Myself and my husband attended the buffet venue for our 2nd anniversary and the food was fresh and full of amazing flavours that staff where absolutely brilliant polite and welcoming made sure we where comfortable sitting where they put us and what more can I say 10 out of 10 for this place ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We visited yesterday for a birthday meal as a family of 7, and found hairs in 2 separate dishes! This was laughed at by the “Manager” and other staff members, which they tried to argue the case and say it was not hairs but part of the meal?!?! You had to walk past through a corridor stacked with dirty plates and the bins (for the plate scrapings) in order to get to the dirty, rundown toilets. Poor service and extremely off putting finding hairs in the food. Would not recommend or return based on our experience.

The global buffet is a very nice restaurant lots and lots of food to choose from.The reason why I voted it a 4 out of 5 was beacause the service is great and you can have as many plates as you want for one price.The down side of it is that the refills take way to long I wanted some Yorkshire puddings and they hadn’t been refilled until I left.But overall a good place to eat.

Great selection of food, parking nearby, lots of space and good atmosphere. If you visit in your birthday its free meal😀

Wednesday evening . Busy . Al sorts . Families, couples, groups of friends. Didn’t book but not a problem. Welcome. Taken to our seats . Buffet explained . Drinks ordered and off you go . Drinks inexpensive and noticed option to have limitless refills on soft drinks for a set price . I had a couple of glasses of red wine, glass of tap water and a fab assortment of food , all freshly replenished in front of your eyes . Even had some steak cooked to order. All nice , tasty . First experience of this type of buffet arrangement but all nicely done and for a bit over £30 , great value . I thoroughly enjoyed it . 😛

The range and variety of dishes was good enough and included the usual favourites. Quality and presentation were good and as hot as a buffet can reasonably achieve without spoiling the food. Table clearing and drinks service good. Very Busy.

This restaurant is amazing and the food is great the staff are very friendly and polite as soon as we walked though the door the staff saw to us right away and before we knew it we were sitting

We used to visit the restaurant a lot a few years ago, the food was always fresh, cooked well and it used to be excellent value for money. Last night we went for the first time in 2 years and we were bitterly disappointed. The quality of the food was terrible. The Thai mussels and squid were over cooked, breaded fish bits were dry and tough, all of the noodle dishes were mushy and over cooked and the Indian selection looked insipid and unappetising. There also appeared to be a lot less dishes on offer than previous visits. The teppanyaki grill however was great, that was the best food I had there; it was fresh, hot and cooked perfectly. Overall a very disappointing experience and the biggest shock was the price they now charge. It was not worth it at all and clearly other people think the same as it was not very busy for a Friday evening. This place used to be packed so we couldn't believe how empty it was.

I really enjoyed this buffet particularly since there were of vegetables for me to eat as I am a diabetic. The only problem was the parking.It took me half an hour to get the app on my phone and pay.Theres got to be easier ways to pay for parking.

A hidden gem we found, been visiting swindon for years didn’t know it existed, lovely food, nice staff give it a go you won’t be disappointed

This spot was absolutely fantastic starters, mains and dessert perfect till the last dish. I especially loved the chocolate fountain and ice cream cones plus it was fairly priced too. In all a 10 over 10!

My family and I visited the YC Global Buffet as part our son's 13th birthday celebrations. As he was turning 13 during the week, we arranged to visit the weekend before. The service was very efficient and I found the food to be plentiful, hot and tasty. Our son had a great time. The only issue I had was with the policy relating to what constitutes a child (under 13 AND under 150cm) , which was on the website but not visibly displayed in the restaurant. Our son was under 13yo (tick) for another 5 days anyway, however he was just over the 150cm line. Its a restaurant not a fairground ride. Thankfully the manager was understanding on this occasion. I would happily recommend this restaurant to friends and family ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It is what it is, lot of moany myrtle types on here, food is edible, decent selection even on a dead weds afternoon, our table and about 5 others, staff friendly, not too intrusive, I mean, maybe in its early days it was a bit busier but it was absolutely cavernous in there, probably due to the moany reviews on here, keep up the good work guys, nothing wrong with the food at all

Was a bit sceptical but can honestly it was great. A great range of really tasty dishes, loads to choose from and can’t fault any. A great selection of desserts too which you don’t normally get at these buffets. Service was quick and friendly and didn’t need to book as just two of us on a Saturday night. A little more expensive than we usually pay (£17.99) but still would go again if back in Swindon.

