Absolutely love Crown and Pepper. I’ve been going there for years now and it has never failed to impress me. The staff are amazing and the vibe is wonderful no matter if you go during the day or evenings. I always love going to Crown for either cheeky drinks or their yummy food. The food is always delicious. I had a great experience with choosing Buddha Lounge for my daughter’s 1st birthday. Jaimin made sure that everything was on time and the service was on point.

Yet in the front there is a vision to customer care, once we sat the staff came once to take the drink order and never seen again, indeed we had a new person joint later on. The food had to be ordered at the bar area, while the food was very nice and huge amount the taste was overly spicy. Even though I love spicy, it was just way too much. Also we asked if it could be changed to roti instead of naan, they still brought naan but hidden under the food.

I’m so disappointed with my order. I called to say I did not receive the rice with order! To my amazement they insisted the rice was with the order and that I was the one mistaken! I continued for 5 minutes arguing that the order I did not come with the rice. After another 5 minutes I was told to take it up with Deliveroo because they could not send me the rice!! I’m so annoyed, that I was made to feel like I was lying and that there was nothing more they could do! I had to eat the sweet and sour chicken with no rice Please do not order from Crown & Pepper you will regret it!

Had an amazing experience there - booked a table of 14 and they were so accommodating and service was incredibly fast. The food was incredible best Chinese I’ve had!

Food is mix of Indian and Chinese but food is really good! We had salt and pepper King prawns,house special noodles,lamb with ginger and spring onion, special fried rice, large and regular diet coke totalled £53. Plus we took loads home with us. What we would have paid for a usual Chinese just with added bonus of awesome service, pretty nice atmosphere and no washing up too! Btw restaurant is HUGE so no hassle getting a table, just walk in off street. Get yourselves down there!

Crown and pepper has incredible food and a wonderful vibe. It has an ambience inside that is welcoming and feels like a return to home and has a lovely and spacious beer garden for those warm summer evenings

Absolutely fantastic. Always love it here but tonight they made us feel extra comfortable and looked after us for my daughter's birthday. The food was delicious and children had so much fun. Special thanks to Harishma especially who took care of us all.

The Crown and Papers pub in Croydon is spot on. It has an amazing party vibe with a massive crowd, making it a great spot for groups. The drinks and food are reasonably priced, and the venue itself is spacious. Every corner has TVs showing live games, and the music adds to the lively atmosphere. Service is great and fast, efficient. The food is delicious, and I highly recommend trying the sexy chips they are superb, especially with a cold beer! Overall, a fantastic pub experience. Highly recommend!

Had a fantastic night on Friday for a family catch up. Food was terrific, full of flavour and generous sized portions. Great ambience with a live singer on a Friday with a general relaxed environment. Jaimin and his team looked after us all night adapting dishes to our preferences.

This weekend it was my first visit to the Crown and pepper and we was there Friday night and all day Saturday and Saturday evening food was absolutely amazing. The bar staff works so hard and also so polite. The atmosphere is brilliant and the puppet itself is absolutely spotless to clean. I would certainly recommend this to anyone.

One of the very best local pubs in Croydon or date I say it... South London. Friendly, seriously tasty food and good pricing. If you like sports on TV. Especially cricket all football then this is the Mecca of South London. The pub serves a mix of Indian and Chinese food. On average almost all plates are served at a cost of less than £10. Public is divided into 4 sections. Front bar, a very busy kitchen with lounge / dining area. At the back you have the Buddha bar ideal for parties and functions. The premises also has an external beer garden. Well worth the visit.

Bar staff are really friendly and polite. The food here is great. A nice spot to watch the sports, ample screens to show all the football.

Way too crowded. Literally cramped up in such a tiny space. Feels like they are trying to cater to way too wide of an audience. It's either dining, or bar or sports bar... chose one OR make adjustments on the premises so the different parts of the bar aren't interfering with each other. Also staffs were a bit annoyed and looked way too overworked. Regardless the food was good.

Jaimin and his team are amazing. The overall experience is fantastic. The food is delicious and the events space at the back is a Big WOW! perfect for intimate wedding, social events and networking gatherings.The event space offers a private bar with an area for up to 120 people sit down with a lovely terrace and natural light and modern, stylish furniture, If you need to organise an event with the London vibes you are definitely in the right place with knowledgeable staff which will make sure your event is unforgettable as every member of the team is very professional and polite. Highly recommended.

Had dinner on Monday with a group of friends. Great variety of Indo/Chinese food excellently cooked and well presented. Good value for money. Definitely go again.

Visited with 6 friends food was excellent with a mixture of Indian spicy dishes for starters and Chinese for main sharing our dishes between us ..the atmosphere in the pub is very relaxed and the service was excellent will definitely return

I had a lunch date with a girlfriend. The staff was able to accommodate me and my 4 month old baby. The lamb curry was really tasty.

I enjoyed the atmosphere there, I was with friends and felt like I could be relaxing there for longer. The food was very enjoyable and they do a fusion of food. Chinese style, Indian and British. Not bad, price wise is also affordable. I had a delicious drinks.

They have a great party venue at the back. The vendors had put their heart and soul to make our event a success. All our guests had a lovely time. The service was great. The acoustics in the room are very good. There are large high quality screens around the room to project photo etc on ghe screen. The bar is well stocked. The food was fresh and delicious and I kept wanting to eat more and more.

They have a wide variety of food, the ataff are nice and friendly. The dishes were alright. I felt the plates could have been cleaner.

This is one of our favourite places to eat. It’s a pub/restaurant with both an Indian and Chinese menu, and the cooks do both cuisines perfectly. All staff are excellent and Harishma is often there with a warm welcome and friendly service! We definitely recommend! Reservations can often be necessary.

I kept my birthday dinner at Crown and Pepper Restaurant with family, friends, and staff. It was a great experience, and everyone had an amazing time. The foods were delicious foods and I was happy that everyone enjoyed the food. I will encourage everyone to use crown and pepper venue if you would like a friendly and warm environment. The staff demonstrated a friendly approach, and the atmosphere is great. Thank you, crown and pepper, for having us there. We have already booked our staff Christmas party there. Me and my family visited this restaurant and bar on Friday for a Halloween theme party. It was an amazing experience, the kids loved it and everyone had a great time together. Great staff and amazing food, would recommend for family’s and friends.

The food here was super tasty as always. There are so many vegan options, my favourites being the salt and pepper tofu, vegetable chow main and cauliflower manchurian! Harishma was really friendly and attentive with our service, and we were made to feel really welcome. Great food, great service and great atmosphere! Highly recommended!

We held a 40th birthday party for my partner here a couple of days ago in the Buddha Lounge and it was everything we could have asked for. The atmosphere was great, the room layout was fantastic and everyone enjoyed their food. Thanks again to the team and everyone that helped set up and serve us on the night. I’d highly recommend hiring out the Buddha Lounge for an event!
