Just popped in having heard this venue was amazing. Such a friendly welcome, so homely and comfortable. The menu had lots to offer, jacket potatoes, sandwiches and cakes to die for. The selection was vegan and vegetarian suitable. I had tea, which was served with a tea strainer as it was real tea leaves, in quaint china tea pot with milk in cow shaped jug and lovely bone china tea cup and saucer. I also chose raspberry and chocolate cake, which was moist, flavourful and scrumptious. The rest of the area was like a gift shop/antique shop, a surprise around every corner. In the other part is a dog grooming parlour which is a bonus as the restaurant is dog friendly and has its own dog menu !

Llike a secret cave of unusual gifts with a yummy tea room attached. lays something intersting on the menu, and all cakes are HOME BAKED! Maria is a fabulous cook and also gives everyone a warm welcome . Dogs are made welcome as are cats ( I have taken in a couple to visit) This is just what pet lovers have been waiting for in the Rhondda

What a hidden delight, finally visited after months of trying to get there ( living minutes from there) Lovely food in lovely surroundings and purchased something I'd been looking for Their menu for dogs should you wish to visit when taking your dog for a walk is quite amazing I want to point out I am not a dog owner, but even I can appreciate the hard work and thought that's gone into this business A lovely proprietor or should I say proprietress Would recommend and can't wait for next visit

Delightful an hour at this very pleasant venue. There was a great choice of cakes as well as lots of other things to eat. Everything was fresh and freshly produced by Maria the owner of the business. We relaxed over a pot of tea and delicious cakes and then spent half an hour browsing through the shop. Attractive new gifts and old upcycled items. Thanks Maria and Byron for a pleasant time.

Little gem tucked away. This is the most unusual cafe in the area as on the same premises there is a lovely little shop and a dog grooming parlour!! The menu is extensive for a cafe this size, everything is freshly prepared, generously portioned and served on beautiful china by the very friendly proprietor, you can also have fabulous cake which can be purchased to take home. The shop sells a variety of pretty vintage items at reasonable prices. The presence of the dog parlour is not at all intrusive whilst you dine.Highly recommended I intend to visit often.

We went by chance on someone's recommendation. It was charming, in a shabby chic way. The food was home made and the cakes were very tempting (including gluten free). There was a range of items for sale and reasonably priced.

Having previously sampled the best ever blackberry pie 'just like my Mum used to make ' according to my husband, we decided to take my Mum for afternoon tea. We were welcomed with open arms & hugs and plied with delicacies both sweet and savoury. Not satisfied with the offerings for afternoon tea which already had us loosening waistbands and belts, we had to revisit the World's best blackberry pie and a lemon cheesecake to die for. This establishment is thoroughly recommended by us. It is completely dog friendly, the food is yummy and you can shop for unique gifts. We will be visiting again soon! :) x

I visited at lunch time and had a warm welcome. The meal was beautiful, well presented, tasty and very good value. The chocolate and orange cake was so good I had to take a piece home! Coffee too was excellent. Very highly recommended for a visit. There is a brilliant shop attached too where you can buy all sorts of things like candles, ornaments, wall plaques, hand made soaps etc etc.

This tea room has only just been opened and already its a hit with those in the know. We ate a lovely lunch which was finished off with delicious home made cake. There is lots of choice both in food and in drinks. When you have finished eating wander around the lovely gift area which has something for everyone. We felt as though we were back in the '50s, its top quality and will certainly not break the bank. Please do not be put off by the fact its at the entrance to an industrial estate-once inside you will not be aware of the exterior. Well worth a visit