We live nearly an hour away and will be back we were so impressed. Our nearest all you can eat buffet choices are here or Bristol. Our daughter's favourite thing is a buffet but we don't go to them often unless on holiday etc as none are close. Not hugely impressed with those in Bristol we decided to venture to this one instead for her as a treat. Quality of food was great, as was selection. Plates clearly quickly. We've now found our new go-to buffet.

Great food, buffet style, dishes constantly refilled, fantastic variety of food. Friendly staff. Teppanyaki grill cooking food to order - delicious! Good variety of desserts.

Can't fault this place really, lots of different choices of English, Asian food, warm, not too crowded, plates cleared away quickly

I have been many buffet in swindon This is the best open buffet in swindon .you don't need to wait to eat. Clean, very good price, testy lots of choice & section ( indian / japon / Italian/ chinees ) atmosphere very good... Lunch and dinner both very nice Saturday lunch time most of the place very expensive but this buffet still cheap and plus they have sushi Saturday afternoon menu ..Highly recommended.

Staff start cleaning and take the food away at 9.30pm on Friday! We are 3 adults, one 10 years old and one 4 years old and we paid £90 and the kids not be able to enjoy the chocolate fountain because the staff toke the fountain away even before 9.30pm!!! I'm not really happy!! We feel we were robbed!!! Really disappointed and i will not recommend this place to anyone!! Really... Expend you money in a better place.

Came here for a birthday meal having never been to this restaurant before. Was treated at the door by a nice man and shown to our table. Once seated we were served with drinks and we chose the refill as value for money and right next to us. We soon went up and filled out plates with the range of foods from different parts of Asian cuisine. We all had plenty of food and enjoyed it as was topped up regularly and kept it hot. More vegetables could have been an option as was all very meat heavy and quite the same and the desserts was a bit of the same but was still enjoyable.

I visited with my husband earlier this evening and both had the buffet and found it to be of usual standard.we were however very concerned with the behaviour of some of the staff. we were seated a table diagonally from a party of three young girls (2 looked around 15 and 1 had just turned 16, birthday badge on show) whom the older staff were hovering around and flirting with (staff member was 50+) offering the them to stay over night and make rude remarks. this seemed totally inappropriate and we noticed the table next to us were feeling uncomfortable with this aswell and had said they would complain.

My friend and I went to the YC Global Buffet in Swindon town centre this evening for some dinner. I have been to this restaurant a few times previously and my family also enjoy to visit here regularly. When we were seated and tucking into our food, we noticed a staff member chatting a fair amount to a group of what looked like young girls at the table they were eating on. I myself didn’t take much notice of it until a senior member of staff, I think his name may have been “Peter” or at least that’s what other members of staff referred to him as, started smiling and looking over to this table with the younger girls. He started going over to the table more than frequently and me and my friend then noticed these girls were wearing a “16th Birthday” badge, bare it in mind this “Peter” senior member of staff looked in his late 40s early 50s and was extremely interested in these young girls. We then overheard him ask the girls to stay over and said they could leave at breakfast time, and offered them drinks from the drinks menu even though this girl was wearing a “16th birthday” badge. Let me just say you have lost loyal customers and that I will be making people aware not to allow their teenagers to have birthday events here if this is what the elder male staff act like to such young vulnerable girls. Confronted staff and the senior member of staff that was being inappropriate however they laughed it off and didn’t take it seriously at all. Management need to look into this as customers and even some members of staff seemed extremely uncomfortable. I am disgusted and shocked.

I was a bit worried prior to my visit. I find it difficult to suit my diet. Global Buffet had a great selection. All fully labelled, and cooked to perfection. Seriously, this is one of Swindon's hidden gems!!!

Wide selection of food offered depending on time of day depends what you pay! Late evenings and weekends you get a wider choice but pay slightly more for the selection. Either way the selection is good midday or evening and you get what you want for your money. Im sure you will find something you like, if you get something you dont want go back for something else and your plate will be removed from your table before you return!

