Can't speak highly enough of this lively, lovely little place. So welcoming, such perfectly done food, mix of friendly faces, excellent service, quality produce, really cannot go wrong. Sounds daft but someone in the kitchen really knows how to turn out a perfect fried egg - and the bacon is right back to old school, dry cure, thick, crispy but tender. Simple stuff done to perfection. Delicious all round. (Sorry no photos but we hoovered everything too fast)

I’ve eaten here a few times and can honestly say; I can’t fault it. My Only down side, they don’t do chips - My staple diet -. But the food and staff do an excellent job. Depending on how hungry I am; it could be a breakfast or the special. I had their cottage pie the last time I went and it was really tasty and not expensive. If in Tywyn well worth a visit.

Whilst staying in Tywyn, I fancied a traditional English breakfast. We stopped at a couple of places on the high street but it was either a bit fancy, and pricey, or didn't have what I wanted on the menu. We came across this little cafe near the end of the high street. We were met by a friendly young girl who said she would take our order. I ordered the regular breakfast for £8 and a latte. I don't like mushrooms or tomato so I asked if I could swap for another item and she said yes, no problem. I also asked for a slice of toast as it wasn't listed with the breakfast. She said it came with toast. When I came to pay, she charged me £8. I queried this as I had ordered a latte as well. She said tea or coffee were included in the price. Great value for money. The breakfast was hot, well presented and everything cooked to just how I like it. Coffee was nice too. We only found this place towards the end of our stay. Had we found it earlier, I am sure we would have visited more than once. Highly recommended.

We visited this beautifully decorated cafe for breakfast as a family of five. We received a very friendly welcome as soon as we walked through the door and staff did not hesitate to move tables for us to be able to sit together. All staff are very professional, delivering an extremely relaxed and genuinely friendly atmosphere. A wide choice of breakfast/ light lunch and drinks on offer and it was no trouble at all to exchange an item on the breakfast menu for a preferred food, something which can be refused in other nearby establishments. The food was AMAZING and as the title says, the BEST breakfast we have experienced in Tywyn! Nothing seemed too much trouble. We didn’t feel rushed to leave our table after finishing our breakfast, even though the cafe was full, this further adding to their friendly and relaxing environment. Being further up the high street, this exceptional little cafe may not be as well known as others but certainly one to walk a little further for! We will definitely be returning.

We were visiting Tywyn for a few days and had to leave our Airbnb by 10am. We decided to get breakfast before our 4 hour journey home. As we were walking our dog I saw a man that appeared to be local and asked him if he could recommend a place for breakfast, he recommended Cegin Fach. We went in and within a few minutes it was filled up with locals. We ordered & was greeted by a very friendly man and lady. We sat in the corner with our Border Collie. We ordered 2 Regular breakfasts with Americano coffees. The food was fresh and delicious. The coffee was great and the service was fast & friendly. If we lived closer this would be our regular cafe,

Although I'm a strict vegan, i.e. careful about cross-contamination with utensils and serving areas in kitchens, I've found the owners to be conscientious and accommodating with their servings of non-dairy food. They've gone out of their way to cook vegan sausages and tomatoes separately from the meat cooking areas and I've always enjoyed the hospitality. They serve oat milk with their beverages, too!

Fantastic place for any meal. Friendly ,welcoming atmosphere. Gets busy lunchtimes. Their big breakfast is too much, good vegetarian breakfast. If I could transpose the staff to Shrewsbury to give cafe staff here, lessons in being friendly, I would. Great job keep it up.

Back again! Crowded but justified. Pleasant atmosphere and polite service as usual. We both had the large breakfast - and struggled! Certainly a favourite.

Genuinely fabulous! A stunning location, lovely clean room with some unexpected embellishments. Wonderful staff, serving exceptional food and a really cool aviator themed bar! (breakfast delivered the night before for an early check out!) my photos don't do it justice. I just hope I'm not doing myself an injustice by reviewing this place to find it not available next time I come to stay!

Sheeps and Leeks has become a staple visit whenever we're in the area. Although small in terms of covers it is a fantastic experience. You don't in any way feel crowded, because they have got the mix between tables and space perfect. When you enter you're not quite sure what to expect. The staff greet you warmly and then take you downstairs into the seating area. What happens then is simply sensational. You are treated to a simply superb tasting menu, showcasing local produce and sublime cookery. The wine pairing is exceptional, though obviously if going for that then a taxi is the right mode of transport. The food is amazing! Simple as. Presentation is stunning, whilst the flavours are deep and complex, but not overbearing. I would be amazed if a Michelin star was not on the very near horizon! This is a must go to restaurant if you like fine food and wine, great service and prime location.

We visited today, although there was a large group booking already there we were seated with no problems and the service was very quick and efficient. I had the welsh black burger.. it was one of the best burgers I've had, the aber falls whisky sauce was beautiful, the burger was an "edwards burger", as anybody in the area knows Edwards is an award winning butchers with amazing quality local meat so to have such quality ingredients on the menu is an absolute winner for me. The chips were cooked to perfection, the lasagne tasted amazing too. I'd like to say a special mention to Alex, he was our waiter for the day. His customer service is quite possibly the best I have ever encountered. Well done to all involved in mixopoly, the place is amazing.
