I visited tge cafe today with my husband as I often used to call in for coffee when I was working in Denbigh 7 years ago. Sad to say, the service was dreadful. We only ordered a sandwich and a coffee After about 20 minutes the young man came to say they were having to defrost some bread. He and the young lady then struggled to slice a frozen loaf. It was only 1.05 and not busy. When the coffee finally arrived, it was a very weak and barely hot Flatwhite . It was 50 minutes from our arrival when the sandwich was served. It was very tasty, but the long wait and apparent lack of organisation has put us off returning. This could be a great little place if they get their supplies ready and available, running our if bread at lunchtime is ridiculous , maybe sliced loaves would be an idea ? Such a shame, hope they up their game soon

The key to the wonderful experience in this cafe was the staff. Great service with a smile. My wife and I made a point of thanking them for their great customer service.

This place looked absolutely lovely so we sat outside as we had our 2 dogs with us. Went inside to be told it was table service. Went back outside to wait. They walked past us twice saying won't be a minute to then promptly take the orders of at least 3 other couples who arrived well after us. Gave up after 10 mins and walked away.

We were having a drive around various places in North Wales and came across this cafe. We only had tea and cake but it was lovely, tea was delicious as were the cakes. Staff were friendly and helpful. It also has a deli selling various Welsh products.

In need of a spot of lunch whilst visiting Denbigh we chose here, away from the high street. We very much enjoyed our homemade leek and potato soup with fresh sourdough bread and Welsh butter; and teas. Cosy and welcoming ambience. Shall return.

Really enjoyed our coffee and ginger biscuits here. Best coffee I’ve had in Denbigh. It’s lovely and cosy with the fire on and reasonably priced as well. There’s lots of specialty food and drinks that would make great Christmas presents.

I found this gorgeous little piece of Denbigh just by sheer chance of having an hour to pass by and took a different turn! So glad I did and a lovely little cafe and delicatessen!! So many choices to browse and Martha was really welcoming and so knowledgeable about the name and the place itself and will definitely be a regular with family and friends!! A must go to if your visiting but I'm very lucky as I'm now a local!!

Called in today with my daughter, toddler and baby. We had a pushchair with us. Lady working there seemed engrossed in talking with a lady delivering goods and we were basically ignored. We carried on in and only words spoken to us were ‘mind those boxes with that pushchair’. So we left.

For a scotch egg and a pork pie , filter coffee and a latte we paid £16.85- .....far too much for a small provincial town in North Wales. The couple who own the place were very kind and friendly and I am sure they would appreciate my feedback (rather than criticism)

Nice setting in the quiet of the Back Row. Fair selection of deli items, but pricey - particularly cheeses. Would be nice to see more local items...some are available at supermarkets, which is not what you expect in a deli!

I visited the cafe today with family and we were all very pleased with what we ordered. 3 of us had the quiche which was very tasty and came with salad and coleslaw, and another had a pork pie which came with salad and chutney. You could tell that both the quiche and pork pies were home made. The shop stocks a good selection of delicatessen products also.

This new deli in Denbigh offers a wide range of 'foodie' ingredients, both fresh and for the store cupboard, pies, cheeses, oils, pastas, wines and beers which is refreshing to see in Denbigh and a welcome addition. The coffee is good as are the cakes although when I visited the cafe was very quiet - could maybe do with some suitable and considerately complementary background music (maybe some suitable current Welsh language artists) to help prevent the place being so quiet, other than that will definitely try it again.
