The Windsor Hotel in Rhondda Cynon Taf

We stopped here as we had been walking the dog. It was a Sunday so we were doubtful we could get a seat. We did manage to in the bar. It does have its regular drinkers so I would recommend the restaurant if you have children. The staff are amazing and the food was the best Sunday lunch we have had in a long time. It's reasonably priced and we couldn't finish it all. Definitely worth a visit. We will be back.

Another lovely Christmas Dinner today , food served was hot so was the plates which makes a big difference. If you've not tried their food I would recommend you do. The staff are friendly, efficient and was lovely to be served by them. Thank you for an excellent service.

Superb Sunday lunch. Ordered the additional sides which her yummy too but definitely not necessary as portion sizes were perfect. Great portions for the kids aged 7-10. One vegan friend thoroughly enjoyed her nut roast too. All the staff were really accommodating, checking in regularly and generally friendly. Would certainly recommend :)

Lovely local pub with a fab atmosphere and brilliant service. Really cannot go wrong with this pub. Well worth a visit!!

Went for Sunday lunch today with my family, food was great , staff very friendly , they also have a kids menu for a Sunday which most pubs don't, my son don't like cooked dinner so he went for the pizza & chips and enjoyed , definitely be back 😀

Fantastic local pub, superb menu with lots of options - we had the chicken platter and the chip shop platter and both were amazing, lovely drinks, there was a singer playing great tunes. All round a great evening, thoroughly enjoyed and will be back

I have to be honest- we only visited this restaurant because we couldn’t get into our first choice as we left it too late to book. Are we disappointed? Most certainly not. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening from start to finish. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. They were so attentive, courteous and efficient, particularly Jess who was our main waitress. The food was delicious,served promptly and piping hot. Highly recommend.

Lovely environment, very welcoming staff, couldn’t do enough for us when we arrived, there were 13 of us older gents. We had a lovely choice of seating, we chose near the back entrance as I cook like an egg left in the sun in africa during the zulu war and dave the butcher is no better, that’s why we call him sweaty dave, I’m known as baked bean brian. The boys and I enjoyed our meals and stayed to have a few bevs afterwards. Not a single complaint from us, we all thoroughly enjoyed the food, staff were very efficient and courtious. We’ve already booked in for our next meal, what an accomplished little resturaunt. Would highly reccommend to anyone around or travelling past the pontyclun area.

Heard that THE WINDSOR Pontyclun had reopened after an extensive refurbishment, my son and I went for lunch on 2nd May 2024. What a pleasant surprise the premises had certainly had an excellent tart-up, was shown into the dining area, found it cold and unwelcoming,the menu did not move me in the least. Tried the Ham ,chicken and leek pie, which I found looked unappetising, the mashed potatoes were dry, the veg wanted another few minutes in the pot, the pie was nothing to write home about, intended having a dessert with the meal but changed my mind. I didn't want to waste any more hard earned money on such a disappointing meal. I did send a comment regarding the veg, to the Chef ? Will not recommend the Windsor to my friends

Food was delicious. Kayleigh is always super friendly and makes us feel very welcome. She’s an asset to the team and we always enjoy coming here

The Windsor was a lovely warm and welcoming pub. Me and my mum went for some picky bits which were all delicious and we were served by wonderful staff, Kelsey was our lovely waitress. 10/10 would go again!

SUPERB. Amazing place for food, drinks or just a catch up with mates watching sport on their multiple TV screens and channels. A special mention to Kayleigh and Kelsey for exceptional service tonight. Both go above and beyond to ensure your experience at the pub is exceptional, as do all the staff at the Windsor. There is absolutely no better venue in the area. If you live or are just visiting the area, the Windsor is a must.

Came for Friday lunch with daughter and baby granddaughter. Lovely food (as always), portions size just right, value for money and great friendly, professional service by Kelsey and the other staff.

Absolutely great food. Today I had the lasagna on the two for £16.95 deal. As ever the food was excellent quality. Staff are lovely as well.

Amazing meals very affordable with the 2 meals 16.50 Monday to Thursday and feed the family for 4 for 23£! The waitress Kelsey was outstanding very friendly, chatty, amazing service from the lady

Came here for lunch, both staff (Kelsey & Lucy) were very accommodating, helpful and very friendly. I ordered the steak ciabatta and was served to me within reasonable time. Lovely clean pub with a lovely atmosphere would 100% recommend :)

Honestly one of the best meals we’ve had and the cocktails were stunning and the price is so affordable can’t go wrong for 2 meals and 2 cocktails for £25.50. The service was amazing our server Lucy was very warm and welcoming, would recommend to anyone.

Really tasty food, plenty of flavour (I had the Buffalo Taco Rolls for mains) The girls always have a bright smile and give the best service ever!

Went with my friends for a natter and catch up. Service was fantastic, with an extra special personal touch from the waitress - Kelsey. She was very smily, friendly and went out of her way to make our evening enjoyable. Food was outstanding and enjoyed some recommended wines to wash it down with. Will definitely return

Today 3rd march 2024. My mother and GF and myself and aunt and uncle. Went to this pub for sunday lunch. Me and GF had Beef dinner. Uncle had Turkey And my mother and aunt had child portion. Food was "AWSOME" I would Recomend this place anytime. Venue clean.10/10 Food 10/10 Service 10/10 Staff 10/10
