The best restaurants serving British food in Rhondda Cynon Taf South Wales

First time we ordered here to be unest it's wosh great fast service and oll hot 🔥 nice one thank u very ceep up the good service and food

Looks like the premises is closed. Difficult to find opening hours thought it was by midday but I pass there every other day at different times and it's locked up,I'm not on social media but it's been closed now for too long!Pity because I liked their coffee

Lovely food at a very reasonable price. Very friendly staff and very accommodating. Dog friendly. Have been here a couple of times and will definitely enjoy going there again when we visit our daughter who lives nearby. Sad to say this little gem has now closed down and up for sale 😢 Areal shame for traditional pubs with proper food.

During all this time of fake opportunistic price hikes in energy, fuel and food, that has disgustingly been allowed by the UK government, this wonderful place completely bucked the trend, and never once jumped onto the bandwagon, and succumb to the avarice shown by everyone else in this country. Their prices never changed, and the food was the same with the same amounts of each item. The food is fantastic value, always has been. Always freshly made and served by happy, friendly and competent staff. A bargain for me are the breakfast choices, and I go nowhere else, I see no need to.

Great staff, really looking after you. Veggie breakfast was great. Breakfast and coffee came to £11.50. Be prepared they only take cash. Plenty of seating.

The Bear Inn geboekt als B&B in de buurt van Pontyclun. Een heel oude historische pub die met hart en ziel gerund wordt door Collin en zijn staf. Zo oud en historisch de pub is, zo modern en goed uitgerust is de slaap accomodatie , gloednieuw en super verzorgd, net en hygiënisch. Koffie en thee naar keuze staan klaar naast de waterkoker. Water is er ook voorhanden. 3 nachten gebleven, drie maal een hartig, super lekker ontbijt genomen na een verkwikkende nachtrust in een zeer rustige omgeving. 1 maal 's avonds gegeten ( keuken open tot 21 U ), super lekkere fish and chips.... Ècht waar voor je geld. Pub geluiden dringen niet door tot de slaapkamers. Collin en zijn medewerkers doen al het mogelijke om het naar je zin te maken. 's Avonds en tijdens de namiddag is de pub bevolkt met lokale vriendelijke pubgasten die niet verlegen zitten om een praatje. Na jaren bij vrienden te hebben gelogeerd in Wales was ik verplicht door omstandigheden om een nieuwe logement te zoeken.... Heb dit gevonden in the Bear Inn, mijn nieuwe stekje in Wales. Ik beveel de Bear Inn dan ook ten zeerste aan! Niet duur, eerlijk, hartelijk, hygiënisch.... Echt een aanrader!!!!! Collin, I 'll be back!

I’ve never had a bad trip here. Fast, polite staff and gorgeous ice cream!!! They also do takeaway pots of ice cream for your freezer.

Recently moved in down the hill from this pub and have wanted to stop for a drink ever since . Today we stopped in and so glad we did. Such a warm welcome from the owner. A traditional, warm welcoming atmosphere. Bonus was the park opposite for the kids. I look forward to visiting again soon and hopefully for food next time.

Service and food was outstanding. Got the smash burger expecting the usual pub experience and was blown away. Would recommend!

What a beautiful restaurant with a lovely atmosphere!, even though they were extremely busy due to the good weather the food was fantastic! Service was great! Staff very friendly, definately visiting again soon!

This lovely pub/restaurant is set in the heart of the valleys. I would recommend calling ahead as it gets very busy. Always a warm welcome but staff are very busy. Lovely menu with plenty of choice and large portions! Lovely little pub!!

We decided to spend an Easter afternoon at the Windsor as it was glorious sunny day . I Ordered a pint of Heineken and half a pint of orange juice and lemonade which came to £9.40… was shocked at the price .. we had just the one and enjoyed the evening elsewhere …
