Mcchina Wok Away in Surrey Heath

After a warm welcome I got an order of delicious crispy shredded beef and noodles. Very handy as across the Premier Inn. I have to say, best crispy beef I have had in a long time!

Both fried rice and barbecued ribs were dry but I think it’s not as bad as people described. Ordered from them in December 2023

The beef noodles with curry sauce is as good as any noodle dish in China. Good prices too.

Food has always been good here, the guy up front is super nice. Huge upgrade from the previous management of this place. Love the rice and chicken balls

I had a chicken curry, egg fried rice, and salt and pepper chips, it was delicious. It was the best chinese I've had for over 10 years. This is my new takeaway from now on. Keep up the good work.

Ordered from the Aldershot branch for delivery. Our order turned up and was missing a main item. Called and complained and the missing item was sent out 30 minutes later after my family had finished eating. Pretty poor. Not even a free bag of prawn crackers which costs pence as a sorry. Will jot be using again

Have had many decent takeaways from here unfortunately last night wasn't one of them. Judging by the low average review score I guess they have a problem with consistency. The crab claws are a pale imitation of what they used to be and everything else had been over fried and was tough including dumplings sesame toast and chicken balls they also forgot the sauce for the dumplings

I know your in the Primer inn accross the street, wail away. Food is awful, 80% batter 20% prawn, fo young was horrible flavourless omelette. £17.50 with sesame toast which was £5 and scored 6 out of 10. Make the walk elsewhere...

Food is ok, but customer service is poor. Portly English chap who handed me the food was quite rude and unappreciative of my order. Could do with some customer service training, this is 2021. I expect a bit more friendliness when i case no problems as a paying customer.

The food was lovely! especially the meaty ribs and crispy duck. Very generous portions, lasted 2 days! 😋 I have been a customer a few years now, never disappoints. 😊 and was on time being delivered. Thankyou

Ordered in the app delivery time 8.30pm and message we hope you are enjoying your take away , after lots of calls and emails without any response as at 9.30pm no sign of order and order never turned up after spending £84.00

I’ve been waiting for my food for nearly 2 hours. I have rung the restaurant multiple times to no reply. This deserves 0 stars but had to put one to rate.

Don't believe what the website tells you when it gives you a time for delivery - the system doesn't work. Don't bother calling up to chase. When we did 10 minutes after the delivery time we were given, they hadn't even started cooking our order yet - and blamed a failing IT system that our expectation was wrong. Don't bother offering to pick up - they say Covid doesn't allow that. So, failing delivery time, terrible customer service, hiding behind Covid. Will not be going back. 100%

Food was crap, service was crap. Food was late and we were missing part of our order. We phoned up and complained and they had the cheek to hang up on us. When the rest of our order turned up half and hour after the rest of the food turned up the person didn’t even apologise just gave us our order and a ten pound refund, from a sixty quid order. The worst part was they tried to blame the part of the order missing on the pandemic. No no you can’t blame the pandemic on you cooking our food crap and missing part of our order. As part of the photo you can see below this was the duck from the duck pancakes we ordered and Aswell we ordered bean in black bean sauce and there was probably like ten bits of beef if that and the rest was pure onions as per the pics below. We have order from here before and never really had a problem but after tonight and the customer service we are not going back. Honestly do not order from there waste of money

Never again would I order food from this outlet. Disgustingly poor food. It was tasteless from the Singapore noodles delivered in a polystyrene chip container to the most bland chicken and cashew nuts. Each of the three dishes contained more chunks of unwanted carrot and beige veg than anything and the edible crispy chilli beef dish container came less than half full. IN my experience a tasteless underwhelming and disappointing take out NOT TO BE recommended and never again. If However you enjoy Bland poor quality food then maybe you would enjoy.

Has been our regular Takeaway, food is fine but the guy that runs it is so rude!!!( if you can’t stand the heat and all that!!) Granted lockdown has made waiting times longer but when I ring up please don’t lie to me....doubt I’ll return to the Camberley branch

Whilst the food and service was ok for me, I was hungry, it had clearly sat there a long time and a lot of it was clearly overcooked. I am not sure that they check the temperatures of the food being held at temperature as it wasn’t all hot, the person I was with fell with food poisoning the day after eating here and although I had a fine time, has put me off going again.

Excellent food, excellent service, good value for money. ☆☆☆☆☆

Very very good until the change of owners. Really disappointed with the current owners, lack of customer service, care but ultimately the quality in the food has gone down. Really let down the folks that build up a fantastic reputation for the McChina family. Order from Farnborough branch is my recommendation.

Rude guy on the phone. Made my whole family sick and was overpriced NEVER AGAIN !! The ribs were nothing but fat and the only decent thing about the service was the delivery driver he was lovely. The man I placed my order with for over £50 huffed and puffed when I asked for information on some additional dishes. Bad attitude worse food very bland.

