The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Chinese food

A wonderful place for dinner and celebrate my Mums 89th Birthday. It was very busy. Food was great. Chocolate fountain a huge hit. I would def recommend here for either Lunch or dinner

I was a bit hesitant after reading some of the reviews, but I’m so glad I gave the Eastern Oriental Buffet a try! The food was very good, with a great selection of dishes that were fresh and flavorful. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. I would definitely go again and happily recommend it to others. A great choice for a tasty and enjoyable meal!

We went party of 5 for my daughter 12th,the food was dry,well over cooked and some stuff was just to spicey for children,I also have autistic child so she ended up hardly eating anything,the oldest female memeber of staff then proceed to shout saying the kids have wasted to much food even though the bill was about to be over £100 we explained why she shouted again for a fair few people to hear that we should pay more for the 2 plates that wernt touched due to taste and spice,she then shut up when we told her to go and give it to the homeless as the bill will be paid anyway doesn't matter if we wasted food we can't eat,I still paid for it all,again like I said it was my daughters 12th so she obviously ruined the atmosphere we left after that,it's disgusting place got worse over the years and that staff memeber should not be serving specially to children,nasty women.

Used to love this place, however will never order again. Ordered all dishes marked as vegan and found a piece of meat in one of the dishes.

I’ve been using them for decades but tonight I watched one of the chefs take food from a white bowl with his bare hands, put it in his mouth, and then spit it back into the bowl. He even saw me (a customer) before he did this. Won’t ever go back, I can’t after seeing that. Genuinely disgusted and the fact they don’t pay tax/cash only says a lot

Well it closed recently and had been flattened to the ground. To be replaced with new residential. Alternative in Sherburn in Elmet.

We have been here 2 times this year including Valentines Day. Always great food and good service. The food is fresh and cooked to order with excellent tastes. Nothing is too much trouble. The restaurant is always busy, the staff work hard and no real waiting, just be realistic when busy. Will always keep going back here.!!!

Firstly let me add I am Vegan, and luckily in this day and age, it is very rare to have a problem getting something decent when eating out no matter the restaurant. However, there were barely any vegan options at all! I had a plate of Pak Choi (so overcooked and dripping in what looked like slug juice) and broccoli with a few luke-warm chips. The only vegan pudding was some fruit. All that for £20.99. Genuinely the worst meal of my life! As for the staff, the main guy that dealt with our table was so rude he clearly didn't want to be there. When they wanted us to leave they literally told us to leave (we'd been there 1h 40mins - not sure what the limit is) and I swear they put the cold air-con on as it suddenly became freezing cold. For balance, there were 6 of us at the table and I was the only vegan. Everyone else said their food was 'ok'. But personally, this was honestly the worst eating out experience I have ever had in my life. As for cleanliness, my table was sticky and when I went for a wee, my legs were slowly spreading apart on the greasy floor.

We'd eaten here on several occasions in the past when the restaurant was known by another name. Unfortunately, it's not as good as we found previously and there are plenty of other options to choose from. We found the food to be quite bland and under seasoned.

He estado aquí hace muchos años No impresionado solo tomar dinero en efectivo ahora y tuvimos un paseo justo para recogerlo volvió a nuestro apartamento para encontrar costillas faltantes que claramente pedimos ya que preguntan a med si dulce y agrio o sal y pimienta. Llamé para decir desaparecido pero ella no estaba teniendo nada de eso así que caminé de vuelta y me dijeron que no ordenado Dije que eran como usted preguntó qué tipo Actitud muy alejada y no muy amigable acabó consiguiéndolos pero fue una batalla. La comida en general estaba bien ahora no es especial El servicio de atención al cliente salió por la ventana. Estará dando una falta la próxima vez

the whole block is closed due to redevelopment. let's hope the area is improved without delay as the main entrance to Oxford from the railway station is turning into an embarrassment.

We find that these guys go through phases. Some times the food is fantastic some times it’s questionable, the rice was so over cooked it was just mush and the mixed meat chow main was lacking in mixed meat, mainly prawns. The gravy however is still spot on. Portion sizes are also lacking.

Cannot comment on the venue as we had delivery. Delivery review: Website easy to use, but not most clear. For example, when ordering battered chicken balls, it doesn't say that it comes with sweet and sour sauce. We ordered extra as a side just in case. (Not a problem though as we will use it, just an added expense we didn't need.) Comments to chef box is redundant. We put "No mushrooms please." and a dish had mushrooms which was disappointing. My husband is intolerant and they make him very ill, so he couldn't have any of that dish. Portion sizes are smaller than our usual Chinese, and more expensive. We thought we would try a new place but yeah, wish we had stuck to our regular. Tracker on delivery is unclear, not a true tracker. It has progress bar, that goes from order accepted, cooking, being delivered, complete. It reached the complete stage and we started to worry our food had been delivered to the wrong address. Turns out it was just delayed due to Valentine's. (Expected, but the phoney tracker like thing on the page tricked us.) Took 45 minutes longer than the expected delivery time. (Again, we expected this so not missing starts due to this. Valentine's is busy.)

always usually good but an hour and 20 minutes late. not an experience I will now repeat as won't be refunded. got a few cans of drink as compensation. I appreciate sometimes things go wrong but this is not acceptable.
