Top Wok in Surrey Heath

To be fair they use to be good but my meal on Sunday was so bad that’s why I’m writing this review the chicken was like it was left over from Saturday the duck was not moist it was wet never have I had duck before me like this and the meal was over £50 everything I ordered was terrible and I’m not really that fussy there’s my point needless to say that was my last order from them

Best Chinese we’ve had in a while, delivery driver was lazy and didn’t want to get in a lift to come to the first floor but the food was lovely

very disappointing food, no flavour at all, and the meat stinks probably old too . avoid!

The lemon chicken was fine. The rice was fine and even the ribs were ok. Nothing was great but mostly fine. The chow mein however… tasteless. We got both the pork and duck and both tasted of nothing. Which is kinda wild to me. Would not recommend.

Waited close to an hour, food was wrong and instructions not followed, replacement noodles are so spicy (hot) they are not eadable

Have always ordered from here, however the last 3 times now the order has been completely wrong, tasteless and far from enjoyable. Time to try somewhere new

I love Chinese and this was a good meal.

We ordered x2 chicken chow mein as part of our order and we ended up with x1 and x1 mixed with prawns. This could have been an issue if we were allergic. Attention to detail needs to be looked at a little better. Sauces not full and nor were the dishes, alot of half portions which we don't get elsewhere. Probably wouldn't order again due to the above.

Food was ok not that nice in my opinion delivery after it “left” took about 40 mins to get to us

The food was very late which was misrepresented online said it would take 25-45 minutes i then waited an additional 15 before calling the restaurant. Then then said it would be 10 mins but ended up being 25 more :( The food was ok but I wouldnt order from here again. When I complained I was told 'well you are quite far away' why are you on just eat for my postcode then? You are 20 minutes from me

Prawns not cooked in middle and tempura bater although crispy on the outside had not cooked through and was doughy

Was excited as it was highly rated, but really let down. May be because the football was on so they were really busy? (Don’t want the review to be unjustified) - deep fried things were really stogggyy, duck chow main lacked duck and other dish’s are flavourless. Maybe an MSG free takeaway 0.o

chicken tonight was very very dry and flavourless and most of it not edible it had to be binned. usually its beautiful so very diassapointed tonight

The curry dishes ordered were good, but the chicken chow mein was a curry, prawn toast over done and the chicken balls batter was gooey and chewy.

Delivery driver was really polite and helpful 👌 even txt me to say he was running a little late 👌 well done pal 👍

Very disappointed with this order. Food was cold and missing part of the order, pancakes were hard and all stuck together.

The food was delicious as always but they unfortunately forgot my wife's Lemon Chicken. I was offered the option of a refund for the missing item or a 30 minute wait for a replacement. I went for the refund & we had to split the remaining dishes between the 4 of us. We will order here again but next time I'll be calling them up to ensure they have everything in the order. Disapointed.

Missing items, stale food….. called to get replacements which they promised and a bag of prawn crackers turned up….. won’t be ordering from here again!

Very underwhelming. Pad thai was just overcooked noodles with some pinkish sauce. Roast pork was 90% mushrooms. Would not order from here again.

Nice and hot food, delicious as always

Delivered early, which was great for us. Food was lovely, the only disappointing thing was that we assumed the crispy aromatic duck would come with the usual pancakes, cucumber, spring onions and hoisin sauce but they didn't, making this dish very expensive and rather annoying because we had to provide, and prepare, our own.

😡Food sent in small trays at £7 a tray but not stated(rip off), food v bad quality rice was old and meat was hard to find !!, and tasted strange restaurant would not collect/refund, very bad and unhelpful service..do not order from this restaurant, should be called bottom wok not top wok!!, very disappointed

Ordered the mixed vegetables in yellow bean sauce as it clearly stated it’s vegan on the menu + in the description (with the green ‘V’ plant emoji + the word vegan). What arrived was clearly full of chicken so couldn’t be eaten. Absolutely atrocious. Requested a full refund but wasn’t given it. Will never order from here again. Untrustworthy + quite frankly dangerous to those with allergies and/or dietary requirements.

Very average food. Rice was dry and bland, chicken was dry. Sweet and sour sauce was over powering. The chilli beef container was broken in the bag so the sauce covered everything. The driver couldn’t find my flat so I had to find him. £25 for a single meal this poor! No thanks. Won’t be ordering again. Water sky much much better

Very hot thai red curry but was still very nice

Ordered food to be delivered for 19:30 but it didn't turn up till just after 20:00. The food was still hot which was good and it tasted nice but why have the option to deliver at a certain time if you can't.

Soup was so water downed, it was like dish water

First time ordering from here. Was amazed, nice, tasty, good looking portions. Food was hot and on time. Adding to my FAVOURITES.

Placed our order at 8pm. Expected delivery at 21:00, extended to 21:15/21:25. Just Eat had marked our order as delivered at 21:40. After waiting 2 hours, we called the restaurant numerous times to firstly get some updates but after the 7th call to cancel the order as we did not expect a delivery at this point. We left the residence at 10pm to get food elsewhere. On arrival home at 10:20 the food was left by the doorstop and was cold. Disgusted by the lack of communication from this establishment regarding late delivery times.

So late, took 2 hours to get 3 portions of noodles.

Although some of our order was missing when delivered (this has never happened before with Top Wok) we called the restaurant, the staff went over and beyond to fix the problem and deliver the missing items with some extras. The food was as delicious as ever and although we have ordered from Top Wok for years, we will definitely continue to do so. Thank you for a lovely experience and Mother's Day Dinner x

The Singapore rice noodles are too spicy for my taste... maybe that's the way it should be. Can I request it less spicy next time?

Not the best Szechuan Chicken and the carrots seemed to be added at the end. Try the Szechuan Chicken from Mingley or the Szechuan dish from Oriental Hub, it might help in making your dish better.
