Just what we needed on a cold wet February Sunday night!

SO BAD DON’T EVEN BOTHER GOING. They was so rude to my family and the food was absolutely horrible and it made me feel very sick and I only had a little bite of it and it was disgusting. The staff was picking her nose over nose over the counter for about 5 minutes that put us off the food. Took them 30 minutes to set up our table just to our plates and cutlery out. AVOID AVOID AVOID. We had to end up leaving before we had a chance to eat our food!!!!!!!

Used to be really good. Constantly missing items and being told "they will maybe replace it next time" an absolute disgrace.

Really tasty, there is also a karaoke room downstairs if it’s your kind of thing!

Organised a group of 25 for dinner at JinJiang and was very pleased with everything! The food was delicious, service was on point, staff was friendly and accommodating, would highly recommend! Thank you for a lovely dinner! 😄

Yummy. Upper end of the price spectrum. Worth it? Hell yeah. 2023 edit: Visited with my friends. The in-person experience was more than expected, having known this place mostly for the delivery food. Yes, I recommend!! Especially the spicy aromatic dry chicken (Ma La) is worth the visit.

We weren't going to visit because of the low TripAdvisor review but im glad we looked at the Google review for this restaurant instead. 3.5 stars out of 5 is does not reflect how fabulous the staff and food is here. They were so friendly, chatty, they turned on moving goldfish lights to entertain my 3 year old son AND the food was delicious. Would definitely recommend.

Absolutely gorgeous! I always visit any Sichuan restaurants I come across, as I am obsessed with sichuan style Gong Bao. This hit the spot with really satisfying flavours - spicy & super tasty. I will be making a detour to visit again the next time I am in London :) Very quick service, and lovely refreshing decor too, although I just had take out as I was travelling alone.

This is truly a gem of a restaurant in the Deptford area, and I’ve visited this place 5-6 times already. The dishes are so authentic and delicious. These are some of my favourite dishes: the grilled spicy fish is divine, I love the spicy aubergine, kung pao chicken, green beans with minced pork, and salmon fish head tofu soup! The service is also amazing! Esther is usually the one serving us and she’s so friendly and funny, and the lady boss is also really sweet and nice. I highly recommend Jinjiang :)

It is difficult to find a place to eat when you have consumption restrictions. The staff was very kind and made excellent recommendations and accommodations towards my food allergies and sensitivity. Make sure you come here for some great food and atmosphere! This is definitely better than many places back across the pond. My permanent go-to for food! 🤩😍🤩😋🍽🥢

Really fantastic dining experience. They specialise in Sichuan cuisine and do so very well, the fish in chilli oil was incredibly flavorful, the Dan Dan noodles were great. The staff were very friendly and happy to chat if you wanted, also they gave good recommendations. Would recommend to anyone looking for proper Sichuan food!

I honestly don’t normally like eating out but stopped in after work with colleagues and the client and wow was I Amazed First the woman & gentlemen who severed us was polite friendly and all round made us feel welcome which you hardly get anywhere nowadays 2. The food was phenomenal come out pipping hot fresh and was delicious worth every penny 3 the projector in side that shows an amazing display of some amazing koi is eye catching Would recommend to anyone with 100% confidence you’ll enjoy it as much as I did

Come hungry and leave with a full belly and a satisfied heart. We love to order a range of dishes to share and take delight in the different textures and flavours on offer at JinJiang. Our favourites are spicy DanDan noodles, creamy smacked cucumber, punchy prawns and beautiful black fungus. They’ve recently renovated the inside so now the ambience is as good as the food. You must come and eat here.

Life affirming. Great new decor, exceptional service and the food is a one way ticket to flavour town. Highly recommend

Love this place! The food has always been so good, we were really happy to see they had reopened with a refurb. The new decor is very calm and elegant. It makes for a really lovely night out.

Such tasty food - not the standard gluggy Chinese takeaway stereotype. We had smashed cucumber (so delicious), salt& pepper squid (light & flavourful), braised pork with preserved vegetables (rich, deep sauce) and mapo tofu (silky & hot but not too hot). Friendly service & such an interesting range of dishes on the menu. A really wonderful meal. Will definitely be back.

From the moment I stepped into 'Jin Jiang,' the warm and inviting ambiance, new interior design, and extensive selection of traditional Chinese dishes like their famous Grilled fish and Sichuan chicken, along with their commitment to cleanliness, made for a delightful and memorable dining experience—highly recommended! My favorite in Deptford.

点了水煮牛肉和毛血旺，让老板加辣之后超级好吃，终于在伦敦吃到辣到满意的菜了！分量也很大，店里的人态度也很好。下次来尝尝辣鸡子和水煮鱼！原有的店面在装修，现在临时的店也是可以堂食的，和老板娘说堂食就会支一个桌子出来，就可以吃啦！

Really good Chinese food, big portions and good price in London.

I totally agree with the review of Charles Campbell a day ago about the dish Gong Bao Chicken with Peanut: it is VERY spicy and really inedible for the British palate. The dish really is made up of dried red chillis, and green peppercorns (see picture of just some of the chillis being picked out). It would have been tasty if it really had 1 chilli symbol, but this dish is clearly at least 4 chillis and come with a health warning. The other dish was beef brisket with tomato, which was very nice.