Just visited today have been quite a few times from devizes have never been let down on the food or the staff I a.m a man past the sale date at 83 and have to use a mobile scooter they came opened front door to let my entry easy entry and depart so I can say if want the best lunch in the week you will not be disappointed we cannot wait to try evening or a Sunday lunch so thank you all the staff hope to see you soon Snowy the man with the red hat

This is THE best all you can eat Chinese buffet, it has food from the whole of Asia, including Indian food, it has Teppanyaki grill, which is totally addictive I would recommend Pawns with grilled butter & Scallops .. or if thats to much Sea Food, the steak and Mushrooms is fantastic!!!!

Polite and helpful staff, restaurant is on ground floor with no steps and its easy for disabled people to access. Lots of space to move round and lots of choice from the different world buffets [the teppenyaki is really good]. The night I was there, the table next to us had a childrens party and the acoustics made it sound even louder with all the kids screaming. These kids were the exception though. Their parents just let them run riot around the restaurant whilst the poor staff were trying to avoid them in case they dropped hot plates and servers on them. Maybe it would have been a good idea then one of the parents might have learned that you teach your kids to behave and respect others. All the other children in the restaurant were well behaved I might add!! I thought the staff did really well under the circumstances. I would definitely visit again as I thought the food and service was really good and good value for money too.

We had a wonderful buffet here. Amazing pan Asian and English selection, all cooked brilliantly and very very tasty. Only one problem is that I could have eaten much more but was so full after 3 plates...

What a find great food so much choice as much as you like for 14.95 on Sunday 2 plates for mains one of pudding could not manage anymore. Fantastic loads of people families etc. Go again

I am quite a fan and I have been visiting this restaurant since it was known as cosmos and I have had no issues ever! Staff have always been amazing and the food always perfect. But on this occasion when eating my satay chicken I noticed it was undercooked. I’m not one to make a big fuss or complain, so I politely approached the floor manager just to inform him that I had come across some pretty much raw meat just so that he could take action to prevent any further complaints.

This a place that you cannot go when you visit Swindon. If you have been to JRC Global restaurants then you have found one here. It’s smaller than Croydon , London JRC but about the same size with the Romford, London one.

This was opposite the hotel I was staying in. So, as Id not been out in Swindon before, I went for it. There is another similar (although much bigger in size) restaurant in Southampton, and the comparison I am making comes from there.

Excellent family visit, great variety of good quality food. The staff were very attentive. Lunch price at £8.99 per adult was good value.. Give it a visit!

Upon arriving we were asked to place my 2 year old against a size chart. He measured an inch taller than the chart of 90cm, we were then told he would pay £8. I tried to explain he was 2 and that he would not eat to be told even if he didn’t eat we would still have to pay £8, reluctantly we agreed. We were shown to a table. The layout is very canteen like, there is no privacy as the tables so close to one another. After we’re were seated someone came to take our drinks order, I asked for water to which I was made aware that I had to go up to the side of the bar to get a pre poured glass of water, charming. Not a great start I’m sure you will agree. Nevertheless the important bit, the food! I started with a few small starter bits, all of which tasted so oily ,deep fried and bland. For main I tried various thing and again disappointing. I helped myself to some curry which was a very limited selection, the naan bread was stone cold like it has not been replaced for hours. The grill was very good and I must say the gentleman on the grill was very polite and helpful. For desert I had cake and some ice cream, all of which lacked quality and was somewhat tasteless (cheep).

Been to this busy global buffet a few times . Plenty of dishes to choose from catering for all ages and regularly replaced with fresh food . Staff are friendly and attentive. One of the best buffets to visit if you like a buffet.

Used to work here they don’t seem to treat English members of staff with any respect just call them stupid and thick and then have a 17 year old boss bar staff around

Visited a few times under the Cosmo banner, this the first time for Global Buffet.Excellent tasty food, couldnt fault it, especially for the price you pay.Probably not as much variety as when managed by Cosmo,but,still very very good. No doubt will return again when back in Swindon.Well Done!

I had a solo dinner here while staying nearby on a business trip. Somehow, eating alone in a buffet seems less awkward in a buffet than in a restaurant. The food and experience was average on a relatively quiet midweek night. I will imagine it is better on a busy weekend.

