delivery was later & food was cold

The order is late by at least 30 minutes every time I use Beijing Chef. If the food wasn’t good I wouldn’t use them

Order before 7, called at 9 to be told not even cooked yet... will be on its way in the next half hour

Did not receive order. They shut at 10.30 but still took order at 10.40 and said they were delivering between 11.40 and 12.00. Reastaurant phone ringing out. Wont be using this bunch of cowboys ever again!!

they cancelled my order directly after I ordered it . more over they didn't contact me to notify me . I found out when I called at the outside of the delivery time nearly an hour later.

Lovely warm food only one slight complaint that the sweet and sour sauce was a bit runny but apart from that tasty, good portions and arrived hot.

everything was 10/10! never had this chinese before but thought we'd try it as its a local legend. got free prawn crackers which is always a bonus. can't fault this place and it will definitely be our go to place now! great food, amazing prices! also received 20% off for next time too!!

missing Pepsi was told they're sending it out midnight the place closed 1 hour ago still sat up waiting for a bottle of Pepsi that cost me a £3.50 absolute joke.

Good local Chinese takeaway. I have been a regular customer her for a number of years. I often order in adnavce for a delivery when I get in from work. Always on time, good quality of food and friendly staff. Decent offers if you order through their website too! I'd recommend the Chow Mein, Beef and Green Peppers and Black Bean Sauce, Chicken Satay Skewers and the Salt and Pepper Chips. (My usual order 👌) 🥡

Whenever i can afford to treat the family i always come here. The food is so yummy and great price and portion and always arrives hot and i have never had an order with an item missing. I really love the chips here too for me the best i have tasted.

Beef chow mein - beef strips were tasteless and textureless, noodles I've had better, veggies almost non existent. Bbq spare ribs - ok-ish but not as juicy as l like

Unfortunately my recent experience has determined that my review go down. The so called BBQ sauce tastes of nothing and I can't forgive that! I will never be ordering from there again!!!

We’ve used this place for years, and tonight my vegetarian tofu stunk of fish (my husband who eats meat/fish confirmed). He ate a piece and it had been fried in the same oil as fish. So disappointed. It was inedible and made me wretch 😕 Won’t be using them any more 🙁

We really enjoyed the food. Although the sweat and sour sauce was different to anything we have had before, it was ok. The rest of the food was really good, especially the Singapore noodles

My partner and I ordered a take away from here when staying in the area. The food took over an hour to arrive, and that was the highlight of the meal (not having it anywhere near me). The food was overcooked. I have never seen a chef manage to actually burn satay sauce, let alone have the audacity to pack this off on anaemic, burnt chicken skewers. The sweet and sour chicken (Cantonese style) reminded me more of the infamous Peckham Spring water in Only Fools & Horses. The best description for the colour of the sauce is Nuclear Orange. The dish looked like a murder scene, but managed to taste even worse (I guess there is a degree of talent in managing this). Not only was the dish rubbish, the colour was so nuclear it is now practically lighting up my hotel room!!! The Pork Dumplings appeared to be cooked in cardboard as opposed to the usual dim sum style casing. If I hadn’t have taken it out of my mouth, I would still be chewing this next week. The only good thing was the rice which was mildly edible. However, it would take an absolute calamity of a human being to mess up good old Uncle Bens boil in a bag speciality. If you are starving, do not go here. I would suggest that you may find better, and fresher dishes in a nearby bin. Disgraceful.

Decided to try this takeout as my normal one was closed. Food was delicious and arrived hot. Only problem was waiting 2 hours for delivery from ordering. By which point I wasn’t really hungry anymore. Shame as their food was lovely.

Chicken is grizzly and tough. Was paper film stuck in and around buns. Appetizers were quite slimy and inedible

Ordered just after 7 just eat said food would be 20:05 - 20:25, when it hadn't arrived at 20:30 rang to see where it was to be advised they had only just started cooking it. When the food finally arrived at 21:15 it was hot and of the usual standard we get from Beijing Chef

I had ordered vegetable spring rolls and received meat ones. Im a vegetarian. And my whole order was vegetarian. When i called the first time they accepted fault for by saying the chef was “confused by busy kitchen” and would “refund me”. When i called back to check when i would get a refund i was treated with disrespect! Like i was on trial all because there was now a problem with the issue they had created. I will not be going back to this place! Customer service is shocking, extremely rude and the lady on the phone has a serious attitude problem.

Really poor. Food ordered before 1815 and still chasing it almost two and a half hours later. Order cancelled now, so can’t comment on the food - just the poor timekeeping, no tracking and lack of reliable comms.

ordered here for a nice evening and got quite the disappointment. ordered at 7pm and ended up getting my lukewarm food two hours later. during this time i got a phone call to say that two items i had ordered were not in stock (would have been nice to know before ordering). when i got the food like i said it was luke warm and very bland. the sauces were just so watery as was the beef with mushrooms. wont be ordering from here again and the prices were just immense. save yourself the pain hunger and disappoint. i look forward to the next 2 days of food poisoning haha wish me luck, deffo wasnt worth it

One it took ages for Food to come and the person on the phone was very rude. Secondly, when the Food came it was cold, but again, I could not wait more time to order another one so I had to waste £40

Not a single complaint. Best Chinese we've had since living in Swindon and we've had a fair few! The chow mein tastes very similar to my favourite from my old home. Thank you for a delicious dinner!

Ordered at 7 and the delivery was already an hour and 50 estimated time but when I rang at 8:40 they said the order was still on waiting and it would be another 30 minutes - dreadful amount of time to wait for a food order - not happy

Don’t use this takeaway. Food is that good and the delivery time are up to 2 hours. Then when you complain you get a rude obnoxious lady telling me that after 1:30 hours they still haven’t starting cooking my order. I am now £30 down and no food. My advise is don’t call them there are far better takeaways around.

Myself, my wife and my 4 year old daughter ordered a couple of days ago, a few hours later and all 3 of us were vomiting regularly throughout the night. I’ve had to hire freelancers to cover my work at a cost of hundreds and all three of us are suffering aches and pains still. Not happy, I’ve kept the containers to get tested and I will be exploring ways to get compensated for what clearly is food poisoning. Never again.

Would recommend this place. Lots of the food is good, and they're generous with freebies if you spend enough. Definitely would recommend and order again from them.

We have been taking pit oyr dinner from this place for a very long time but tonight it was all gross! Very disappointing! Egg fried rice was about 3 days old, wasn’t fresh at all. Noodles was too salty, chicken balls was too salty too. Veggie lamb was very chewy. Also, I had no notes in my cookie fortune! The cook must have been changed I guess!! Probably I will try somewhere else next time. Not recommended

“Masaman curry”? I don’t think so it was a badly executed Chinese curry sauce with pre cooked chicken pieces and half a tin of new potatoes, a few peanuts and onions. The Satay chicken was passable but not memorable and theSingapore style fried rice was ok but not what I expected it to be.

I know it was a Saturday. We ordered 7 pm after over 10 calls to find out where our food was no updates No communication from the restaurant, it had gone past time slot and it said Enjoy your food! So we contacted justeat and got the run around and redirected back to the restaurant. No one answered anywhere. The food did arrive at 9.30 pm, 2 and half hours is disgusting service. Both my daughter and I are diabetics. We order food after taking meds because most deliveries on justeat normally get here within an hour. Im totally disappointed. Justeat should also have better contact details, instead of having lots on different options and getting nowhere.
