Had my baby shower here in their private function room - highly recommend. A gorgeous space perfect for up to 20 people to enjoy an afternoon together. Stunning decor, beautiful food and delightful afternoon tea with a great service. Could not recommend enough! The food and drinks were delicious and reasonably priced.

Sprokwobbles has closed. What a tragedy. Lovely food and friendly staff. Miss it so much. Let's hope it can return soon. Nothing to match it in Usk.

Visited after a lovely post-Christmas walk along the canal. I ordered a bowl of soup and my husband only wanted a coffee. This cafe is in a beautiful setting and the menu looked good. However, I waited ages for the soup to arrive and in fact thought they had forgotten about me so I went to ask. I was told there were two other orders in front of me. My husband had long finished his coffee when it did eventually arrive. Great potential here but the service needs to be sorted. Hopefully this was just a blip on the day we visited.

From the minute we walked through the door the welcome feeling hits you. The staff were so friendly and happy, very attentive and again very welcoming. The food was absolutely beautiful. I had the roast pork and my husband had fish and chips. Every mouthful was delicious, from the roast potatoes to the Yorkshire pudding. We were visiting on holiday so probably won’t be back here, but if we lived local I’m sure we’d be regulars. Thank you for a beautiful Sunday roast

Friendly. Quirky. Lots of room. Good selection and quality. Excellent provision and care for allergens. Family run business and this shows with the personal touch you receive.

Visited here as I do regularly, not sure why I thought it would be any different to any other visit. Last visit before this I went in for a coffee only to be told it wasn't possible as they had cleaned down the coffee machine, 20 minutes prior to closing - to me a closing time is a closing time to the public and up until that point you serve them, then cleaning down commences after, but I could be wrong. This time I asked for a plain cheese sandwich after checking the shelves to which there was only tuna mayo & egg salad (something similar) left. The lady behind the counter refused to do this for me, blaming Natasha's Law, now I take this very seriously and understand the reasoning behind, however this law regards pre packaged food & labelling. As this isn't the first time I have been refused by the same lady something other than what's on the shelf (which most of the time may I add is hardly anything because they only make a certain amount & have a "it is what it is attitude". ) I am putting it down to pure laziness. It is a shame as Usk doesn't have a decent bakery. It is hardly ever open due to staff shortages, they aren't willing to branch out on customer requests and the attitude is far from hospitable.

We stopped here for dinner whilst visiting Usk for the weekend with friends. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly. It’s a beautiful pub and full of interesting things to see. The portions were massive and the service exceptional, especially Darcy, she was fantastic. We would definitely visit again. Thank you so much for a great evening!
