The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Chinese food

I came to write a 5* review and was very surprised to read some of the 'recent' ones with low ratings....especially one by "Amar" who describes a restaurant experience which isn't this place!! We have had several takeaways from here and every one has been great. I usually collect on the way back from work so when I ordered our last one on sunday night online I accidentally left "collection" on the online order. When I called after an hour and we still hadn't received it, the girl explained what had happened and it needed collecting, i was gutted driving up there imagining what the food would be like after this time had passed. We had just got back from holiday and were so looking forward to it! When I got to Rice bowl, the lady in the kitchen popped her head out and offered to redo the chips and also the crispy beef because they would be poor quality now. I really appreciated half our takeaway being redone and still offered to do more, apologised that obviously they could not reheat rice for us etc. They completely redid the 2 dishes mentioned for free although it was MY mistake and I thought that was extremely kind and i really appreciate it. Definitely the best Chinese takeaway in Cov! I'm from kent and well traveled, apparently Chinese takeaway really varies across the UK and we have struggled finding a good one now we're settled here. This is IT!! :D

My family and I had a great lunch here on Saturday. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food tasty. A lovely choice of numerous dishes. We particularly recommend the honey sesame chicken, chicken spring rolls, spring onion dumplings, stir fried prawns, sushi, stir fried mushrooms and stir fried cabbage.

Visited today for lunch food wasn't warm at all spoke with manager whom quoted it was because it was cold outside, that is not an adequate reason , no apology nothing

Went with family 19/10/24 big group of 17 . Food wasn’t great every dish tasted gloppy , couldn’t tell difference from fish or chicken , crispy chilli beef nice but that’s it . Doing food on mass was obvious we paid for all inclusive . It was very busy not sure why ! Won’t return

Food has gone down hill massively. Always loved a Water Margin, been eating out of here for 30 years, but unfortunately it is now hugely overpriced for the quality and portion size. 3 poor meals in a row. The picture shows a "dish" I was charged £7.50 for 🤣Never again.

Went for a meal here the weekend. The restaurant was very clean. The staff we spoke with very rude. Our waiter was very pushy in telling us what we was going to eat rather than what we wanted to eat. We ordered a drink each and then asked for some tap water for the table, well he’s face said it all, he did not like us ordering tap water. ( even after ordering a round of drinks) the food was nice tho no problems there. He then told us we had ordered duck which we hadn’t. And kept saying we have. We said no one has ordered duck on this table to which he walked off in a huff. When paying, the bill hadn’t even hit the table and he had the card machine in our faces waving it around. Poor customer service from him and not even a goodbye or thanks from any of the staff on front desk. Food lovely, Customer service needs improving.

tasty with an excellent selection and efficient staff went on a Sunday, fairly busy I ordered a cup of coffee and got half a cup, the photo is how it arrived 😕 But in general impressive

I was there with my family. The service was excellent. The atmosphere is absolutely beautiful. This was my first visit but it will not be the last. The food was really good. The soup came with two different meat, chicken and shrimp but I believe the base of the soup was the same. I enjoyed the soup but chicken was a bit dry. I ordered noodles and two orders coconut rice one egg fried rice both very tasty. The main course ordered , duck, 2 prawns and one chicken dishes but I later realised mum’s dish was chicken as well as mine but suppose to be a prawn dish. I asked, the staff to change mum’s dish. I wasn’t happy with my chicken dish but I had it, duck and prawn dishes were very tasty. We didn’t have any desserts but beer was pretty good be honest. We were full and loved the taste.
