The best restaurants serving British food in Wales

This place is awesome. The food was exceptional. As a party of 6 we had most items on the menu 2/3 dishes each and they were more substantial than usual tapas. The Hispi Cabbage with Miso & Marmite & Oxtail Marmalade that I had was to die for, as was everything else that was served up. Reminded me of Pasture in Cardiff & not many places can pull that off !! A hidden gem but a must visit. We will be back.

We recently enjoyed a gathering at Y Sgwar with a group of 24—12 adults and 12 children—and it couldn’t have gone better. From the start, Lorraine and Cassy were incredibly helpful in organising everything, making sure our large group would have a smooth experience. Their suggestion to pre-order our meals worked perfectly, allowing everyone to settle in and enjoy themselves without any delay. The food was fantastic—beautifully presented, served at just the right temperature, and absolutely delicious. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared, and it was clear the kitchen took great care with each one. Both the adults and children had a variety of options that were truly enjoyed by all, adding to the relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. Excellent Sunday lunch. After trying many restaurants in pembrokshire this is by far the best Sunday lunch in the area we have had.

The staff are really rude here don't bother the food was disgusting g and sausages burnt bacon you could of knocked a wall down with it the lady in the kitchen was flying high on drugs it was blatant to see wow what a cafe stay well clear of this place

Great Sunday lunch, choice of 4 meats, lots of different veggies, gravy, all homemade. Friendly pub, cash only.

Had the most amazing sunday roast here on the 3rd nov. I chose the roast pork which came with roast potatoes yorkshire pudding red cabbage cauliflower broccoli green beans peas & an absolutely delicious gravy! All homemade with fresh ingredients beautifully cooked generous portions all served hot. The staff were friendly & helpful too. Would highly recommend & i will return on my next stay in Wales. Went to Truffle with my children yesterday evening. The ambience of the restaurant was great (lots of fairy lights which were lovely but could do with the dimming the top lights a little). The service was excellent; the food was really delicious: tasty; well presented and the quantity was just right. We were very warmly greeted and treated. We shall certainly eat there again. Would highly recommend.