Went on a Sunday lunchtime and was blown away by the quality & quantity of food on offer. Really good selection, hot & tasty, ranging from Indian, to various types of Chinese and other Asian foods. My only reservation was the place itself - bit of a barn of a place with very high ceilings, and therefore quite noisy once it got full. Could not fault the food though - superb.

This place is huge, plenty of tables, high ceilings, clean, and an enormous selection of food.

Yes there is a large selection of choice, BUT, and it's a big but. 90% of it is tasteless, chicken curry that tastes of water, Singapore noodles that were soggy, etc, etc.

Tasty food with loads of options for everyone. Well worth the money for lunch. Dinner is too expensive and not worth the money even with the few extra dishes.

A friendly welcome greeted us- the food is based around serving islands of food- Thai , Chinese and Asian . Delicious flavours and freshly topped up all of the time. The room is very large and a little cafeteria like but the good food compensated for this. A great venue for s large party and they will sing happy Birthday to you .

We had a trip into Swindon especially to try this place the food is good and it’s value for money the only let down we had was for their “free parking” scheme not being local we parked where we thought was correct but alas it was not so they wouldn’t give us the parking only £2.20 but more of a priceable thing. Seating was a bit cramped in bit like a staff canteen set up but overall a good meal for the money

To start off, the atmosphere was welcoming and warm.Moreover, the were staff members were easily available if you needed anything.However there were a long waiting Que and it felt like we suck there forever.Speaking about the food, it was delicious and i wasn't expecting it to be as I only around £8 - £9.Mostly what really shocked me is the variety of dishes they had and the presentation of how the desserts were arranged.

Spent Saturday evening, 20th October, at this restaurant. Fabulous service and fabulous food. Never experienced anything like this before. Would recommend for quality and value for money

Excellent choice of food right in the centre of Swindon. There is plenty of parking close by but you need to pay.

The food is truly Pan Asian and is extremely good. The service is excellent and there is a wide selection even for those with allergies and intolerance to certain ingredients. However, what is misleading is the advertisement on the place mats staging free parking. On checking the website, the free parking is non existant.

Food is just brilliant, probably one of the most authentic Chinese food buffet I have had in the UK (apart from buffet in Manchester). Location is great too, 3 minutes walk from train station and 5-6 minutes away from outlet. Service is indeed not so good like others have mentioned but I could live with that when food is superb.

There was so much choices of main courses and puddings here I ended up having 3 plates. Well worth the money, food was cooked to an exceptional standard and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Can not wait to visit again

The food is what you’d expect in an all you can eat buffet it’s not exceptional quality but it’s better than your average all you can eat. Service is shocking. Trying to make a drinks order is a nightmare after your first drink if you would like a server to come to your table and take your order. Servers are not friendly. The person who takes your money at the end is polite I think he must be senior / Manager as he always wears a smart shirt. If his staff was half as friendly him it would make the place better. When it’s hot outside it’s very hot inside the building alas end up spending more on drinks that I wouldn’t mind but the drinks menu isn’t great and they are over priced. I appreciate that’s how they make there money but a better drinks menu would make me spend more. The grill food is great very much worth the wait in the que.

We had a large family and friends meal here the night before our wedding with over twenty guests. Fantastic service as always, we are never let down here. We eat a few times a month at yc as all our children love the food. The quality of the food is far beyond buffet too. The Japanese section with tempura and sushi is phenomenal.

Came in for a Friday evening meal. Great selection of food. All hot and well cooked from Chinese fillet of fish (without the bones) to battered prawns (without the shells). Much better than other places that leave bones in or batter prawns in the shells..

Came for a family birthday. Kids love it and the food is always really fresh and tasty. Staff are great at clearing away the used plates so you can hide the sun of how much you actually eat.........

I was a bit reluctant to visit as Management and name have changed recently, but my fears were totally unfounded. The meal and choice, as usual, were very good and it gave me and my family chance to celebrate Father's Day with everyone catered for.

Food is was average and some dishes very bland. Not the worst buffet style restaurant. Place lacked atmosphere. They did bring my daughter a cake and candle for her birthday and played Happy Birthday. This was a nice touch as we did not ask for this ( she was wearing a birthday badge). We do visit regularly here. The food is always freshly cooked and quite varied, Thai, Chinese, Malaysian, Japanese, Italian & English! I probably missed something out here.
