cold not cooked cold and the quality of the food was shoddy. £50 left hungry and was told all he could do is give me 25% of my bill back. Not happy and will not being going back. I have a big social media following and I'll be making it known that the service and the food quality was certainly not worth the money! To be told all they can do is give me £12.25 back is laughable. I was under the impression I was dealing with the manager until he said if I wanted more than £12.25 back I'd have to speak to the actual manager. Shocking!