I've been to this take away on various occasions no complaint ref the food But my complaint rests with the front of house receptionist he is rude abrubt and basically deeply offensive. If he worked for me I'd dismiss him immediately. Get rid of him hes awful

Me and my partner order from this place I had 2 bites of it and couldent eat no more.! So plain.! Chicken balls was really tough the egg fried rice was more like clumped together boiled rice.! Stay clear if your wanting a nice Chinese.!

Just binned our takeaway and had a 60p naked noodle pot. Tasteless , cheap meat and bland.

Had a meal from here, on Friday. Had: beef curry, boiled rice. beef, rock-hard, tasted like it had been deep-fried, rice, over cooked. Had: butterfly prawns. not butter fly prawns, they were minced prawns, full of fat. Had: chicken with black bean sauce. chicken, rock-hard, again, like it had been deep fried. spent £18 odd, horrible, nasty, food. This place is a rip-off, not a clue how to cook.

Camberley was brought to absolute chaos tonight because of the snow! I contacted them after placing an order online and then reading about the nightmares on the roads going on and offered to cancel due to the weather conditions, my order was already out for delivery!! The driver contacted me to apologise for the delay he was stuck in the traffic, again I said don’t worry turn around go home be safe! But he didn’t he continued to get my order to me, food was amazing as always and the driver was equally amazing for continuing in such bad conditions, I only ever order from here because the quality and service is amazing and tonight they went above and beyond!! Thank for saving me from having to have toast..

I just called to ask when my order will be delivered because it's 15 minutes late, his immediate response was "I don't have a crystal ball!" He then made me wait while he served another customer. When he came back he asked me my address and then said that my order has not been cooked yet, but it will be next. Then he said "Thank you. Good bye." I promise that I will never spend another penny on an order from them. The worst customer service I have ever experienced.

Ordered delivery for a family meal this evening and advised delivery time was missed without notice. 30 minutes after food was due we called restaurant and advised we were wrong and the delivery would now be with us within 15 minutes. We waited 25 minutes before calling again only to be told that the food was only now being cooked (2 hours after order placed) and that it would be with us soon. No apologies, very poor attitude from the manager who couldn't care about our delay. We have used this takeaway for many years but recently we have had continued poor service and will never try again - avoid

The food is okay but the customer service on the phone has been bad from the Camberley branch. They seem to be getting quite rude and patronising especially the man who picks up the phone. I asked if they could modify the food but the reply was extremely rude and basically stating that they won't change it. That alone ruined my experience with them after being their customer for so long.

Amazing food here, great for going out with friends. Prawn crackers are full of flavour too! Overall, the staff are very friendly, food is brilliant and i’d definitely reccommend going here.

Unfortunately we had to order from here as our usual was closed on a Mon. A mistake we will not make twice. The chicken tasted of nothing. The lemon sauce was so watery and not tasty. The pork balls were not cooked. The duck rolls were not cooked through either. All in all far too expensive and not worth it. Not a happy customer.

A lovely take away with the usual choices. I really enjoy the food and have had many meals over the years. Worth a longer drive to experience. On a pedestrianised area so no parking. For the quick collection try the London Road which is about a minute or two. If more time, there is parking in the Atrium or other town car parks. Friendly staff.

Ordered from McChina camberley since 2016 and the food is still good/excellent. The guy picked up the phone were well mannered and polite and informed us the food was delay for merely five minutes. Good service and good food.

I've had a takeaway from here a few times; not recently as I got bored with their food. It's not great but not terrible. Their Sweet and Sour Chicken Balls are huge but the sauce is very nondescript.

We ordered from Camberley McChina just before Christmas and the quality and portion size were great. Despite the good taste, all the dishes were filled right to the top. Prices were good and the guy on the phone very helpful. Will definitely use them again.

I wish I had looked here first at these reviews!!!!! The food was awful. Rice was over done and mushy, battered chicken breast was so dry and the batter was horrible. The noodles tasted as if they had been fried in dirty dish water and the whole thing cost me £25. Thanks for that !!!!!! Do not buy from here. I will not be buying from here again. The only reason why I did was because my local were not open.

No tardaron en llegar y era muy sabroso y caliente incluso cuando regresaba a la habitación del hotel. Food took 2 hours to arrive then some was missing. Wasn't very warm when delivered either. Eventually agreed to bring replacements that came half hour later but food tasted bland compared to previous orders.

Have tried about 15 items from their menu and all have been cooked to a good standard. Prices are good and service is very fast. Satay dishes are particularly good.

Ordered @20:50, phoned @21:50 and was meet with a rude and ignorant man that said it was my fault. Took me shouting down the phone to cancel order and get money back. Never ordering from them again. Staff rude and no food.

I have used mcchina for meals during the week for delivery but NEVER again on a weekend. 2.5 hours for delivery!!!! No call to apologise, not even a free bag of prawn crackers!! Rubbish customer service, food was tepid when it arrived and I rang 32 times to chase the delivery and the phone was constantly engaged.
