We stayed at the ARW for a short weekend break our anniversary. Our room was excellent, the price was very reasonable for the quality. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly during our stay and were happy to provide a bottle of bubbles for the room. Breakfast was first rate, the ambiance and decor was tasteful and the food was magnificent- we had chateaubriand steak for dinner on one night and went to a well-known upmarket restaurant the following might, and the ARW food we both thought was of much better quality. I'm sure we'll be back.

I have been coming to 57 BS for over 3 years and I will also say the food is impeccable … every Friday theme night is always a pleasure ! I recently came to the Italian night,as always it never disappoints! Even tho the recent change of ownership, nothing has changed the existing staff still remain , especially Chris head chef who delivers the best food ! This restaurant is definitely a go to place if you want to experience great food when visiting usk .

Brilliant meal at Fantastico last night(30/04/24) The Gamberi prawn starter was lovely with really fresh prawns. Primavera risotto was delicious and Tagliatelle Carnacina was Excellent. Great dessert’s accompanied by a great dessert wine.

Nags is a great restaurant, but when it comes to the best food in the world, Usk Eats still takes the crown. That being said, Nags definitely holds its own with delicious dishes that are packed with flavor and creativity. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the service is friendly and attentive. While the food is excellent and enjoyable, it doesn't quite match the sheer brilliance and consistency that Usk Eats delivers. Nags is definitely worth a visit, but for an unforgettable culinary experience, Usk Eats remains the top contender.

This place is stuck in an antiquated time warp. I could look past the fact that it has not been updated in the past 25 years, but to serve such poor food and expect a premium for it - just no excuse. Sunday lunch for two cost £130. The starter was overwhelming big - ordered brie - they literally served an entire wedge of brie. Way, way too big for a starter. My husband had pork for main. They served him what appeared to be the end of the joint which looked completely unpalatable - very dry and unappetising. They provide silver service for the veg, so if you think you may get some on your plate to start with and then go in for a bit more later – forget it. The veg was OK, but at £22 for a main course, boiled sprouts and carrots were unimaginative to say the least. Not even a hint of glaze or seasoning other than salt! We had a pavlova for pudding and the fruit was slushy and looked ready for the recycling bin. Won’t be going again in a hurry!

Visited after a lovely post-Christmas walk along the canal. I ordered a bowl of soup and my husband only wanted a coffee. This cafe is in a beautiful setting and the menu looked good. However, I waited ages for the soup to arrive and in fact thought they had forgotten about me so I went to ask. I was told there were two other orders in front of me. My husband had long finished his coffee when it did eventually arrive. Great potential here but the service needs to be sorted. Hopefully this was just a blip on the day we visited.

Stayed here for 4 nights for a work training course down the road . The location was perfect . The staff were so friendly. You pre order breakfast the evening before and it is cooked fresh on the morning as per your requests . The food was excellent . Had one evening meal in the restaurant and again it was superb , I chose the grazing menu as I just cannot finish a large meal . The price of £6.95 is a bargain , the fish in batter was delicious served either chunky chips . The bedrooms and bathroom are clean but dated , do not let this put you off . There is a Tassimo coffee machine , kettle and hair drier provided along with milk , tea and coffee pods . The bed was so comfy ! I loved Usk and would stay again
