Great food, very fast service, salt and pepper chips are amazing. Staff polite and helpful. Lots of parking, great experience overall

Spare of the moment change of plans we decided to try a new takeaway and we was not disappointed they are extremely polite reasonably priced and food was exceptional, with a bonus of generous portions, this will be our go too Chinese now

One of the very few Chinese takeaways that does the thin noodles in a chow mein. The special/mixed chow mein is delicious. Fat prawns, chicken &pork with thin noodles in oyster sauce.

I usually get a delivery but today I went to the shop!! I could decide what I wanted and changed my order 3 times 🙈 again I'm sorry 😁 the staff were absolutely amazing with changing it and it was no hassle. The girl (Niamh) behind the counter couldn't have been more helpful! Very polite and well mannered! We had a laugh, I will be back xx

Lovely food best Chinese takeaway in Amble

Food took ages. Ordered soup and a noodle box. Noodles were soggy, sauce was jelly and the meat was chewy and basically inedible. I ended paying £16 for soup as the restaurant made it very awkward trying to get a refund asking to call back although I had contacted twice. This is the first and last time I will ever use this restaurant.

Been ordering from Happy Garden for a good few years.. tonight they got our order wrong, when I called them asking them to replace the wrong item they’d delivered I got called I liar & had the phone put down on me.. we definitely won’t be ordering from there again.

Best Chinese food ever. You get loads also. Shame thy do not do a delivery service 😥

USELESS! What a joke this place is- it's more of a circus than a take away.. I made a phone order for my family at 6.10pm on a Saturday to be told it would be ready in 35mins. When I arrived, the girl on the front went out the back to check on it, and said it would be 5 minutes. 15 minutes later a lady came from out the back asking what I ordered, to then tell me she has no idea about my order, and they had not done it. Her attitude was terrible, and she was completely unapologetic! It was funny how my order was nearly ready when I had arrived - they must use the same "lie to the customer- just tell them it's 5 mins" to everyone.. Anyway- 7pm on Saturday night I had to go somewhere else to get food. I wouldn't recommend this place.

I really like Chinese food, this is the worst ever! 1.6 miles away and exactly 1 hour for delivery at the princely sum of £4.50! “If you don’t like it come and pick it up” The crispy quarter duck was remants from some else’s meal, not a lot of meaty bits, just a load of crispy bits!. Poor service and poor food. Expense as it’s poor food and service. Never again

Amazing gluten free Chinese , taste great , good portions and very friendly staff always will to help and give you piece of mind that the food ordered is gluten free , great place highly recommend

OK looking a bit dated inside the building staff seem friendly enough food was OK the fish cakes were mini and tasted strange but the chilli and salted chips are great
