Terrible food, kids left to run around screaming and the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Don’t waste your money.

We’ve always been loyal to this Chinese takeaway – it used to be our absolute favorite. For years, it was our go-to place for a Chinese and we never had any complaints. Unfortunately, after a long break, we decided to give it another try, and we were quite disappointed. The quality has really taken a dive. Not sure if the chefs have changed but it was noticeably different. The food just didn’t have the same appeal – it felt like a completely different place. We were hoping for the same great experience, but it’s clear that the standards have slipped. It’s sad to say, but we’ll probably be looking elsewhere for our Chinese takeaway fix from now on.

Very decent place, friendly staff, was made in 10 minutes and totally fulfilled our expectations

This was just what I needed: filling cheap, even quite fresh. Trawled through all these reviews and landed on Chinese roast pork chow mein (thnaks tomsmum) and it didn't disappoint. Nice to see the inside with everyone hard at work cooking and manning the phone cheerfully.

Nice food had the set menu for £19. The waiter let me swap options I didn't like for an alternative. I have been coming here for 23 years where it used to be all you could eat, however, I think the owners would have been better putting up the all you can eat price or adding supplements for more expensive items eg. duck. The reason is that it seems a lot quieter than it used to be and am worried their business may suffer as locals will not like this change. Love Red Leaf, great food & service

In my 64 years I have been to many Chinese restaurants and Chinese takeaways - including in China! This was one of the best. We called en spec on our way home one Friday evening. The food was excellent, particularly the honey roast pork. We had plenty left for a take home for the next day. We will try the set menu next time. Also the background music was very much to our taste, 1970s mix!

Prawn crackers delicious , starters of sesame prawn toast and spring rolls delicious, main course of sweet and sour pork Hong Kong style, chicken and pineapple with egg fried rice and salt and pepper chips absolutely amazing, will definitely recommend and return

The best Chinese takeaway in Helston, very reasonable prices and a great selection of food on the Menu. Cash only, so ensure you have it to hand. Cannot fault the Jade Garden, hassle free serivce; Highly recommend.

El restaurante está ubicado cerca del moderno distrito comercial de argyle. Fui aquí con mi madre. Pedimos rollitos de primavera y sopa sin sentido. La sopa estaba deliciosa con un caldo muy sabroso. Dividimos un plato principal de carne de jengibre. Fue muy bueno. La gran porción fue bastante fácil para los dos. Me encanta el jengibre y nunca puedo comer demasiado, así que creo que podría haber más en el plato. 20 cenas para dos en un hermoso asiento. Realmente adorable. Y a los lugareños también les debe encantar. Tienen un gran negocio para llevar. Fue muy recomendado por el repartidor de bicicletas que vimos en el frente y siete más recogidos mientras estábamos allí.

i got takeaway and im afraid to say i actually had to thow it out because it wasnt nice ie tasteless and greasy. inside the restaurant is like stepping back into 1960's.

My new favourite food place! Food and service was outstanding. The waitress went above and beyond explaining how to eat dimsum and the buns. Everything! I feel maybe this was the most authentic chinese restaurant i ve been to. One chinese person recommended to go there and i noticed all the customers (apart frol Us) were chinese families. I think it that does say a lot! Also, very good value for money

Brilliant all round food price & service

This used to be a very popular place, having not eaten here for many years dropped in for dinner recently. The place was quiet being a weeknight, a few people in and out to collect takeaways though. Service was friendly and efficient, food wasn't bad but I've had much better. It's not the cheapest either.
