The Fruits de Mer dish was probably the worst plate of food put in front of me, ever. The oyster resembled flegm, the crab looked like a burnt offering, and the two scallops were undercooked, unseasoned and tasteless.

Sat 15 of us for my sons first birthday after another eatery cancelled last minute because there was so many of us. Food was delicious and served timely despite there being so many of us. Luckily were put in our own empty room as well where we could order drinks from our side. Would absolutely recommend, thanks again!

Went here for a meal, can't fault it, the service was excellent and good home cooked food. Well priced too. Would return.

Called following a recommendation from the staff at Beaumaris Castle. Was not disappointed. Welcoming, attentive and helpful service. Well layed out, clean and tidy. Food was superb, we all had simple pub food but it was made with quality, fresh ingredients cooked and served perfectly. It really gave us a lovely end to a great day with family celebrating mums 80th, especially as I was then given interesting facts about the buildings history, and found a great souvenir postcard. Thankyou!

Visited this pub midweek after being recommended by a work colleague. Didn’t disappoint. Nicola and Dave were incredibly friendly, their children who popped in were very well behaved. Nicola was so helpful In getting us home at the end of the night. Will definitely return again. Thank you for a great experience in making our holiday.

Expensive drinks, no food, no atmosphere. Tried it after giving it a miss since Covid, wish I had not bothered. Declining from the standard it used to be with busy bar and good pub food. Such a pity the management have let it become so run down.

Disappointed! First time to try here and its advertised outside on the window its a Deli ? First off you aren’t allowed to go in the shop ? You have to order on a hatch on the side of the building ? Very strange situation. The sandwiches are pre made in a fridge ? I wanted a cheese & onion & mayo sandwich but there wasn’t any in the pre made fridge so someone made me a bap but it was awful! In any deli its always the cheese and onion and mayo mix (grated cheese mixed with onion & spring onions) but what i received was a old flaky bap with a cheese square slice sprinkle of onions & cheap mayo absolutely shocking to call the place a deli and receive that ! Only recommendation i can give to someone reading this go to the nice deli in the middle of the town. The only positive thing i can say is the woman who served me was polite. I will definitely never spend money in this place again. For reference i paid £3 for a large bap from Gwali Deli in Llangefni the start of the weak and it was twice the size and double of filling !.

Beware new car park charges. No longer worth nipping in for a drink. I live and work on Anglesey and while I don't go out for a drink in the pub after work often when I did, in recent times it's always been the Anglesey Arms. Unfortunately on a recent trip I was stung for £100 parking fine. Reading their sign unless you're a hotel guest or you're eating they'll charge you £5 for 3 hours or £10 for longer. Being that drinking guinness zero already costs me more than a regular pint and they want to add £10 to my evening I'll find somewhere else going forwards.
