Absolutely gorgeous restaurant, took my 15 yo for birthday dinner as she loves Chinese food. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, the staff very polite and professional. Food was amazing, even my partner who visited Hong Kong said that this was the best food he ever tried. They surprised my daughter with birthday song and dessert 🍨 too and it was just an amazing relaxing place to have a family dinner. Thank you. Highly recommend.

Not the cheapest, but defiantly one of the best Chines restaurants/take away in the area.

We had a lovely meal here with friends for a Birthday celebration 🎉 the food was amazing, but what really spoilt it for us all was there a big party in for food with lots of children which obviously thought the restaurant was a play ground and was running around all the tables shouting,whilst the parents sat chatting...This is not acceptable especially when you're out for a special occasion and the cost of the night...so would probably think twice again ...

Excellent food. The best Chinese food we have had in England on all our visits, including top-end in London. The service is friendly and efficient. They are very flexible allowing you to take your time or move through. It has a very pleasing, elegant layout and decor. We visited 3 times in the week we were in Kent and enjoyed every one. We tried different things on each visit and we were very pleased with them all. Very fresh and tasty. We tried the chicken spring rolls, the duck pancakes, the pork dumplings, peking steak, sweet and sour pork (very crispy, as it should be), chicken with ginger and spring onions plus special fried rice. It is a popular place and we can see why. Recommend you book a table, it gets busy with family groups. Highly recommend.

We visited the Jasmine House after reading the reviews on Trip Advisor. I can't believe the poor reviews on there because we found this restaurant to be excellent in every way. We visit lots of restaurants and this one ranks among the best we've found. Delicious mixed hors d'ouvres (the ran toasts were exceptional the sping rolls were so light and crisp), were followed by an aromatic crispy duck that was perfect/ We then sampled sweet and sour chicken, crispy chilli beef, chicken and cashew nuts and a sizzling chicken and spring onion. All were lovely and very tasty. We finished with ice cream, banana fritters and apple fritters. Portion sizes were large, the service was superb and the food arrived quickly and piping hot. There waa also no problems when we wanted to take a pause between each course. Yop marks Jasmin House!

Jasmine is really good. Travel Lodge Ashford is the pits. Honestly, if you do decide to waste your money, bring anti bite cream... that is just for the managers... its awful.

Visited the restaurant today, probably won’t revisit, thought food very expensive compared to other restaurants, portions sizes small, drinks very expensive, restaurant itself well laid out and presentable, car parking good , however value for money poor in my opinion

We ordered the seafood platter which was really nice you can tell they cook everything fresh. However the noodles I was disappointed as they were similar to local takeaways. And the items are definitely overpriced compared to the portions and was expecting more in terms of taste. Customer service could’ve been better since we were faced with comments like “you tell me what you want”and “just wait it’s coming.” It was nice try the place out and the food was good but based on price and service I won’t be visiting again unfortunately.

The food tasted fresh but it was a very long time coming out and then was served warm rather than hot. I can only assume it was waiting to be served to us at our table. We ordered the set menu, a large lemonade and one cider and the bill was £87 for two people. I think it was over priced for the overall experience. Although there was good variation of dishes I would have liked more rice. The service was good, however we didn’t need much attention. There are large tables for larger parties and someone had a birthday celebration where the restaurant played a very long birthday song. Based on my experience this time, I probably wouldn’t return.

Good food served promptly but totally impersonal service. On the expensive side especially the drinks. When the service charge was queried by my wife the waiter became aggresive and stated that you must pay by law which is clearly nonsense. He then continued to rant his opinions with a very bad attitude. We paid up and left. We are four people all working in a customer facing environment for many years. Needless to say we will not return.

My son and I visited Jasmine House Chinese for the first time this evening and it was fantastic! Food was amazing and the service was outstanding. I’d highly recommend.

Went Saturday 10th February 2024 for my birthday and was impressed with food and service very friendly staff,would recommend and will return for a evening Again.

This was our second visit to the Jasmine House, the food quality, service and atmosphere are exemplary. We had the mixed hors d'oeuvres for a starter followed up with the quarter aromatic duck, chicken in satay sauce, and Kung po chicken. The food was all excellent and we will definitely return.

Went to celebrate Chinese New Year and wasn’t disappointed at all! Ordered vegetarian meal and it was absolutely filling and delicious to say the least.

