During all this time of fake opportunistic price hikes in energy, fuel and food, that has disgustingly been allowed by the UK government, this wonderful place completely bucked the trend, and never once jumped onto the bandwagon, and succumb to the avarice shown by everyone else in this country. Their prices never changed, and the food was the same with the same amounts of each item. The food is fantastic value, as it's always been. It's always freshly made and served by happy, friendly and competent staff. A bargain for me are the breakfast choices, and I go nowhere else, I see no need to.

Wonderful welcome from the female waitress that worked there. Wish I took her name to acknowledge her directly. On entry it looked very crowded so wasn’t sure if we’d find a spot. She quickly reassured us there was space at the back and helped us to our seats. When seated she us she was very friendly and asked us questions as this was our first visit, of many no doubt. The food was of a higher price than anticipated at a cafe but the quality of the food reflected and demanded this. After our meals, I no longer had an issue with the slightly higher price. Very good range of food, drinks and deserts. Due to lactose intolerance I had to ask a variety of questions related to the food but everyone was very well educated on their offerings which isn’t the usual for a smaller food outlet such as this. They were able to assist with certain alternatives so I could enjoy the food. On exit we were once again thanked for our visit and made to feel very welcome and invited back. The level of friendly and professional customer service far exceeded anything experienced at similar cafes. Look forward to visiting again.

I didn't enjoy it here. It was edible, but the milkshake was disgustingly sweet, and you're talking to a sweet-toothed person. Something strange about the hash-browns. Tasted of chemicals. Not sure if they're using a hotplate or pan, but some cleaning fluid not burned off? Potentially nasty. Anyway, other than that, it was scrupulously clean, not busy (maybe I should have taken the hint?) Eating here won't kill you, but I won't be back, sorry.

Best breakfast cafe in Treorchy. With nine breakfasts to choose from and the ability to add extra items, you will definitely find a breakfast perfect for you. Great coffee and friendly staff too. Note it is cash only, but there are two cash points just outside.

Very clean. Had a number 5 breakfast and a latte - £10.60 plenty of of it and tasty .

Lovely breakfast but the prices have increased to expensive level. Its no longer value for money. I Won't be making it a regular breakfast treat.

Great food and service, not sure if they are open on a Sunday though as they were closed when visited.

Great service and food after a long bike ride with my son. Even managed to reach an agreement when we found out they only take cash (only had my phone with me). Also let us park our bikes in the outside garden at the back. Would def visit again - thanks!

We go there every friday for a mid morning breakfast. A big menu to cater for everyone. Food is good, with great coffee and the staff very polite and friendly. Would recommend if looking for a quick bite to eat or just a coffee.

Very clean and a lovely atmosphere to sit in. The owner always makes you feel welcome. There is lovely food here and a good cuppa. The best thing also is it is not overpriced. Will I go again? For sure. I recommend this place.

This is our first visit to Treorchy and we were amazed by the choice of independant shops on the high street (Bute Street) which included the gift shops Sparkilicious and Wonder stuff, Emily Kate boutique, Elegance the clothes shop and CJ Morris the butcher's. Bute Street is about a mile long with breathtaking views of the mountains and we were lucky enough to park on the high street As well as independent shops there are also the high street favourites such as Boots, Sheppards Pharmacy and Gregg's, as well as lots of cafes and restaurants. We randomly selected Cafe Cafe and we were amazed by the welcome we received. On arrival we provided our contact details for the track and trace system and were shown to our table which was cleaned before we sat down. I ordered the jacket potatoe with beans, my partner had chilli and rice and the baby had chicken nuggets and chips. The service was prompt, the portion sizes were large and the food was delicious and cooked to order. This cafe offers excellent value for money and the coffees are simply stunning (probably the best I have ever tasted). We will definitely be returning to both Cafe Cafe and Treorchy. After eating lunch we continued with our shopping and visited a local park before popping to Dunnings Chip Shop in Pentre for our tea (sausage in batter with chips and gravy which were also excellent value for money and really tasry).

me and my family visited here during lockdown and the standard of hygiene is amazing. They also had us to sign our details for track and trace reasons. Excellent table service and didnt wait long to have our food. The portion sizes are huge and the food is amazing. A wide selection of fresh home made foods are available aswell as breakfasts, jacket potatoes, sandwiches, burgers and desserts. Also the flavoured coffee is delicious. Will deffo be back and would highly recommend to anyone who hasn't already visited

We called into this establishment for an quick lunch and were very pleased with what we were presented with. The food was good and clean and well presented and we will visit again.

We were visiting Treorchy 'Britain's Best High Street' and were in desperate need of refreshments. We consulted the trusty TripAdvisor and chose to try Cafe Cafe as it has good reviews. The Cafe was busy and had a lovely buzz of chatter and the chinking of cutlery on crockery. I think the lady behind the counter could see we didn't know what to do so she immediately greeted us and said to find a table anywhere we liked and someone would be over to take our order. We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch and coffees and we took advantage of the nice clean toilet facilities. The welcome, the service, the food and the surroundings all contributed to a very pleasant hour while we recharged our batteries to continue with our shopping.

We been in this cafe a few times now and they really welcome us everytime now, my auntie and uncle visit here every week and are treated as part of their family. My uncle recommends the omelet they serve.

My partner went to Treorchy for an hour or so, with a view to popping in to Hot Gossip for food whilst we were there. The place was full, so we went for a walk and came across Cafe Cafe, and we were so glad we did.I’m at a loss to understand why we haven’t noticed this place before. I was even more surprised when one of the staff told us that it had been there for about 11 years!!We both ordered omelettes and coffees. The food was delicious and the coffees excellent: the good service added to the experience. Let’s just say we’ll be going back.

I regularly come here just for the amazing coffee they make. Much much better than the top high street coffee shops.

Cafe Cafe no me decepcionó, los precios son muy razonables, £6 por un enorme desayuno con una gran café con leche. La comida era deliciosa, el servicio rápido, y el personal era acogedor y amable.

Stopped when passing to sample their Caperchino coffee. Variable selection of foods available. There's a back room which is apparently frequented by smokers, but does offer an overspill to the main café. Beware it can get quite busy at dinner time.

My partner and I have eaten in here several times, and we have yet to have a bad meal. The staff are very helpful and friendly try to accommodate your needs. The breakfast options are excellent and the jacket potatoes are amazing. We will be back. If I could give you one tip, there is limited seating so be prepared to wait a little while for a table during busy periods.

Wide menu offering all the usuals - cooked breakfasts, egg and chips, but also roast dinners and a variety of desserts. The waitress is always very friendly and pleasant. The food is good and reasonably priced, service is usually quick. The seating is a little cramped, but I wouldn't let this put you off. Would recommend.

An extensive menu,fast and friendly service. Lovely. Visit here quite often. Family friendly too. Located on the Main Street of Treorchy, easy to find. Make a fantastic hot chocolate with lashing of squirts cream. Mm mmmmm.
