Literally the worst. So dry, bland, cold and inedible which says a lot from us. Do not take deer from them! Waste of money and still hungry!

Once again, Tse did not disappoint me with the authentic Chinese foods and excellent service. The whole family absolutely enjoyed the experience of dining in Tse.

Rarely am i so impressed. This family run chinese in forest hill is a cut above in terms of service snd food quality. Fresh, thoughtful and skilled cooking in the kitchen with thr most friendly snd helpful front of house i dont think ive had such a great chinese restaurant experience for years. Too often the spring rolls are factory made and stodgy but the moment our starter came and they were fresh, light, homemade and tatsy i knew we were in for a treat. Thanks for all your hard work team, well be back snd recommending to others

We booked our usual pre xmas get together with family and close friends at TSE's. Yesterday was amazing. Fantastic food and service as usual. We always look forward to visiting there every year. A very friendly, cosy atmosphere as usual. I would not go anywhere else and highly recommend this lovely restaurant.

Tse's is by far the best Chinese restaurant in London. The staff are very friendly, the service is excellent and the food is absolutely amazing. Oh and the prices won't break the bank either.

We've been dining at this quaint restaurant for a number of years now. The quality and varied dishes never fail to impress. The staff are very attentive and willing to please. We'll keep on coming here as long as Tse's is still in business. Highly recommended.

Been eating in Tse's for couple of years and it's as good as any Chinese restuarnt I've been to. Warm, friendly, family run place. Unusual items on the menu, such as waxi ribs which are delicious, and high quality old favourites. I'll be going back!

It was so nice to have the standard back to what we have been used to over the last 18 years and our last order must have been a blip. Welcome back to a great service and great tasting food!

Lovely food and even though there was a mistake with our latest order this is unusual and they sorted it quickly without any argument. The best salt and pepper tofu I have found around here. Will order again.

Sweet and sour chicken was very hard. Refried hard. 8 year olds are major food critics. Chicken balls 10/10. Rice 10/10. Starters 10/10 (remember from restaurant sit down) Overall, highly recommended.

The crispy lamb smelled awful and the sauce with it tasted and looked completely wrong. Squid batter was hard and too deep and the other dishes were just bland. No idea why anybody rates this place when Fu House is just round the corner and is SO much better!

Nearly an hour and a half for a takeaway?! Called the restaurant after an hour and 10 minutes and was asked if I could come and collect it!!!!! Then was told I didn’t give my address??!! We - it was ordered for delivery on Just Eat??? The food itself was ok not impressed with overall experience.

Very poor quality food for the price. Chicken balls were really over fried so the batter was too crispy and the chicken pieces way too small. The rice was also not the usual standard.

One of the main dishes delivered was incorrect (we received 2 x rice instead of a rice and a main), the restaurant was pretty unhelpful about this. refused to refund, offered to deliver it "next time" but I explained there wouldn't be a next time, so we had to accept the main dish an hour later than the rest of the meal. They insisted the wrong dish was returned. The meal as a whole was pretty much ruined. I was Offered a single can of coke as an apology. Food was fresh but lacking in taste.

Fried rice unfortunately had no taste very bland. Wonton soup was also bland. Was very disappointed as food is normally good. Maybe more flavour to the food.

Disappointing. The food was late but that can be forgiven if it was of good quality. Sadly, it wasn’t. Ordered twice before from this takeaway and the food was much better.

Excellent Meal and good management and recommended Chef. Been looking for a good Chinese restaurant locally - this one works. Prawn crackers, egg fried rice, sweet and sour prawns, Ho Fun noodles beef and black bean sauce - Aubergines - all beautifully cooked, nice and warm without too much oil or salt. Would recommend a collection rather than a delivery. Very nice Manager too. well done.

Order from Tse’s a lot and they have been great

Food just not up to our usual standard provided by Mayflower West Dulwich (which was closed at the time). Food didn’t have much flavour. Singapore noodles weren’t even Singapore

We've ordered from Tse a few times and it's usually really good. Sadly not the case this evening. The sweet and sour chicken was very chewy and the steamed rice was the same. Hopefully this was just a one off.

I have ordered from Tses before, but this was the first time through Just Eat. I really enjoy the chicken and steamed aubergine in fish sauce. Will order again.

I am so disappointed with the food I received from Tse's this evening. The won ton soup was ok but the salt and pepper spare ribs were not at all good. They were dry and overcooked and I'd hazard a guess that they were possibly a reheated batch, certainly not freshly cooked. Not nice at all. The crispy aromatic duck was not much better, again very dry and I found I was spitting out little bits of bone. I have had food from Tse's before and it's been fine but this time it was very poor quality. It was bad enough for me to say I will not order from them again. Delivery was on time but maybe that's because they don't get many orders! Just awful.