We were here for a celebratory dinner with friends who hadn't previously has the Jasmine House experience. The restaurant is immaculate and always has a lively and inviting atmosphere. As ever the food was beyond delicious. The courses were beautifully presented, by friendly, attentive and professional staff. the quality of the food was excellent, with generous portion sizes and fairly priced. We had a great evening, as clearly did the other guests. Thank you Jasmine House for another great evening.

We have not been since before Covid but thought we would give it a try. We had Hot & Sour Soup & prawn crackers - very good perhaps a bit vinegary Sizzling scallops with ginger & spring onion - SUPERB - scallops make a change Spicy Chilli Aubergine - very nice - different Boiled Rice Chinese Tea A very nice meal but it seemed a bit expensive at £72.60

I’m reviewing a takeaway but it didn’t give me that option. We have ordered takeouts from here for sometime, but our last one was our last one! Incredibly expensive now and the prices keep going up. The food is ok but really not worth the prices they are charging - shame!

I used to come here years ago when it was the Happy Eater. Its a lovely big restaurant and warm in the winter with calming music in the background. We had the garlic broccoli, Hong Kong style chicken, king prawn curry and chicken chowmein. The food was excellent and the staff very friendly. Highly recommended!

I held my mum and dads 25th anniversary party here. Everything was perfect. The staff, the food and atmosphere. Definitely recommend. Gerry the manager and his team made sure everything was 10/10. An amazing place with great food and service. There's plenty of parking available which is accessed straight off the A20 and always loads of spaces available. The staff are really friendly and happy to help. The food is amazing and there's plenty to choose from, even on the all you can eat menu

Have never been to this restaurant before, but came yesterday evening to collect a take away. The staff were very friendly, and the food ordered was delicious. We shall definitely be using the take away service again, and also come to eat in the restaurant too!

Not welcoming of new customers. 'Regular' customers or those known to the staff got attentive service, while new customers were rarely checked on. Very expensive for the food that you receive. Food nice but not anything special. Would not recommend

Literally the best Chinese in Kent! The service from ALL the staff is so amazing, they make you feel like part of the family! Always greeting you as you come in by name, never rushing you, and just so so polite and genuine. We visit once every few months and Heeno and his team always ask after our family and check where we would like to sit. The food is out of this world! Always fresh, always piping hot and ALWAYS DELICIOUS!! You definitely get what you pay for - and you cannot put a price on the superb atmosphere, experience and quality of service at Jasmine House!

Great food and friendly service. We had the mixed seafood starter set which was delicious. The staff was attentive and really take care of you, service was quick too. They have ample parking space at the front of the restaurant. Overall, a lovely restaurant!

Pleasant and comfortable inside but a little gloomy. The staff were very pleasant when their attention was called. The menu is comprehensive with a good choice for different tastes and the "taster" menus at set prices are good. There is a good drinks menu. The dishes we tried were very tasty and well presented but angled to the "English taste" rather than Cantonese food elsewhere. I noticed that regulars are treated very well and there was a great party for a birthday celebration. Also children were treated very well. They are clearly very popular for takeaway meals Good parking and access for the disabled.

We've been coming here for years. This time, there seemed to be a lot of new staff which we are quite concerned about as we have always enjoyed the maitre D (Hena??) who has been there every time we visited before, but this time was missing. The atmosphere didn't seem the same without him as he is brilliant. I would have given four stars as the food was still quite good (wonder how for much longer), but I am quite annoyed. As usual we ordered a lot so asked for a 'doggy bag'. We got 4 plastic dishes and a carrier bag. When the bill arrived it states £2.00 for the dishes and 50p for the flimsy carrier bag. First time ever charged. We had not been told! They also added a service charge which we would always pay BUT which I later kept kicking myself for not deducting the £2.50 from. This is a petty, greedy charge particularly as our bill came to nearly £140! Think again Jasmine staff. Treating customers as a cash cow might work for a short while, but it could be the first moves to people not returning.

I have been hear before for my brothers b day eight people last time the bill was £240 This time is £455 pounds !!! That’s a weeks holiday for one ☝️ Meal one night. Expensive.