This was our first order from Jin Jiang - and we will definitely order from them again. The quality was good ...and tasty. The special chow mein was really good. But beware! - the Gong Bao Chicken, while very tasty, is VERY spicy! The portion is literally half chilli. The "One Chilli" symbol should be Three. I agree with other reviews - probably tge best Chinese in South London.

I do feel as though the standard of food has gone downhill here. It used to be excellent but everything tasted and smelled like it was cooked in old oil.

Not much to look at from the outside but popped in and had an amazingly delicious twice cooked pork and rice. Fresh, spicy, different, tasty. Totally hit the spot.

Water boiled beef in spicy chilli oil was totally amazing.

Had the sea spicy pork and aubergine for lunch. Both far too sweet and went on the bin unfortunately.

This is a gem. Authentic, rich menu. Get your palate to spin. But refrain if you have a penchant for the dull Chinese cuisine developed for the European palate in the 60s (spring rolls and chow mein).

Amazing experience. Waitress was so nice and friendly and answered any question about our meal perfectly. Highly recommend the salt and pepper shredded chicken, and sweet and sour chicken dish was also amazing. Absolutely going again!!!

Really like the food here, some dishes are hit and miss but it’s been our go to for a Chinese takeout a few times now, the spicy dumplings are delicious! However, all of the food comes in lots of plastic Tupperware and after realising we were getting stacked up with a lot of unnecessary plastic, we unfortunately will have to find a new go to.

Spicy Crab is extremely spicy and overcooked. The skin already sticked to the shells and you won’t even enjoy having it, once you peeled it, it taste old and somehow hard. The dumplings taste clean and the special lunch set menu are not recommended if you want to experiment. The drinks are too expensive, we should have known before ordering. 😅 Overall, we were disappointed. We visited on a Saturday lunchtime and we are freezing inside, you can’t tell the difference from outside.

Fantastic restaurant with friendly staff and excellent service. The aubergines, crispy chicken and cumin lamb are highlights... along with the spicy dumplings! I look forward to going there again and would say that eat in is a great experience!

Excellent, best Sichuan food I've had.

I was working locally in the area for a whole month. I couldn't fault any of the dishes they served me. i loved it so much, I went there THREE TIMES A WEEK - Every week! The staff were/are very polite and very engaging with all there customers, and I saw many regulars that were also coming in, as they called them by there names. Would highly recommend it, and I will be back there again next time I'm in the area. Spot on 10/10.

Truly delicious Szechuan food. Every dish we've tried so far has been incredible, but by far the stand outs have been the sea spicy aubergine with pork and better yet, the spicy dumplings (pictured). The dumplings are a unique dish that I've not encountered else where, and the staff inform me it's their own recipe. I found myself hoarding the sauce in my rice bowl through fear it might get taken away. 100% must try.

the service is great and friendly, they are very tolerant of kids, and the food is delicious and much better range than your standard sweet and sour pork and lemon chicken. I particularly love the vegatable based dishes (not necessarily vegatarian) also best hot and sour soup I've had in London

Had frog 🐸 legs in dry-wok!! It was amazing. The boss and waitresess are very friendly, nice and fun. We had great time there.

Everything about this restaurant was awful in everything... I ordered from deliveroo and I got my food almost 2 hours later AND, most importantly, I got a food intoxication from it... and I usually never suffer of these things...

This isn't your average Chinese takeaway. The food is spicy and although there are some familiar dishes, the majority of the menu is dedicated to specialty dishes from northern china. Expect dried and fresh chilies along with peppercorns that while not overwhelming certainly pack a punch. For those who want something a bit milder, there are cooler dishes. My only criticism is that for vegetarian, and vegan dinners, the menu makes no distinction as to what has meat or not. The food does cost more than your generic takeaway, but simply put, you're getting what you pay for here. Step out of your comfort zone and experience something very special.

I ordered some food worth £26 for takeaway. At no time was the delivery charge revealed, not even at checkout. I was so surprised to find out, after I had paid by credit card, that a £5 delivery charge had been added plus a 30p “service charge” (what service? This was a takeaway!). To make doubly sure that I hadn’t just overlooked the charges, I went back to the website and I can confirm that these charges aren’t shown ANYWHERE on the website. I feel like I’ve been swindled - which effectively I have been. Suffice to say I will never do business with them again.

Absolutely beautiful, high quality Chinese food! I discovered this little gem based on a recommendation and our takeaway did not disappoint, neither did the service. Esther was an absolute pleasure & took very good care of us! I was delighted to find a spicy seaweed salad on the menu & it was especially amazing, but my husband & I loved everything we ordered. We are really looking forward to trying more dishes & enjoying an in-person meal at JinJiang shortly!

It seems negative reviewers here are not familiar with Sichuanese food and have made some quite foolish remarks about the food at Jin Jiang. If you want authentic regional Chinese food then you will not be disappointed. If you want standard Chinese takeaway then you'd be better off going somewhere else.

the food is very good but delivery is very bad. it happened twice now they can't find my address although it is very easy and not complicated at all ! I ordered at 6 pm and at 7pm still no delivery
