Blossom House in Croydon

The delivery was late and the food was not hot so we had to reheat it. It tasted very nice, but it was annoying that it took so long and was almost cold.

Food was very disappointing beef and tofu tasted unfresh and salad with duck was off and slimey not happy.

Chicken chow mein and sweet and sour chicken very good. I think I would of preferred if the egg fried rice was fried more or a bit more egg

Chefs special hand made noodles with king prawns at just under £13 were not hand made. Were Amoy ready to wok thick noodles or similar. No king prawns! Overall poor. Very expensive for below average fòod with little authenticity in atmosphere less room. Avoid.

Reviewers claiming this is a good Chinese or the best in Croydon have obviously never eaten authentic Chinese food, or even good "western" chinese food. No chopsticks or bowls to eat from just small plates & fork/spoon was the first warning sign. Just 2 of us eating in. Empty otherwise with a few take away orders going out. You'd do better buying jars of sauce & packets of noodles in the supermarket & cooking at home.

Family meal for 4 of us. We had 2 set meals, the food was all delicious, apart from the chicken in satay sauce, but as i say, the rest was really nice. It was a Tuesday night so unsurprisingly quiet, but the server was friendly and attentive

Ordered at 18:30 and it turned up at 20:20 stone cold and horrible. The ribs were so black it looked like charcoal . Disgusting food

Ordered an evening delivery through Uber Eats for a family meal. Delivery estimate was 30-50 minutes but it took 1.5 hours, which ruined our plans for the evening. Food was fairly good but some of it was quite greasy. Disappointing that there were no little extras you normally get from a Chinese delivery like prawn crackers or fortune cookies, especially when we spent over £70 and it was so late

Delicious food, very generous portion sizes. Driver followed instructions, was friendly & was on time.

Awful service tonight. Food arrived 2 hours 25 mins after ordering arrived cold. Normally such a good restaurant.

Wow! What a brilliant Chinese! And an even better family run business. My family, and I accidentally ordered outside of the delivery (pickup) hour. Not only did the owners ring me and arrange to hand deliver our order, they did so well out of hour. Absolutely brilliant food, and even better customer service. Will be highly recommending them to our friends. Thankyou again, our family is very grateful x

Waited way over 2hrs for our delivery, eventually food arrived which was the wrong order. I called the restaurant and was informed they only have one driver. I think Just Eat needs to check whether restaurants can meet the demands for delivery service.

The pork belly was overcooked and the pricing of the menu was overpriced.

Delivery was shocking. I gave 2.5 hours notice of the requested delivery time, and they still managed to deliver over an hour late. Really, really poor service. Have used a fair bit in the past, but ths is becoming common place so won't use again.

Tried a takeaway from them and it was excellent, good taste, good portion size, excellent content and fair prices, to be recommended.

Delivery was the only good thing , wrong item sent when I called the restaurant they agreed it was wrong , offered credit but I asked for a refund which was eventually agreed but a week later still no communication or refund

First time trying this place and found the food to be delicious. Had Chicken Chow Mein, Duck with Mushrooms and King Prawn Balls in Batter with Sweet & Sour Sauce. Batter was so fresh and slightly crunchy. The sauce with the duck dish was so delicious. Chow Mein also very nice indeed. Very fast delivery too and food was piping hot when it arrived. Very impressed

Just had the worst vile pork chow main was meant to be large but was small rip off chicken balls rock solid batter all you could taste was grease sweet and sour sauce was just vinegar absolutely disgusting won’t be returning I will stick to my usual shop

Always excellent quality. This time wasn’t as good as usual which was disappointing but we’ll give them another go and hope it was just a one off.

We ordered a take away after a strong recommendation by one of our sons and his wife. The online menu is great and simple to use, the prices sensible, the food was ready at the time predicted and was simply delicious. We will be back!!

Delicious and hot! Beautifully cooked with quality ingredients. Takeaway is a treat for us we rarely have as prices have increased so much. I have to say that the portion sizes were decent and was reasonably priced

Although the food was delivered just under an hour and a half early. I called and expanded the error. Hats off to Blossom House they offered to redo my order and re delivered it at the correct time. What a pleasure. The food was very good. Would recommend and reuse again.

If I’d wanted the meal at 6pm I would have ordered it for 6pm. We wanted to eat at 7pm. No point in ordering in advance if restaurant takes no notice of delivery time requested and delivers 1 hour early.

Unbelievably bad Wonton. Not only was there a distinct lack of filling. The 1 prawn that was in there was actually CUT IN HALF. I was astonished to find that level of cost cutting, never seen nothing like it. I've had Wontons before in China Town up in London and know what to expect and its definitely not these. These were an absolute joke. The audacity to actually make and sell these is beyond me. I essentially paid £6.50 for crackers. I might as well bought a pack of Jacobs. I've ordered before and was disappointed, don't know why I did again. Stung twice now and will not make that mistake again. HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Everything was good except from the sweet and sour chicken which tasted off.

The food was really bad. The wonton had no filling. The ribs were dry. The sweet and sour balls were so overcooked. It was a complete disaster. It was expensive and.uber eats charged more than the website ( but only uber eats would deliver). I've never eaten such poor quality Chinese in my life.

I read the reviews and decided to try Blossom House. How I regret taking notice of any of the reviews. The wontons had no filling. The ribs were dry and had actually got the point were they were crunchy! The vegetable spring rolls had nothing but bean sprout in them. The sweet and sour prawns were overcooked, making the prawns dry and chewy and the batter was thick and crunchy ( not crispy). The special rice was underwhelming. Overall the worst chinese that I have ever had. Expensive and dreadful. Avoid this place like the plague.

Both my daughter and I had very bad upset stomachs afetr eating this takeaway, it's normally great but after last night I'll not use them again!

The deep fried tofu in black bean sauce wasn't what we expected, it wasn't deep fried and it came with beef in it! Not good for a vegan. Everything else was very nice.
