we stayed two nights and the accomodation and the food, especially the breakfast, were excellent. The staff were very obliging and we had a very pleasant stay which we will repeat

I very rarely, if ever I give a 1 star review, but this warranted it. We had a family meal booked for 9 people for 5.30. We all ordered and one member asked to order dessert at the same time as main courses, as we were aware kitchen closed at 7.00 and was told they would take the dessert order later. The roast dinners looked ok, 2 had the mushroom cheese pie, which should have come with chips, but arrived with mash. I told waitress it was supposed to have chips, not mash and she just looked at me, after prompting she took it away, then came back with it and said we’ll bring you a portion of chips. Not surprisingly the chips didn’t arrive, so half a pie wasted, as had been waiting for the chips. They offered a free dessert, but as the kitchen had closed, only 2 choices of cold desserts were available, which were poor by those who had them If you aren’t going to offer the full menu with all the courses, then don’t take the booking, apart from one server, I felt the staff were disinterested including the manager.

Went to the Saturday supper club and was not disappointed. Gavin was an excellent host and didn't cancel our booking, despite us being the only ones there! Amazing food and value for money, definitely worth it!

Great food and prices. Good selection of drinks too and very friendly excellent service, can recommend to anyone visiting. Also they do amazing chips

Lovely tearoom with a central location. Prices were very reasonable. Staff friendly and attentive and everything was clean. Good vegan options. Only slight gripe was that the "vegetarian sausage" isn't actually sausage but veggie fingers in breadcrumbs. Not sure why this is described as sausage! My son didn't like it because he was expecting a sausage. The chips and bread were very nice though.

Very friendly and welcoming. To the point of suggesting other places serving hot food when we turned up late. Stopped for a coffee and cake. Will definitely return.

I would highly recommend this establishment to others looking for a top-tier Sunday lunch in a welcoming and relaxed setting. I’ll certainly be returning in the near future.

It is the best place for Sunday dinner everything is superb and the staff are friendly especially Linda the first person you meet when you walk in.

Fabulous tea rooms in a unique location with beautiful views of the railway and the River Dee. The afternoon tea was delicious! We came yesterday for our Mum’s birthday and unfortunately she became unwell during our time at the tea rooms. The staff were lovely-so helpful, kind and couldn’t do enough for us, which we really appreciated during a stressful time. Would highly recommend and will definitely visit again. Thank you again for all your help and kindness.

Tuesday at 9am can't beat breakfast for £1 and a brew for 50p great start to the day, also a friendly group , also IT room and Food Bank

Coffee, cakes, quiche and couture! This charming , well, I don't know what to call it! It's a coffee shop that does delicious cakes, scrumptious breakfasts, wonderful brunches or light lunches, in a charming environment, indoors and out, with excellent service. But it's also an amazing ladies' dress shop, dresses meaning also trousers, tops, skirts, both formal and smart-casual. Very smart! The food is great, the waitresses lovely, the shop is so tempting... All in the beautiful Welsh countryside between Denbigh and Ruthin, with a nice big carpark. Don't forget your credit card when you go, the clothes are irresistible! .