Couldn't fault the food all be it very overpriced, but waited 20 minutes for a drink , then my wine was topped up from the wrong bottle and didn't even offer to change the glass and was charged for a takeaway carton for food i had already payed for but couldn't finish then slapped with a service charge, when I challenged the charge waiter became very argumentative and confrontational. Definitely won't return 😕

Best chinese food I have ever had.

This restaurant is beautifully decorated, perfect comfortable temperature and very welcoming. The staff are friendly and attentive and take the time to chat to you. Food is delivered quickly and served hot. Although slightly expensive, it was very nice. Its just a shame that some of the 'locals' are not family friendly and went out of their way to ensure we felt uncomfortable as we left. However staff were very appreciative of our service

We have been eating at Jasmine House for a some years and there is always a warm welcome. The food is absolutely superb – I cannot adequately describe how perfect it is. The staff are wonderful and make time to converse with diners which is delightful. We always leave feeling that we want to return soon and we are always confident that we will again experience the same high standards. We do not live locally and we highly recommend Jasmine House as it is worth travelling to.

The food was good as always but price increases and service has made the experience too much for a midweek night out. A mixed starter, one main, noodles and rice plus modest drinks came to a few pence under £70 for 2. It will still be an option for us to return but price will be a consideration.

It’s more so Chinese for “the Brits”, which if this is your game, then I am sure you’ll enjoy this. But you’d find this food from any other Chinese takeaway, and if you’d be looking for authentic Chinese dishes, then this might not be your place. Good facilities for baby change however.

Wow ! An amazing meal this evening Our first visit having moved recently to just 5 miles down the road , needless to say we will be back often ! We had set menu B , so much food and all so wonderfully cooked and tasty The staff are friendly and attentive Can honestly say I don’t remember ever having a better chinese meal Thank you!

Great welcome, pleasant staff and good food at a price. Amazed that, although finger bowls were provided, the napkins were only flimsy paper. My only other criticism was that the prices actually charged were higher than those shown on the online menu and the total bill was higher than similar restaurants to start with. A 10% service charge was incuded on the bill, which was more than fair, as the service was very good indeed. A single serving of rice is enough for at least two people.

Cannot even explain how much I love this place! The best in Kent, if not the UK! Fed a family of 6 for £100 and we were all full. We were given the option to wait or get our food. It was all hot. Staff were very kind despite our crying babies. JUST AMAZING It was so delicious and was worth every penny. Far better than a posh Chinese in China town (London) in respects of the quality and staff. 110% would recommend!!!! 😇

First time at this restaurant. Was 10 mile drive from home but worth every mile. Good first impression, nice surroundings! Twelve of us visited this restaurant for my birthday. We shared the mixed starters and duck and then ordered some mains to share along with noodles. The food was delicious and the staff were so friendly and attentive, nothing was too much for them. I also had happy birthday played for me and was given some ice cream with candles in. Thank you to the staff for making it such a memorable occasion!

Don't judge a book by it's cover - excellent food, good option set menus, excellent value for money given the quality of food on offer, but above all, friendly, welcoming and attentive services. We came because of all the great reviews but urgh, the food was gross. Nice spring rolls and dumplings but tempura is actually basic battered and saturated in oil we had to send it back. Tempura should be light and crispy not heavy and wet with oil. The curry sauce had split and was curdled so I felt robbed to be paying £15 for a dish that was inedible. All top prices but not good food. Maybe the chef was having a bad day…

The food was great but I did find the portions were a bit small, especially prawn toasts I had to start which were £7.50 for 4 bits of toast. The service was excellent, they really looked after myself and my friend. Really fast too. One thing I didn't like was getting interrupted twice by an over the top happy birthday song and dance nonsense with the loud music and flashing lights which is dangerous for epileptic people, including myself but fortunately I was alright. This is something you'd expect in Frankie and Benny's or some other place that does that sort of thing. In terms of the portions, in particular what you're paying, they could be a bit bigger. You can get a whole lot more in the takeaway menu and cheaper! So I think I will stick with takeaway in future for now. Other than that, I enjoyed myself.

Went due to TA and was not let down, staff were friendly and food was excellent. Had the set meal and portions were good. I would recommend to book as night we visited was full. Only thing I believe let it down was cost of drinks, over £8 for glass of wine and £4.40 for a coke seems excessive to me!!