I usually enjoy a takeaway from this restaurant. However on this occasion there were a few things I was not happy with. TSE being one of the more expensive Chinese in the locality should provide a better size food portion. I was given 4 ribs in a container with hardly any meat. Unfortunately I don’t eat bone. The special fried rice was not only bland but cold. The squid portion was so small it was rattling around in the container. TSE you need to be a bit more generous to your costumers considering your prices. I won’t be ordering in the near future. Valerie.

Great food, delivered nice and hot and within good time. It's not the cheapest around but I prefer but it was one of the most enjoyable Chinese take away I have had for a while.

Hands down the best chinese restaurant in the area. ;) Ive been ordering from here for years, they do really cool dishes that aren't always available at your typical chinese takeaway; like aubergine and fried bean curd. Its always delicious as well. I dont know why anyone is talking badly of them the food speaks for itself.

Terrible service. Arrived 20 mins late and then no sauce for duck pancakes. When I called to ask them to deliver it staff member kept arguing that it was there even though I checked multiple times. Initially refused to deliver then said it would take 30 minutes which was too late as I was going to work (and takeaway is only 10 mins away). Very rude and will never use them again - do not order from here

Food was great as always. Only confusion was identifying the menu items between tses website and the just eat app. Otherwise an excellent delivery and meal.

I live in east London and work in south, I really recommend their vegetarian options, I have also ordered their ribs for my friends and they where fresh and good size portion. Slightly overpriced but you cannot taste MSg or grease in their food and you. The driver who deliver the food is polite and punctual.

The food was over 45 minutes late and just warm. I called the restaurant when the food was 15 minutes late and was told I couldn’t expect food to be delivered on time! I was told that the food was still in the restaurant and that there was no one to deliver it. I contacted Just Eat and they called them. I waited but nothing. I rang the restaurant a second time and they said that the head chef was delivering the food, which he did, some time later. My wife is pregnant and we had three hungry children. Not acceptable.

After months of searching for a "good" Chinese restaurant, me and my partner came across this hidden gem whilst visiting Forest Hill. Ever since, we have been regulars at Tses. Whenever we visit, we are always offered the same table, fast service and good quality food. The menu offers a good selection of classic dishes, however, nothing too exciting, and also a buffet option. The food is average priced but the quality is amazing. The combo meals are always great value for money and the portions are just right! The restaurant itself is clean, quiet and embellished with an authentic Chinese decor. Each time we've visited the restaurant, it has been very quiet ( I've never seen more than 4 tables ). The restaurant plays calm background music and has a waterfall/ pond in the entrance area which adds to the overall relaxed vibe. Overall, an amazing hidden eatery and very recommended!

Delicious food, not greasy at all. However I don’t agree with the price of the combination dishes for the portion size you get. I have been to other Chinese takeaways that sell the same things but for £3 cheaper.

Ordered sin har fun steamed dumplings and was absolutely disappointed with what I got. Could only have 1 dumpling as they tasted like flour-y chicken

Food arrived late, when I answered the door to the driver he just asked me to sign for the food, no hello or apologies for the late delivery. I also phoned the restaurant regarding where my food was and was just told my food is on its way. Bare in mind I've used this restaurant many times in person and they are usually very good. Via online their service is lacking. What I ordered didn't appear to be the same quality as other Chinese I also order from.

The aubergine in black bean sauce also had no flavour and came with a layer of oil about 2cms thick. Would never order from here again, food was disgusting. Worst Chinese I’ve ever had.

I don't think I'll order this restaurant again. Bad customer service. Food delayed nearly 3hours. Ridiculous.

I proceeded to explain that one was in the bin as I had already begun eating it before I realised the mistake. I was then told to take the packaging out of the bin if I wanted my food as the restaurant wanted to the packaging. After arguing for 15 minutes, I was finally given my food. I was completely outraged at the service.

The food took an hr and a half before I finally got it and then it was not what I ordered, the food was cold it was just awful, I said I don't want it refund it I was told you have to do it online and conveniently just eat wouldn't load the page to talk to them any more, very angry and disappointed with the service from this restaurant and just eat.

Tried it for the first and probably the last time today. All I wanted was a bowl of soup, which when it came arguably wasn't bad. Was told that I should have to take it away. Despite the fact that there were maybe two people sitting in the entire restaurant which on a Sunday lunch time I dare say speaks for itself. So fine, I sit and wait for twenty minutes as I was hungry. Go to leave and had to point out that the server was trying to charge me more than was listed on the menu.

However, I was really disappointed with my last order because Tse's food portions have reduced incredibly and the same food I used to order was not enough for us. It was the tiniest crispy duck with pancakes portion I've ever seen and my children did not get enough. I usually order beef with black Bean sauce or something, but we always order crispy duck for the children. It was not enough. I almost rang in to say they've mixed my order up, but remembered the driver had my receipt with the instructions on so knew they didn't mix it up! Less food, higher price :(
